You say tanaka's a simple character in terms of development, and it's true, but that's because his character is actually really unique and complex as he is. He'd be the 'delinquent' stereotype, but he's actually really sweet and loyal. He's a really good senpai (not just to be called senpai, a certain thing comes to mind that you haven't seen yet...) He's so strong emotionally, he has so much willpower and stamina. Despite being one of the 'girl-crazy' characters, he's ridiculously respectful to kiyoko (why write a gross pervert character when you can write a respectful goodboi *cough*mineta*cough*) and he's just so underrated! TD;LR Tanaka Ryuunosuke is a good boy who deserves far more credit than he is given.

The thing i love about haikyu! is how they remind you of the work, pain, disappointment and will to overcome and win, that fuels each point. gaah its amazing... and i know, cause i have seen it already.... it just gets better and better. Two players from Kageyamas old team on aba josai not just one. Yūtarō Kindaichi (turnip head) and Akira Kunimi Also, regarding passion, i would say Karusinos most passiontae players are Hinata, Taneka (as you point out) also Kageyama and Nishonoya, but then, possibly more than any of them, his passion is on heroic levels,... there is Daichi. The one that leads them all. And yeah the last point is huge, for the characters involved. I won't say how or who though. minor SPOILER ALERT: 3rd years in season 2 (i wont say in what capacity... but they are there, so calm down). aaannnd MINOR SPOILER ALERT. Haikyu! is not technically over after season 3... manga is still ongoing

There aren't any big spoilers about matches, but I personally think the analysis spoils some of the character development throughout Season 2. Someone let them know that a player cant be subbed in more than once per set. So Yamaguchi as a pinch server cant go in more than once a set. This doesnt apply to the libero and the players that get switched out and then go back in when Nishinoya goes in.
On account of Caleb mentioning baseball in discussion I want to rec Daiya no A (Ace of Diamond) anime, it's really close to Haikyuu in story quality. It would be great if you guys did reactions on it, but mainly I just want you to watch it somewhere in the future, even if just on your own, because it's totally worth it.

I got to nationals with my school, and from my experience, this whole rally was crazy as fuck. In regards to yamaguchi, that serve was too real, the way it just stuck and then bounced off the net, it's just way to close to real life. What you say about stamina is true, but I feel that there are a lot of more tiring sports, what really fucks you up is the knees and elbows, they get so so so so sooooo sore. (I'm a setter, proeviusly a MB, and after the longest game I can barely lift my arms). Even despite being a setter, the thing that I fear the most is being blocked, I actually lost our last game at nationals being blocked, and when you see the block, and even try to blow it, when you can't it's such a shock, I still remember it well
AHHHH That’s not how the Japanese sports season works there’s still another tournament it’s just that the third years usually leave sports activities to focus on college and such before it

It's about the characters and yeah... a bit unbelievable but if you can turn a blind eye to it, it's pretty good.
Celestine Buendia Kuroko is a great show and worth watching. It's a story of superhuman athletes, but the characters are still all lovable.
The movie Last Game was beyond epic...though I love Haikyuu more.
