I just found the advanced clinicals vitamin c and retinol for $2.97 on clearance at Burlington coat factory. Im so excited to use them. Thank you for giving us some advice.
I LOVE this brand, especially their vitamin C and retinol serums. They work amazingly well for my oily skin and do not cause any breakouts which is my main problem with serums from other brands. And their price is great too.
Advanced clinicals is AMAZING!!!! definitely hidden gems I’ve been using them for years to get a full experience and I’m on my second bottle of the vitamin c 😍✨
I changed from The Ordinary to Advanced Clinicals, and honestly I prefer the texture of AC more and the quality is good! The Ordinary some of their serums are sticky.
I've seen this brand a lot at Burlington and Ross stores, I LOVE their Tea Tree Oil especially for dry/cracked feet at night worn with some fuzzy socks!! My other fave is their Rose Hip Oil mostly for under my eyes each cost $6 at the stores mentioned. I will definitely try looking for the serums in stores and if I don't find them I will go online and purchase them with the code you've provided!😊
In the past I tried their Hyaluronic and Tea Tree and loved it. I didn't know about using Tea Tree Oil on the feet!!! Neat tip, I'll try it! Thanks Mary!
Awesome video! Although I should mention: Glycolic Acid sensitizes your skin to the sun nomatter if you use it during the day or at night! Either way your skin IS still more sensitive to the sun when using at night. So, as long as your strict with the use of spf you can use it in the morning before spf. There are studies that show that even when you stop using Glycolic Acid your skin is still weaker to the sun up until 1 week later!
I love using all 3 ingredients but I've been struggling to find a vitamin C and retinol that aren't as expensive as ones I have used in the past but are still cosmetically elegant. I may have to give this brand a shot at this price point.
The ONLY thing is I do prefer my Vitamin C to be in a pump vs. a dropper style bottle (because of exposure to air) but so far this has been working and has stayed stable!
Hi!! I have an Instagram story covering this-- you can either go to my profile and click the skincare highlight (it should be the 3rd slide) or click here: instagram.com/stories/highlights/17849145391266247/
Hello, I’m 23 but is it okay for my skin to use retinol? I saw some people say it’s good to start early but I’m also worrying about the side effects if I start too early.
I've always heard prevention is always easier than repair when it comes to anti-aging benefits. I would just introduce it slowly into your routine like I mentioned, always apply to dry clean skin and space out the nights you use it at first just in case your skin is sensitive. If you're worried, consult with a dermatologist if it's right for you!
Typically 6-12 months when stored under dark, cool conditions. The Vitamin C may become less effective sooner because Vitamin C starts degrading as soon as it hits air, so with the dropper packaging you're constantly exposing it. Once it turns a darker yellow that's when you know it's going to be less effective.
Is the glycolic serum a leave on product or do i wash it of after a certain amount of minutes? I leave it on all night then wash it off in the morning.
As mentioned, it's recommended to separate them though I *HAVE* mixed a retinol serum with a vitamin C moisturizer without issues, long after my skin was already used to the ingredients.
advanced clinicals retinol CREAM is comparable to nutragena rapid wrinkle repair cream but for your WHOLE BODY inducing face! it makes my skin glow like a VS model in... you know what I mean that glowing light reflective perfect look lol.
I use medacin T solution as prescribed by my dr, in the morning, should i use vitamin c in the morning too as i cant use it at night because i use adapalene at night?
@@slashedbeauty well.. Here in my country we are not provided an email 👀💔 anyways, im ordering this and will go slow or do my research before using it.
According to their FAQ, 1.3% retinol and in the vitamin c 0.5% Aminopropyl Ascorbyl Phosphate (AAP). “AAP is a special, potent form of Vitamin C that is stronger than Ascorbic Acid. Most Vitamin C Serums need to use 15-20% of Ascorbic Acid to match 0.5% efficacy of AAP.“ the info is here: advancedclinicals.com/pages/faq#:~:text=What%20is%20the%20percentage%20of,efficacy%20for%20more%20consistent%20results.
Which "this"? I mention three serums here but if I were to guess, you might be talking about glycolic acid? If you have super sensitive skin it may cause irritation especially as your skin gets used to it. If it's bad I would stop using it but if it's not just don't use it as often or you could build up your tolerance...
@@slashedbeauty yes the glycolic acid. I’ve noticed that sometimes when I use it it it doesn’t irritate my skin but then there is another day that it completely irritates my skin. Should I be concerned??
@@wrldjnk It may be your skin feeling particularly sensitive on certain days. Be sure not to use it on any active skin conditions, and I would use it more sparingly -- only once a week to start-- and work up if you feel like your skin is building a tolerance to it. When you have the reactions are you mixing with other products that have active ingredients?

Yes absolutely!! Simple but effective formulas!
Te aclara la cara???
I use all 3 ingredients, alternating. The best decision ever. Plus niacinamide, it works wonders.
Yay!!! This honestly seems like the perfect combo to really get the job done! Thanks for watching, Maddie!!
Advanced clinicals is AMAZING!!!! definitely hidden gems I’ve been using them for years to get a full experience and I’m on my second bottle of the vitamin c 😍✨
It definitely is a hidden gem!
I use to use the brand, but stopped. I am getting the retinol body lotion.
Good for you I am using the vitamin c now I love it especially the great smell I will be using it for now on I got mines from Walmart
I changed from The Ordinary to Advanced Clinicals, and honestly I prefer the texture of AC more and the quality is good! The Ordinary some of their serums are sticky.
Already use glycolic and differin (which completely transformed my cystic acne), so it looks like I’m about to buy some vit c serum!
yay!!! yes, differin is an awesome OTC drugstore retinoid product! so glad these ingredients work for you!

Great insight Cecilia! Yes, SPF is a must!!
Always alternate. I might try this brand when I'm running low on my serums. But the eye serum i really want to try.
Yesss alternating has made a big difference for the balance of my skin and overall just making them work better for me!!!
Advanced Clinicals is fantastic. I also love the packaging.
It's so great for the price. Them and The Ordinary are my faves for serums.
Thank you for sharing!! A video on the rest of your skincare would be awesome!!
Thanks so much, Monica!!
Do you recommend the Advanced Clinicals Retinol Serum over the cream one?
The cream that comes in the big jar is easier to use for the neck, chest and body, so depends on how you'll be using it!
Omg thank you hope this serums help my cousin.💖
I hope so too! Thanks for watching, Margarita!

Hi! Does the vitamin C serum break you out first ?
No, it never did!
Hi do you know does it has expired date? Or how long does it still work after opening?

Your skin always looks so good
Aw thank you! I really struggled with my acne this year and I’m happy I’m finally at a place where I don’t hate my skin!
That's Good
Hi, please which of the advanced clinicals serum can help to improve dark circles around the eyes?
Vitamin C-- I would recommend a vitamin c eye cream !
Is the glycolic serum a leave on product or do i wash it of after a certain amount of minutes? I leave it on all night then wash it off in the morning.
Yes I leave mine on as well, it’s layered between my toner and moisturizer 💜
Can I use vitamin c lotion with the retinol serum at night?
As mentioned, it's recommended to separate them though I *HAVE* mixed a retinol serum with a vitamin C moisturizer without issues, long after my skin was already used to the ingredients.

Awesome suggestion!
Can I use Paula’s choice BHA and vitamin C??
Best explanation i have ever heard
Thanks so much for watching!
Hello! Would you recommend putting moisturizer on your face before applying retinol serum, then moisturizer again?
Serum should always go before moisturizer as it's typically thinner and targeted, so it sinks in better that way.
@@slashedbeauty thank you very much!
Hi !!
Which of all removes acne marks? 😃
Glycolic Acid, it's the exfoliator so it will help renew your skin cells
@@slashedbeauty thanks !!
Get it amazon with cream. What Good face wash . Can use it under make up.?
The vitamin c can be used under makeup yes! The other two should only be used at night (like before bed)
Do vitamin c serum and dark circle serum a 17 or 18 years old girl can use?
Yes you can use them
I wish I would have seen this video before I had bought my more expensive vitamin c serum lolll.
Next time!!! Try it out with the coupon code and compare them! 💕
Can I use both glycolic serum and retinol serum of advance clinical at the same time?
I would switch off, so do one night glycolic acid and the other retinol like how I explain in the video.
I have and got good results.
I’m 25y can I use Advanced Clinicals Collagen Serum???
Sure!
I use medacin T solution as prescribed by my dr, in the morning, should i use vitamin c in the morning too as i cant use it at night because i use adapalene at night?
I would shoot your Dr. an email since you're on a prescription treatment!

Please review 5%niacinamide serum supposed to clear dark spots (advanced clinicals). Felt some tingling on skin after use.
I also felt tingling on first use with this one but that went away after about ~3 applications!
can i use vitc and retinol at the same time?
No
Percentage of retinol and vitamin c please?

Can I use the vitamin c serum for oily skin?
Vitamin C is great for all skin types!
can i use retinol serum and and retinol cream also by advanced clinical?
I would personally use one or the other, especially if you're just starting, so you don't irritate your skin.
Very helpful! Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Are you seeing results?
Thank you! I was looking for a good Glycholic acid product❤❤❤
This one is my favorite for sure, especially for the price!
I like this brand too!
Can i use vitamin c everyday night??
yes! I use it every morning.
This is the ingredient list on the vitamin C serum. It actually has several exfoliants in it already
