New adjustable clutch. 102c or a powerblock. Or a 94c ribbed not smooth. Upgrade to 38 mil carb stock way to small at 32 or34. Low pressure electric fuel pump and adjustable fuel regulator set to about 1.5 pds. Spun tanks blow motors if not set properly
i dunno if your kart has one but i believe those fuel filter are for engines with fuel pumps. The one you took off was the right type for gravity fed engines. Putting the wrong one on could starve the engine for gas.
Fuel pulse pump is a diaphragm that works off the bottom crankcase pressure . Change the spark plug and turn up idle to 900-1100. The belt in the drive is probably dry rotted. Those are the quick fix but take your time and do it right! After all it is a Honda and you can get links on the net for repairs or hit me back text???
I have a fl350. Ive gone thru the same problems. U need to adjust the drive linkage on the trans so itll slam into drive. Also they dont run so well with grav feed fuel setups. But best of luck with urs. Im getting ready to sell this one and get something fuel injected.
I’m having trouble with my dad’s odyssey. It’s starts but has a rough idle but once started runs okay and then all of a sudden will shut completely off and won’t start for awhile. What could be the problem? Thank you for your time.
hey, mine did the same thing until it wouldn't start at all. When it was cold it would start and run but just barely, and when it warmed up it was a no start. With mine it was a scored cylinder, no matter how much gas I gave it, it would not start.
dude you have a gravity feed system. Your petcock and your fuel tank needs to be a few inches higher than the carb your feeding. If not get a fuel pump.

I️ have one. I️ would put a pulse pump on your tank it helps a lot and u need to give it more gas to get it to move

Figured that out soon after the video. Luckily I was outside when it engaged. I knew it needed a high rev, but not that high.

I have the same odyssey I'm having problems keeping it on . It runs great just keeps dyeing
Luis Serrano you either need to adjust your idle screw or you need to adjust your air flow
hey man you need to give it more gas for it to go.I have the same 1. 2nd you need to raise up the gas tank fuel will not flow to well up hill
Nothing is wrong it engages at a certain rpm just rev it up higher

Your transmission is good u have to give it more gas so the clutch will open :)
You take out pilot air screw and carb clean that as well? Is it clutched like a snowmobile?
Wtf are you doing it a two stroke you can't leave the choke on that's the best way to foul your plug
you have a clog in the gas line it's not getting enough gas! you can tell its staving for gas

Cant believe how many things you did wrong. With all that rolling stock in your garage, you should have a bit more knowledge of this genre
