Both wikis are hopelessly outdated, especially regarding Enhanced Modes adjustments. On Enhanced, the Phoenix Tail no longer has its physical damage split into slash and strike, its just slash now. Also, triple scaling weapons need only 23 in each stat to reach softcaps.
Okay thanks for the info. I thought it didn't make any sense that the weapon just didn't do damage against coveted and dried king if it is supposed to have some blunt damage. Guess I'll have to take a quick look at some of the patch notes for more accurate stats.
Do you know where someone can find all the newly updated info? Been thinking of jumping back into the game and would love a full comprehensive list of everything the enhanced update changed.
@@TheValiantBob unfortunately no. I don't think anyone has gone over things since. For the most part it's changes to damage scaling and actually displaying the scaling numbers now instead of just vague ranks.
I thought about consumable only actually. Except maybe leaving it open to all consumables. There's actually a lot of options to choose from which would be kind of fun.
To dodge attacks that you have to hover in the air to avoid you can hold a throwable item and aim it mid air. It will usually keep you suspended long enough to avoid most if not all the damage.
Dragon and lamb bosses are roll away bosses- hit them on the nose and roll away without switching sides. You also attack pre-emptively for these boss fights unlike every other fight prior to this where you punish a boss after they attack. Prior to them, almost all the bosses are roll through bosses- roll through a boss's attack, then do your attack Or you could always block depending on your loadout The charm that adds range is also super good allowing you to do damage more often- in my mind it beats out the attack boost charm most fights
I always run the damage one so Ill give the reach a try. Now the question is, does extra reach still come into play on bigger weapons or is it less useful then?
The sword slam is caused by jumping and holding up and pressing heavy attack for some reason but if you hold down it won't do the sword slam and will instead use the whip.
I chose to play random without enemies scaling because with scaling the enemies damage goes down but their HP doesn't and they also don't drop as much salt as they normally would. However this also caused an issue as the Queen of smiles had been replaced with the Nameless god.
It's been a minute since I've played Salt and Sanctuary, but I think that weapons have different attacks for when you're ascending and descending in jumps. I think.
The hardest part of doing a run in this game with only one weapon type is the bosses defense stats. Some bosses resist 80% of slash or strike which makes some weapon types practically useless against them.
Someone suggested to me a spartan run. Shield and spear. Honestly pretty excited to try it out. Also Reaper is a must obviously. How can you play a game that has scythes and not use them lol
Hello Sheenshots I am a subscriber for 7 or 8 days and I came in this channel for outward and I want to see more of that, it was my childhood game I installed again recently in my pc but I am not getting any latest tips and tricks videos in UA-cam,And Can I run outward definitive edition in gt 710 that has 2gb ram and 6gb ram and i3 Intel processor cause I can't get original outward in steam, please reply btw Good Video Keep It Up💖
Outward can run on pretty low specs as long as you lower some of the settings a bit. I would imagine you should be able to handle it. As for vids I am currently working on one. However its taking some time but definitely going to be out soon.

And elemental buffs now calculate after other damage scaling not before. So the buffs are way better now
They also added sweat spot damage if you only hit with the tip of the whip I believe.

Used the range charm with the most recent patch and a scythe/ spear run and it was really noticeable

Idk what you have planned for your next video but I just started a randomizer run with the new update and would love to see you do one of those.
Would HIGHLY recommend starting as Mage as the early game lives gank fights and all the regular enemies for me where spiders, Ronin & Lamprey knights.

Totally agree. You do amazing, and then then next boss is just heavily against your damage. Its very noticeable when it happens lol.
did a plunging attack against the untouched inquistor using the sword part and not the whip part run invalidated
