Yo man, I got the same bike RM 85 almost identical I’ve done everything you showed me on this video still won’t start and it was running before perfectly fine and I’ve changed all the fluids tied out the tank and re-mixed it with 91 and the two-stroke oil it has spark as well new spark plugs I don’t know what to do anymore head gaskets top and looks good has compression I’m so burnt out any ideas
I think I have the same problem with my bike, when I take the ignition cover off it doesn’t want to start so I’m replacing the left crank seal. Also sounds lean and I can’t get it tuned in properly.
@@donnaluke4103 yea I’ve had a few bikes like that and I’ve had some that have been installed wrong also. Never know what you’ll find buying a used bike. Even more so if it’s not running.
Whattttt rims are those I got a 03 rm85 lol paid 560 £ uk with locked gearbox fully rebuilt with new oem gearbox everything oem new cylinder literally everything I’m just over 1100 into her got swing arm left and brakes and I’ll put her in the road ( I got excel rims with talon hubs but dang your rims are mint boi
Throw some new clutch plates in that mate 1000% look at my old vid I put up runs similar to mine did put new as3 plates in the things stupid now just has such snappy power throughout the throttle forget valve opening it’s just rips

Start the bike when it’s not on the stand , that way you won’t almost tip over 🤡
It didn’t have a front break to hold me stable. I’ve done it before. I’m aware it’s not the stand.

Maybe try checking the carb. Make sure the jets are clean and the right size also maybe check the reeds for damage.
Check the air intake screw and air box or the stater i can't spell so not starter stater
Leak somewhere in the air boot or blown crank seal

I believe the clutch basket was starting to wear out and get notches in it

What was wrong with the clutch?
I’ll be making a part 2 here soon replacing and explaining a few things but it all came down to incorrect install from previous owner

I’m running a iridium plug bro 10000% better there’s hardly any wires I tbh 3/4 from stator to kill switch and coil lol there’s no wires at all really
