This is extraordinary. I've been listening to Wardruna since 2011 and saw their first live performance in years after Covid hit (London, 2022). I consider them to be one of the most important music groups in my life. As for Chelsea Wolfe? Well, I'd been aware of her song 'Carrion Flowers' for a long time, but I'd never taken a deep dive into her music until recently. Having listened to much more of her work, I'm going to see her in October (KOKO, London). It's curious though, even accounting for her folk/pagan influence and love of some black metal artists (Burzum and Gorgoroth), I never imagined this would warrant any association with Einar. You can imagine my shock seeing these two together.
Can't wait for the whole interview. Love it how Chelsea explains that she can understand/ feel his music although she doesn't understand the lyrics.
hertan was awesome, can´t wait for the new album.
