Every gate camp I've suffered has happened because of the same mistake. I check how many ships have died in the last hour. See its like 15 and think "Eh... it will probably be fine"

Using stilleto's with their base 970mm resolution+ 3-point disruptor, and most likely sensor linking to improve lock time even further. Been caught twice recently with 1.64 second destroyer but tons of shuttles too with much smaller sig radius.
Yeah I try to make it clear nothing is ever safe. There will be situations that will catch you out or you will just get it wrong. Best suggestion I would have is to avoid areas where this is happening. The options are limited hard for an Alpha due to no cloaks. Maybe don't move all the best loot in the same load/run, or manually scout gates before you take the good stuff through. Sending a buddy ahead in a nothing ship is a good tactic too.
Thank you for the constant support and encouragement. It is always appreciated. There will be much more content before. Some of the original vids need a remake/update. I am looking into areas of the game i didn't cover before. Solo null sec Alpha is doing OK so far :)

I didn't faced such big gate camps yet, and to the exception of Ahbazon where I flew through a few times in a corvette and got killed once or twice by a solo Praxis with smartbombs, I was otherwise lucky enough to find empty gates or be able to MWD+cloak trick my way out in quieter systems (like Otou for my PI, one jump to Hek). Most of the times they were one jump in-and-out operations to get some stuff I bought from the market, and if I needed more than the 125m3 of cargo hold of a corvette (Ibis), I would then scout in advance before going in with the "hauler" . I have been using the "Region" range option for buy orders quite a bit lately (navy tags (for LP store) and abyssal filaments), and as expected some buy orders in FW active region (Essence mainly) will have me fly deep into the war zones, so scouting many jumps and back twice is probably not a good option. I like your Incusus fit, I'll try that (in time, will wait until my buy orders fullfil or expire).
my firat big loss was my beloved drake that id saved and saved to get the arbalest heavy missile launcers for was an ill advised short trip yo lowsec to pick up some ammo whilst doing lvl 3 missions where i came across a single gnosis camping....utter panic ensued and alas my poor drake was no more
Oh no. I just did the same thing though it was a silly trip out of lowsec to get sensor boosters and scripts in the dessie. Didn't get back in lol. But did my offering to the loot fairy pay off....?
Covert ops cloak is your friend in LS space. Warp to and cloak immediately and you’ll be hard to catch. I daily and live in LS in cloaky T3s and any ship that can covert ops cloak. It’s very OP in LS because of no bubbles.
silly me, I thought I'd need a fast align, so I was discarding the Caldari T2 frigates because of poor align time and poor low slot. I'll consider the Manticore then
They are great for sure, the cloak MWD trick is pretty reliable and can be used on almost all ships. But Alpha's can only look at cloaks and dream. All they have to work with is luck, good reactions and a fast align time 07 :(

Hope you are posting more in the future and do some for the Harvest or Winter events. Just to see your take on the content. Are you going to do a run into Zarzak? I have thought about a frig or destroyer in a clean clone for shits and giggles just to go and say I went the first week. May try tonight. The harvest has been fun and lucrative with LS drops. @@daddex9222 I noticed one was just better than the other two and didn't give it much thought. I will over the next two days. I keep hearing in chat that LS isn't worth it because the drops are nerfed but was curious if your thoughts on that?
Good to have you back in action posting videos! It's been a while since I posted one myself. My only real run in with a gate camp was when I was trying to check off the AIR training task of visiting Nullsec in 5 different regions. I had just finished the last system and was about 2 or 3 jumps into my long road home and when I popped out of the gate they put up a bubble before my cloak even dropped. Before I tried to jump to the next gate I typed "Send me Home!" in Local and then clicked jump. I hope they got a good laugh out of it because I sure did since I was only in a Corvette with no loot in the hold and no implants in my clone. IGN: Lowlight
oh, that reminds me trying to reach the Mordu's constelletion with an alt a while back. I didn't make it to destination :P You are in high sec and jump straight into null sec (from Torrimos)
Thanks for the advice. I follow your advice about scouting before passing into low sec,, but I have yet to run into of them. Probably because I don't pass through very many low sec gates very often. It's always fun to see someone try to kill me, but then fail.

Great video bud but I disagree with your premise of learning ships. I'm level 5 and beyond on almost everything except Tits. If you give me a choice of ships .... I'd always bring a Thorax (especially with the plates buff).
That is a fair comment. I guess in my experience that kind of player does not hold back on what they fly, it will be the best they can for the job. You don't see much bling on my channel and i never advise it for Low Sec learning when a cheaper safer ship can do the job.I have more fun sometimes with the alphas in cheap fits than i can with the Omega's. Bling gets hunted hard, T1 doesn't. I don't think i have seen a solo Dread having fun in lowsec since the prices went mad. Mine is mostly a truck these day... for now. Personally Battlecruiser is as big as i really enjoy flying, anything bigger is sooo slow.. o7
The Gnosises are not armor tanked they are all hull tanked. They use the low slots for sensor boosters to lock targets fast, and some weapon damage boosts the finish the job fast. Also they keep a flight of ECM drones so they can run away if things get too interesting. The easiest way to get into camping is through logi. Execruor is good at keeping DPS ships alive, but shield logi is also wanted to keep tackle alive. As logi you don't get the security status drop for hits only the flags, this allows you to remain an honest citizen of the EVE cluster Takle is best done by a keres becaus of its +4 core disruption but all takle is paper thin so pre locked logi is a must. Gate guns will hit first one to take agressive action (usually the takle) and subsequent targets are likely based on the order they engaged (I'm not 100% confident about it tough) Easy ways ignore gate camps: sub 2 second align time, covops cloak, cloak+mwd trick Fighting a gatecamp is a losing battle 90% of the time, also they are almost always just business, campers hardly care about you personally, never take it personally, just move on and use a bypass fit. There's politics related to gatecamps as they are essentially a resource, pirates will respect territory and time tables for particularly profitable gates. Gate drops are the bane of campers, they happen, there are fleets that are specialists in this and can put a dent into campers wallets. There's also camp takeovers that can lead to wars. Because of the upcoming event drops will be set to 90% so if you have anything of value to transport do it now because starting the 5th the number of gatecamps will skyrocket. Also the infighting between camper corps will go up. Good luck! 🎃
Sensor boosters are mid slots, and armour tank you can get gnosis to 80k ehp, hull tank not as much and you cant use the logi for hull. What you explained is not standard.
Hull tank is certainly an option on the Gnosis. I could only guess what there fits are and I think in this case it would be an Armour doctrine. I did message the corp so I will update if they give me any detail :)
Are you playing eve echoes? Because Keres does not get +4 warp core distribution, they get warp disruption range. All of the new info you added since my last comment is wrong and what is right is borderline wrong, makes me think we arent playing the same game, eve echoes would explain you thinking sensor boosters are in low and people hull tanking in gate camps as well as the keres bonus being wrong, either that or chatgpt with wrong info.

@@EskaronVokonen manticore is one of my favorite little ships. I use it from time to time to hunt clone soldiers in 0.1 space.
