The end game was changed and revised to five correct answers in 60 seconds to win $5,000, if not successful, its $100 for each right answer, added to what the team added in their main game winnings on Chain Reaction in its second season.
That 2nd Season Bonus Game from the Dylan Lane Era reminds me of the Chain Reaction Spin-off GO where the contestant had to face away from the other contestants except that you had to hit the button to stop the clock and you had to get 5 words like in the Main Game of GO
@@tnawcwvictoria You are right all the way, but on GO the clock does not stop in their 60 second end game as it starts at "60" and goes all the way to zero "0", but their main game clock goes from zero "0" to 99 seconds. And the game show GO was hosted by Kevin O'Connell and was based on a Chain Reaction end game, and the game show only lasted three and a half months on NBC during the 1983-84 season, and was replaced by Hot Potato and later known as Celebrity Hot Potato which was hosted by Bill Cullen, who did indeed host Chain Reaction during its original first incarnation for a five month run from January 14 to June 20, 1980 on NBC. And Geoff Edwards who hosted Play the Percentages in syndication, filled-in for Bill Cullen on Chain Reaction for two weeks, while he subbed for Allen Ludden on Password Plus. Rights to these 4 game shows in reruns now belong to Sony Pictures Television, and rights to Password Plus in reruns now belong to FremantleMedia North America. I liked this show, but I didn't like being a "guy" while the women were "ladies."
Same here, Bill Cullen and Geoff Edwards will always be THE Best hosts of Chain Reaction, but that "guy" is Dylan Lane from fuse and yes, I don't care too much for him

I saw an episode where one ladies team won the Bonus Game and then he hit the bell like he was pissed off with that "How the hell did I get this job?" mentality
