Her voice is so amazing. At first I thought some of her tone was the all reverb used on the vocals, but then I heard her sing with not effects and she sounded the same. Incredible! She has very mysterious vibe and she is ultra-talented.
Could someone please advise me on what is the best Chelsea Wolfe album to listen to and absorb first ? I just found out about her last week and I’m thoroughly intrigued?
Heavier side is hiss spun and abyss albums, if you want a different more mellow sound, pain is beauty and apokalypsis are really good. She also has 2 acoustic albums, so it depends on your preference.
That was really interesting! Thanks for sharing something that means so much to you! It was interesting to hear the stories. Birth of Violence is in constant rotation in my home right now!
I know I already dig her song “survive” the most and “16 psyche” the most. Someone suggested that “pain is beauty” is her best, but, I’m just not feeling it. Abyss and hiss spun seem to be more my speed - is that wrong? Are those not considered her best material? I feel so late to the party ! So far, it looks that Abyss was her most exciting tour. Is that wrong ?
Those albums are more "heavy" ,intense and I guess appealing if you like heavier music. 16 psyche, Carrion flowers, spun, dragged out,scrape... all good songs, but I like pain is beauty and apokalypsis are probably my favorites.
@VincentCabrera ok, do you generally prefer more mellow music than hard rock or metal? Have you ever seen her live? I wish I could - looks like I missed her best tour in 2015 !
I've seen Chelsea 4 times - 2x in LA at the Unitarian Church and UCLA in 2013 and 2x in Dallas in 2014 and 2015. I chose not to see the show for Birth of Violence because I didn't like the album as much, though I heard from friends that it was amazing. Pain is Beauty is my favorite, followed by Hiss Spun I think. There's nothing wrong with liking what you like. We all have different preferences. It's very apparent that her confidence and stage presence have grown astronomically in that period of a couple years alone. I really recommend seeing her live if you get the chance.
Love her, her music and her tastes. That being said, can someone pls get her to invest in some inner sleeves?? Her taking out the first album was grating and not to mention a good way to get them scuffed and not get them to last as long as they should?
She listens to black metal AND pagan folk? Can Chelsea get any more perfect!?
Her voice is so soft and gentle that it forces you to listen carefully to every word she says.

If you feel like having your Norse mind blown, go with LIFA by Heilung.
True
Who is Norsehere and how do you know?
her voice omfg my soul is bleeding
Been with her for years. First song I heard of hers was “mer” so haunting dark vibes from the abuss
Why would you say that?
“Mer” wasn’t my first song I heard from hers but it’s one my favourite songs by Chelsea
I didn’t realize her Tarot shirt until now

i would also recommend Apokalypsis. dope album for sure and was the one i found first from her.
Pain is beauty, but I love them all tbh.
But that one really pulled me in. I also love her Unknown Rooms album as well.
@@uncharacte same. Friedrichshain was my first track that I heard of hers.
Abyss has a lot of heavy hitters.
Save our stages!!! Much love to CW
I love you Chelsea. I wish I could find a woman like you
Сзади случайно получились рожки ^__^
SHE'S SO PRETTYYYY!!!!!!!!!!
UGHH
honestly it makes me a little angry. not at her. just... gotta collect myself for a moment.
Not really, don’t get me wrong she is very sexy that’s for sure. But she obviously wears a lot of makeup, pretty doesn’t always equate to sexy.
she looks like an extra in a sh*tty Harry Potter or Tim Burton movie.
And her mug is right next to 'bipolar' in the illustrated dictionary.
@@staalhard666 :D i love the music that she does but that made me chuckle :D Thanks!
