I saw this comment before watching the video and thought, “wow, I can’t imagine seeing myself here, there are so many athletes anyway… but wouldn’t that be cool.” And then proceeded to ALSO cry like a baby when I saw myself crossing the finish line!! 😅 So proud of us both
Lake Placid Ironman was my first triathlon and ironman back in 2006! It was a fantastic adventure from the training to the race itself! The spectators were first class and back then I was able to carry my two year old daughter across the line!
"its my 3rd Ironman but I have not finished the previous 2". Dude.... You need to actually train for this distance of and event. Jeez, come on people, realize what your committed to.
oh shut up. i dont think you realise how fucking sick and insane this is, the fact that people actually are able to do this. almost 4 km swim, disgusting 180 km biking and to top it off - a whole marathon. just because someone was unable to finish the race doesnt mean they didnt do their best. you have to fail to succeed.
I have not cried after an Ironman yet, but cried like a baby when i seen myself on here

"Finishing something you have started means everything" ....If one line can change my life, this is it. I'm in, Sir!
Such a great and tough course! Had an awesome experience doing my first triathlon/Ironman here.

Great video. This captured the day, race, venue, city, volunteers. And oh yea. Love Mike Reilly!
Nice to see a moment that features mostly Age Groupers!
Great video. Would love to see some more Ironman Foundation Team IMF racers highlighted. They Race For More!
The volunteers always come first . . . without even racing!!👏👏👏👏👏
I made the cut!! Whoop whoop!! Minute 13:45
Congratulations, man! Best wishes from Brazil.
Best finish of the night! 🙌
Beast mode!!!
The thing with triathlons, you never know who is your opponent, from your high school teacher to a super surgeon. Triathlons and triathletes rule!
Awesome
Boom diaaa
I'm surprised you haven't put a commercial break in this video lmao
