Buddy just been watching where you battered dandelion in woods I think we all struggling but thanks for opening up to us nice to see a real man cry I look after my disabled daughter it's hard but watching you and English woodsman I'm getting out there getting my stuff together keep your chin up bud
The only tent I've pitched in lockdown was when the trouble and strife came out the shower and her towel fell off. It went up surprisingly quickly! I told the missus it was made for two people, but she thought it looked a bit small. No problem though, I went solo and was more than satisfied. Keep making the videos Hazy, it's nice just to see you. Me and some friends who haven't done anything for ages are planning a little camping trip when lockdown ends, all inspired by you. Thanks for everything dude!
i bought the lanshan 2 last year, and have been out in it twice one was on a 500 mtr hill in strong winds, and withstood what it was given,45mph id guess, its a awesome tent in my eyes. i bought a four season inner for it, again from ali express, it has less mesh about halfway down and has no seeum mesh to about half way up, £55 its even lighter than the three season inner, but havent tried it out proper yet, awesome videos keep them coming mate,
I love both tents, I have both tents. For the money they are unbeatable value. I used my Lanshan 1 when I walked the C2C but the Lanshan 2 is for me and my lovely dog when we go off a wandering:)
Lanshan 1 Pro I fit well at 6 foot. I also have the 2 "standard" for more relaxed hiking. The 1 Pro is absolutely amazing for all day hiking where as you'd said, you are just sleeping at the end of the day. Lay down, some phone time, listen to music, kindle etc. is about all can do. But the weight saving and faster setup are worth it I think. The 2 is really great if just doing something like an overnight a shortish distance and wanting to spend time in the tent or just to feel more relaxed, if you're expecting rain and to be stuck inside etc.
Finally bought a Lanshan 2 Pro today off a fella here in the UK and being impatient don't want to wait till next week, never mind waiting on one from Aliexpress, can't wait to get out in it and hopefully use it to walk WHW for my first long distance trail. 😁
Great you mentioned the lack of seam taping. The Lanshan 1 is notorious for letting water in, mainly at the anchor points in the centre of the end panels.
Thank you so much for making the time to make this comparison video! Greatly appreciated. Loved the ending for those during lockdown who got lost and were bored 🤣
I really like my Lanshan. Great tent that ticks all the boxes for me. I'm not a summit dwelling wild camper and like to tuck myself into the glens and nooks and cranny's . Great video. Many thanks.

‘Rams head clip’. If you put the loops over both horns (as it were!) it secures them from coming off - in the wind for instance. Great for pegging lines on tarps. Been using them on Exped kit for years.
I have the non pro lanshan 2 with 4 season inner, I tied the footprint to the corner pull-out points of the inner, all goes in bag in one and quicker to pitch.

I used the Lanshan 2 for my 2019 Appalachian Trail thru-hike of 2200 miles, it was excellent and handled all weather from torrential rain, very high winds and snow (although it wasn’t a heavy snow fall). My only problem on a few occasions (considering I was camping in wooded areas) was that it has a large footprint so I always needed a fairly large area to set it up. That said, I would really recommend it as it was weatherproof, rarely suffered from condensation and was very very roomy.
Lanshan 2 (non pro) user here. Absolutely top dollar tent. If you have your finger over the buy button, just do it. JY Outdoor Equipment shop on AliExpress are very well thought of.
I really like LANSHAN PRO, it stood up to some really strong winds, but oh boy it flaps and make noise in that wind, i couldnt sleep some nights and i was worried it will fall apart or just collapse. i would still like to use it for a long distance hike like WHW or CWT but i dont have enough confidence in it.

Lansham 1 PRO is a nice comprimise. Bigger than the Lansham 1 without being the same size as the 2. There's a nice trick you can do with the guy lines where you pitch it out over a branch or your second walking pole and it will give you more height over the head or feet.
I love my 1 pro. It has a surprising amount of room in it and even though some folks complain about ventilation, by changing pitch heights and vestibule opening, you can actually get a lot of ventilation in it.
I have Naturehike Mongar 2 planning a 5 day hike and at 2kg the Mongar while very comfortable had to go. Have bought Lanshan 1 Pro have tested in garden and I think if you had the Pro would find the head room issue is a bit better due to the single lining walls. Hi Hazy, one mod I made to my Lanshan 2 Pro, was to add a bungee from the guy point in the middle to the middle of the netting to lift it up so condensation runs through the netting instead of down it into the tent. Zpacks Duplex has a similar thing as standard.

My main worry about any single skin tent would be dampness. If you have to pack away a damp tent in the morning you're erecting a damp tent in the evening. With double skin tents you can separate the inner and keep it dry. Although I've no personal experience of single skins.

Yep I was gonna get the lanshan 1. But not now. Cheers bro. Peace
Just watched your Cape Wrath series- effin' top notch stuff. I use a Six Moon's Lunar Solo, but am thinking to stretch out a little. Thx for the review. BTW I would totally recommend the lunar solo for the lone hiker. Before that was an older Eureka 1 person free standing- but it weighed 4 pounds. God bless materials engineers!
Nice one Hazy ,great comparisons 👍
Thanks for the upload.
Lovein the shiz bud thanks for the honesty. You keep safe
I’m thinking about getting the lanshan 2 for my WHW in September, fingers crossed, get vide pal and think it’s made my mind you, stay save and much love 👍🤙

Got my shots and getting the hell out of town my first chance camping. Still think your the shit stay cool bro we are going to win this one....sorry haven't visited but very mind blowing with this pandemic. Still love your videos and your girl friend.
I'm waiting till my new job to buy the copper spur ul 2.
Now I know what the tent is 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚
A little disapointed, I thought the pro version would be a bit more robust, I would not like to take that out in a UK winter.
What is the perfect height for the hiking poles?
And, what..... if mine are a bit longer, like 130cm?
Havent got a lightweight tent yet. The 2 pro is probably my choice. Thanks for the review.😊👍
