Such a good tip! I will say though to be a little more wary about buying skincare from discount stores like Ross, Marshalls, TJs because they often come from 3rd party people and not the brand, so they aren't regulated as closely!
i mix my coconut oil with my rosehip oil and add a few drops of tea tree oil with frankincense oil and my acne scars have subsided greatly! I wear the mixture to bed and cover my pillowcase with a towel so oils and bacteria from my pillowcase don't interfere with my concoction. I've also started using coconut oil mixed with tea tree oil for the acne on my back and shoulders that is caused by the hormones in my birth control implant, and it seems to be working slowly but surely lol Loved the video girl keep up the good work!
I used coconut only on my face for a while and my acne cleared up and my skin felt sooo sooft. I want to get argan oil or jojoba oil. This video was very very educational and helpful!!!!!
I swear by the tea tree serum. I found it at Ross and just bought another bottle. You can find it on Amazon. I bought the retinal cream as well and I love it too. You can find it on Amazon. I have such glowy skin. I couldn’t believe the results and you only need not even a pea size of the product. Even on the time of the month, I have zero pimples. I’m just so impressed and grateful to find something that helps with my overall skin.
This was so helpful!! I was hoping you were going to share how often each product should be used, spot treatment vs all over face, skin care step, and which ingredients it shouldn't be mixed with. That's a lot! Maybe another video if you haven't already made :)
Great job, very informative, yet genuine, and authentic. If you don't work for this company, you did a great job convincing me why every product is awesome! I would however love a suggested regime, what to use when, frenquency/amounts, in combo, etc...?? Especially helpful for Normal skin, dry, combo, wrinkled, etc...nonetheless, GREAT video, great personality!! You should consider news broadcast!! Fresh and sweet, and I think what people need and miss! I totally would buy based on your review. Just don't know what I should buy... Also, would love a review on face creams. My mom swears by Lancôme, but my grandmother and an elderly client of mine have always and forever used oil of olay, and their skin is remarkably gorgeous for their ages!!
I don't work for this company actually lol! Thanks for the kind words. I've never used oil of olay but when you find something that works, by all means stick to it! I do have several full skincare routine videos on here as well as posts on my blog-- check it out on slashedbeauty.com though, I'm definitely overdue for a new one!!
2020: I just found the $5 oil control toner with tea tree oil, witch hazel, azelaic acid and licorice root. I just applied it to my cleaned face and OMG I love this stuff! I can feel it working and tightning my skin. It will be great for my acne and large pores. I also love the rose hip oil for healing and moisturizing my face. Don't sleep on Advanced Clinicals. The products are good and very cheap.
It can be AM or PM :) Frankly the rule of thumb is go from thinnest to thickest product in your routine. ie. Face Wash, serums, then moisturizer. I wouldn't combine too many serums with active ingredients as they may irritate when combined. Try rotating them throughout the week or per routine.
Thank you for so much wonderful information!! It can be so hard to make sense of all the information around skincare but you have really made it so much easier for me to understand how to address my skin issues with particular products. Thank you again!
LOVE this video! Thanks so much 4 sharing this info with us. I find it very helpful. I've been having problems with my skin lately. So, I wanted 2 start using an essential oil but, wasn't sure which 1 would be best 4 me. Now I can make an informed decision. Thank you so much 4 that & the coupon code .That's an AWESOME price 4 the amount in those bottles. I'm excited 2 order mine & see what it'll do 2 improve my skin! Have a blessed day! Love,LaShawna ♡ God bless!
Serums are the magic! There are plenty of great drugstore removers, toners & cleansers so I spend my money where it makes a difference -- exfoliating & hydrating serums! We should all have 6 step skincare system - Remove, Cleanse, Tone, Treat/Hydrate, Moisturize, SPF.
hanan almaita Argan oil can be used on the face without the problems that coconut oil causes, so yes, you should be able to use it safely, but I would still ask my doctor or dermatologist. I recommend that you find a 100% Argan oil rather than using the one from this brand, though. None of the products give you a percentage of the ingredients.
I have really dry acne skin. And I recently purchased the jojoba and vitamin c oil and I need help on how to apply these serums. Should I just mix both of the serums together and apply all over my face? Do I use it morning and nights? Please help me ):
I would put the vitamin c first then the jojoba if you want to do them at the same time, once at night. Or you could do vitamin c in morning and jojoba at night-- your preference!! :)
jacq 3 It's better to use the vitamin C serum at night, but whether you choose to use it at night only or use day and night, ALWAYS use a sunscreen, even indoors, because vitamin C can cause photosensitivity in your skin.
Found them and the COLLAGEN Skin Rescue lotion at ROSS DRESS FOR LESS for $5.99 and just watched your video. On my way to work he store now to buy them all! Thanks for sharing this awesome information. Liked, Subscribed & Shared
Hi i have a small hole in my face because of too much extract of black heads which one can you recommend to me? just want to make sure if i choose the right one. Thank you in advance
Unfortunately, coconut oil can aggravate acne and/or cause milia, so I wouldn't recommend the coconut oil serum. As for the collagen serum, the molecules in collagen serums are too large to be absorbed into the skin to do any good. Collagen works best when ingested. I use an organic collagen peptide powder once a day, and over the past two months, have seen beneficial results in my skin, nails, hair, joints, and digestion. The vitamin C serum and the Retinol serum are available at my Walmart for $4.99 each. I can't say that I'm impressed with the Retinol serum. I've had better success with Differen, also available at Walmart for $12.99 and $28.99. Also, the vitamin C serum seems to be too unstable to last on the store shelves, let alone the three month expiry after opening. I wouldn't spend $15 a bottle on this line, and I'm not so sure it's even worth the $4.99 price point at my job.
They posted about this in their blog a while back. I had the same question and didn't mind doing some digging. www.advancedclinicals.com/blog/2016/10/7/how-much-retinol-is-to-much-retinol
I'm not a dermatologist, though I don't see why mixing retinol and rosehip would do harm. I'd be a little hesitant with tea tree just because sometimes it can be harsh for some people (sometimes it tingles for me!) So just tread lightly!
How do they expect people to buy their products if they don't say the essential info. I personally just assumed the percentage is super low and that's why they don't reply. Plus that also explains such a low price.
Carla Marie That is my conclusion, also. I've been using the Retinol and vitamin C serums for over a month now, and am not impressed. I also tried to find the percentages of the ingredients after I bought them, and even a search online revealed nothing. The Retinol serum seems extremely weak. Differen is more expensive, but still a fantastic drugstore option. As for the vitamin C serum, it was already a light yellow when I opened the bottle brand new, so either it had sat in our warehouse for too long, or the formula is too unstable (or perhaps both). Also, even though some people have good luck with it, I do not recommend coconut oil for skin care, especially if you're acne prone or develop milia easily. I can't say I'm impressed with this line. Better off saving your money and investing it on The Ordinary or Pixie skin care lines for more affordable yet effective options.
I have a pimple on my nose & I think it’s inflammation, and it won’t go away 😭 so i just bought tea tree oil, from my job & im hopping for it to go away! 😭 i just want my normal nose back 😂😂😭 I hate it...
purplelily Unfortunately, the info on the box and the bottle do not say, and a search online turned up nothing for me, but I can save you some money: it's not worth it. I bought the Retinol serum over a month ago, and have had no results. It's like putting on a thin, runny moisturizer, and I've had no peeling or reduction of my fine lines. I'm going back on Differen.

Mix* I already have the argan oil one but i want AHA, colagen the rose hip one and the retinol. But i know you cant mix the retinol with aha. But let me know! Also would the rose hip oil help with stretch marks?
The mixing of the active ingredients that are harsher like AHA and retinol shouldn't... even at night. The others SHOULD be fine but i would test on a patch of skin first. And yes, i've heard a lot of people say that rosehip oil works with stretchmarks!
$15 bucks each?😱i get them at ross for $5.99 or at dd's discount center!!!😉
Such a good tip! I will say though to be a little more wary about buying skincare from discount stores like Ross, Marshalls, TJs because they often come from 3rd party people and not the brand, so they aren't regulated as closely!

Yes! I need to start using it on mine too, I get eczema seasonally. Thanks for watching!

I found mine for 4.99 from tjmaxx
walmart also sells the vitamin C serum for 4.99
I found mine (coconut oil) at ross for 5.99.
No shade but... coconut oil does tend to clog pores. Just saying
Yeah you have to be careful working with it!

WHen is the best time to use the Tea Tree? Morning or Evening? And what order do these get used if you're using more then 1?

Ok....too many oil/serum😃.....now please step by step tell us how to use them....which serum need to use it morning, afternoon or night?
Me podrían decir cuánto tiempo dura el de vitamina C después de abierto???🙏🙏🙏
Until it starts turning yellow/brown!

*wants all of them after watching*
lol they all sound so great, right!? Thanks for watching!
Walmart $5.99 / $6.89 I like it makes my skin soft. Haven't used it for to long, to find out what it will do for my wrinkles.!. 🧡
Awesome find, what a deal!

Glad I could help, Shelley! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for sharing, I like how you separated into different skin types, and serums. ❤️😊

Yes, working serums into my routine has changed my skin!
Your skin is looking fantastic, Miranda.
Thanks so much!! It's really been clearing up.
Sweetie can i use that vitamin c for oily skin love u😍😍❤
I'm an Esthetician aka a skin care specialist and coconut is actually really bad for your face.. it clogs your pores.
Can we use argan oil on face ,, especially combo skin???
Yes I learned the hard way. It does

I loove advanced clinicals! their tea tree oil formula is absolutely brilliant! Thanks of the video!!
So glad there's another fan! Don't forget the coupon code if you want to stock up. Thanks for watching!
Go to Marshalls! They are $5.99 :)
Rosehip Seed Oil is a big ingredient in almost every single Julep product. I love the brand and you should try some out on your channel!
Ooh, good to know, I'll have to check them out. Thanks for watching!
Can you use both the Tea tree and AHA one together or will cause some issue??
What serum is bette for oily skin
Do u have a video on using them? Like ur facial cleanser day and night?

Hmmmm... not sure about that. I would ask a derm, because if it's like a textured scar I don't know if serum would help.
Hi . I bought the hyaluronic acid and the vitamin C . Which should I use for derma rolling ?
Ooh I've never tried derma rolling so I wouldn't be able to help but there are a ton of videos on YT abou tit!
I'm not sure why she wouldn't mention that COCONUT OIL is comedogenic (pore clogging) and for some people it causes breakouts...
This is something I learned years later!

Es bueno el de vitamina C???
Lots of info, do you know what % the retinal serum is? Checked the website but couldn't find it wondered if it may be on the bottle 😊
Hmm I can't find it either. I'll try to ask them directly! Thanks for watching!
They posted about this in their blog a while back. I had the same question and didn't mind doing some digging. www.advancedclinicals.com/blog/2016/10/7/how-much-retinol-is-to-much-retinol
Erika Felix thanks so much Erika!
Slashed Beauty donde puedo contrario
Que
Coconut oil is highly comedogenic!
I have learned that the hard way in the years since filming this old vid!
Which should I use to reduce laugh lines between hyaluronic acid serum and collagen serum
collagen... or retinol
Can we mix vitamin c with collagen and hyronic oil to use them as one serum for daily practices at night thank you
I'm not 100% on whether or not they play well together, a quick google search may tell you but I would always work slowly when layering products!
$4.99 at Burlington
Very helpful! I love skin care!
Glad I could help, thanks so much for watching!
First time watching you. You did a awesome job
I live in the high dessert what do you request?
Thank you so much!! If you're in the desert, you're definitely going to want moisture so hyaluronic acid or coconut oil would be great!
Can I mix say the retinol and rosehip/tea tree? I was thinking of alternating.
I'm not a dermatologist, though I don't see why mixing retinol and rosehip would do harm. I'd be a little hesitant with tea tree just because sometimes it can be harsh for some people (sometimes it tingles for me!) So just tread lightly!
Slashed Beauty thank you for respinding so quickly. I use this retinol already and love it.
Carrie Barcus-Peters and u
I have been using the tea tree oil one for 5 months and it hasn’t done anything for my acne scars :/
Tea Tree is better for actual active acne and avoid new scars, I think. AHA and exfoliating toners are what will help moreso with the scars.
Slashed Beauty
Thx :)
They don't give you the % of how much is in each product.
April Runquist i was trying to know the % too.......
Exactly!! I wanted to know the percentage of vitamin C. I even emailed them and didn't get a response

the tree tea oil can u put it by itself, for acne? or do i have to diluted
I would dilute it just because it can be very harsh and drying.
Slashed Beauty i heard you can dilute with distilled water whats the best to dilute with
yes, or argan oil / coconut oil
Slashed Beauty okay thankyou 🙂
Yessii Please mix it. It burns when used alone.
Por favor en español o que tu explicación sea subtitulada gracias
I have a pimple on my nose & I think it’s inflammation, and it won’t go away 😭 so i just bought tea tree oil, from my job & im hopping for it to go away! 😭 i just want my normal nose back 😂😂😭 I hate it...
Good luck!!
Where to put retinol serum in rooms temperature???
On a dresser or side table in a bedroom would be great!
How ironic watching this video in March 6yrs later lol
What happens if you use glycolic acid and retinol together????
Ella Rose Budd I had the same concern. Did some research and you should be okay if you use your acid first, and apply retinol 30 mins later.
Use retinol at night and the other one in the morning, please don’t forget to use sunscreen, because is acid!
What is the glycolic acid? Should I not be using the vitamin c serum and the retinol serum together?
beldruegas THIS.
