I love this song and always have. They do it so beautifully even today as if it is brand new and they cannot contain the joy in performing it. Just so happy to hear it, thank you!
One of my all-time favorites! I peeked yesterday (11-26-21) to find out how high this song reached on the Billboard Top 100 -- it peaked at Number 2, being kept out of the Number 1 spot by The Monkees and "Daydream Believer!" Rather impressive!!!
I just keep listening to this every day for the rest of my life. Rediscovered this a few years ago and wondered why I didn't appreciate it as much as when I was younger
In September 1968 I was in a local band in the Trenton, NJ area and we had the very exciting pleasure of opening for the ‘American Breed’ and the ‘Cowsill’s’ at the New Jersey State Fairgrounds in front of thousands. A night I will never forget!! Oh what a night it was!!!
Very nice! I got to see three whole family about 1972 at the Topsfield, MA fairgrounds when i was 9 and they were awesome! That was the same year I saw David Cassidy perform in Boston. I didn't realize till years later that there Cowsills were the inspiration for the Partridge Family. That was a great year with two amazing concerts!
Wow.. I sat in the very same seat as this was being filmed at the Wolves Den at Fox woods Casino.. had the pleasure to see and shake Patty Loveless's hand... Great place for a concert.
Wow they sound kiss good 50 years ago I can’t please borrow old people man I’m still in the shark but I have to ta see you out of there we get one shot
This performance was at the Wolf’s Den in Mohegan Sun! I have been there many times and would have loved to see them live. When was this taped? It must of been before the pandemic
Yes it was. It was a great show. The cowsills have been there a few times, all before the pandemic. This show was from 2019 and, as always, they put on a great show!
@@dc682 I used to work at Foxwoods, which is MGM now (correct me if I am wrong). I went to the Mohegan to catch musical act’s a lot! Back in the early 2000’s you couldn’t gamble at the casino you worked in. I lived in Rhode Island at that time and find myself nostalgic at times
Okay, now don't tell anyone but... she works Tuesdays nights at Motel 6 in New Orleans on Old Gentilly Rd. Whisper to the desk clerk "Moi choi bochi fanoono" and slip him a Canadian Loonie. Remember, you didn't hear that from me.
I met her briefly in New Orleans during Mardi Gras 1993, I think it was; someone pointed her out to me at Tipitina’s - she was getting ready to do a set. I fell in love with her instantly. Introduced myself and said I was a drummer and from New York…she said, “I’m originally from Rhode Island…” I’d love to meet all of them!
One of my all time favourite songs... A pop masterpiece performed so beautifully .. Faultless pop classic
This song, and this only this song, especially the version they first played in the late 60s, reminds of when I met my wife on August 19, 1979.
Play this at my funeral...and ill rest in peace.
Deal!!!
JJUST ANOTHER GREAT SONG FROM THE GREASEST ERA OF MUSIC...50s AND 60s .
I love this song and always have. They do it so beautifully even today as if it is brand new and they cannot contain the joy in performing it. Just so happy to hear it, thank you!
Very welcome! They always put in a great performance!
It's a real joy to see this. They're great. Thank you. 👏 Best wishes from England 🇬🇧
I GREW UP WITH THEIR MUSIC!! STILL GREAT!!
Once a guilty pleasure, I'm now old enough (#71) to say "this is a great tune" !

Definitely one of my all time favorite songs. They do it beautifully here, but nothing can match the magic of when this song debuted in 1967.
The Cowsills Still Rock !!!

I’m going to see them in July. I hope they sing this song. It’s my favorite.
If you are, it will be a great show as always and I'm sure they'll sing this!
@@dc682 - It’s the Happy Together Tour and there are five other groups performing.
I was 10 when this song came out and it made me a confirmed romantic. Pity that I never really found my "flower girl". Great tune, nonetheless!

The young dark haired guitarist has the Cowsill jaw line. Is he a son of one of the origional band?
Yes, I believe that is Paul Cowsills son. Good catch! 😊
When.is their next show? Where?
