Tory Castillo, if you see this I want to say congrats and thank you, I DNF my first IRONMAN this last weekend (IRONMAN Wisconsin), missed cutoff after 13 miles on the run. Seeing your portion of this video, I just want to say you have given me that last bit of inspiration to get back at it man. Thank you!
Yeah same for me. I live in Denmark (Europe) and we have a long cold winter! But, an early race motivates me to train hard over the winter. It will be almost all rides on the hometrainer. Running with full winter clothing on! Zero sea swims! I love the idea of starting my race season in late April, and with a race that is flat and with great support. Always wanted to visit Texas too!
Horrible race support, bad communication, even worse customer service... A slap of reality... The provided hydration was watery and shit, volunteers closed stations early, took chips early from age groupers at cutoffs... They over sold slots and didn't have enough gear that people paid for.... Just a sad joke

So good! Loved hearing the athlete stories at the beginning!
This makes me want to consider IM Texas as a race for next year! Looks very cool :)

It's a fun race. But do not rely on ironman at all. Be self sufficient as much as possible.
Great video
Awesome that my great friend Toni made the thumbnail and race results cover image mailer. lol
They should call it Draftman instead of Ironman
So many dirty fkn cheaters out there
Seems like you are jealous
@@nanocr i was in the pelotons in Texas. It was shameless and disguisting. I saw a girl drafting at centimeters and she finished 3e in her AG.
