    Julia, thank you so much for this video! You touched on all my concerns and all the talking points and questions I had. I really wish more flautists went a bit more in depth when it comes to headjoint allignment, placement and posture. Over all, great resource!

    Thanks, Julia, for posting. Great information as always. It's so interesting the different viewpoints about how much of the embouchure hole to cover. I've heard anywhere from a quarter to two-thirds. I too have a mark on the ring of my head joint, actually I have two marks that I use as a guide depending on how I'm sounding on a given day. I just experiment quite a bit until I am satisfied with my sound. Looking forward to your next installment!!
