Your basically dealing with the same type of drive system as your trailboss you replaced the piston on . Polaris calls it a PVT but essentially just a belt-driven clutch. one you rev the engine the primary clutch tightens (goes in) and grips the belt belt to start turning the final drive (transmission). What I would suggest is to start the engine with the belt off and see if that primary clutch (on engine) is spinning and compressing correctly, if so then time for a new belt.

Harley Strine we had our belt just pop off the pulley. Any idea what wud make it do that?
