this is EXACTLY why Maria Callas preferred singing with him more than any other tenor of that era... as great as he is in this, just imagine who superb he was, especially whilst singing with the immortal Maria Callas! it must have been sheer HEAVEN to hear them live together!

i was ten years when i heart this for the first time, now 30 years later , its sounds still beautiful...best tenor ever...sorry for my english..dein War mien ganzes hertz is better..because of the high C...

I get confused now, was this during the Nicolai Gedda in Corelli Tribute Concert in Vienna in 1998 singing "Dein ist mein ganzes hertz? So, this makes mr.Gedda 72 years old here, still amazing !!!
Great voice, but I prefer highly F. Wunderlich and R. Schock on this song. If they sing there is nothing but only emotion and luck. Hard to say in english.

Franco Bonisolli totally blows these German Tenors away and Bonisolli an Italian sings in very credible German and is absolutely Amazing.
