I always thought the "rap" in the beginning of the classic version's theme was a bit messed up. Here are some lines: "It starts with 'Word'."... "The word 'game' starts a chain." Wouldn't the entire chain start with 'Word' (like the lyrics say first)? To me this line is better: "The word 'game' is in the chain."

GSN has partially struck his name down ever since Mike Richards' threat against women went public. Here's the rundown so far: October 2021: no more "Pyramid" (from '12) reruns weekdays at 9 AM October 2022: no more "Divided" reruns weeknights at 3:30 AM I'm not sure if "Divided" still streams on Game Show Central, however; the streaming is random. Why is the "Chain Reaction" revival not removed yet (if they and/or we know him by name)??? The show is still being advertised. When watching the old version I noticed that the new version was shown in ads for that show sometimes. The old version did not involve Richards at all, so I would want that version scheduled instead (even though it has been in reruns for so long).
I don't think there was an audience shown on camera in any episodes of this version of Chain Reaction, although the host asked them for assistance with words sometimes; this was also the case with season four of America Says. If there was an audience at all, it must have been limited due to COVID still being a national threat at the time (unlike now).
