Charlie Sheen hilarious speech at Guns 'N Roses Slash Walk Of Fame Ceremony insults Axl Rose.
On the day that former Guns N' Roses rockstar SLASH was enjoying the climax of his work and fame by getting his own star on the Hollywood walk of fame, Charlie Sheen had something else in mind. The former Two and Half Men and current Anger management star came out to give a speech with guns blazing and wanted to settle the long time dispute between Slash and AXL Rose his own way by getting somethings off his suffocating chest. He chose to start the Ceremony by insulting Axl Rose followed by a stew of cocaine jokes.
He noted "It's quite fitting that Slash is getting a star on the very street Axl Rose will one day be sleeping on." He added, "This star is going to be stepped on more than the coke we did in the 80s."
Now that's the epic Charlie Sheen "Winning" phase. No wonder he's being considered for the upcoming season of American Idol. Can you imagine Charlie being one of the Judges? Either way, Charlie is always a good spot and seems to be enjoying every minute of his life! - Розваги

There's no possible way Axl is worth more than Charlie Sheen. I doubt he is worth more than slash seeing as though they were in the same band for a number of years.
The joke was more about Slash being relevant where Axl is a has-been.

Axl could definitely be worth more than Sheen - most of sheen's money wouldve come from 2.5 men - a good pay day at $2 million an episode but how many were there? 100? thats $200 mil gross. Take out tax, agents/managers fees etc likely no more than half remained - lets say $100 mil. And we know Charlie isn't adverse to sniffing and pissing away large amounts. By most accounts Axl, whatever else he may be, has some sense of business discipline. GnR were the biggest band in the World for a few years and earned a shitload of money. i'd say Axl still has most of it - probably $150 million as a guess. So yeah - they are all financially loaded - its pretty stupid all of us with only a few hundred thousand bux splitting hairs on who has the most hundreds of millions bux.

Well i agree with you..but the fact is why is Axl being made to be such a joke?it's so cool to hate him.And the blame is he broke up the world's greatest band..Well if some people were actually a part of a band they would realize that there are always two sides of a story..not one particular person can be blamed.plus the shit about axl signing all the rights to the band to himself?? he simply wanted permission to keep using the bands NAME if none of the original members stayed.
it's a shame to make humor about another human being, and still that human being is Axl. that will simply never be forgotten! I was sad because slash laughed.
"Doing drug in front of Axl" was one of many aspects. However, it's not the main problem and they (Duff, Slash and Matt) still could overlook it and carry on. The main reason which broke the band were the Axl's bossiness, coming late (or not coming at all) to every shows or reshearsals, departures of Izzy and Steven. I don't hate Axl, but he was somehow the main reason the band was not the same anymore.

Axl saw the way the others were behaving, and that they were likely to die as a result of their drug use (Slash did, twice, and had to be revived), and he didn't want the band to be destroyed by the rights going to one of their wives, so he took control. He also never refused to go on until they signed-that was the management stirring shit.

thumbs up man , i play the guitar too and he is my biggest influence as well ,,,, he's a truly legend and I'm pretty sure his name will last for the next generations , and one more thing I discovered from the book is that Slash made the right decision about leaving GNR , i always used to be against that decision and always wished that they get back together , but u'll see wen u get to the final chapters that slash had to leave because it was impossible to continue with Axl
Axl is set for life, he still makes money off of every album being bought and still tours, even though he doesn't have to. He's a bloody multi millionaire, and has investors handle his money so he earns more then you or me do from working annually just from interest. Slash started his own band that sounded completely different from the other ones he was in. Started from scratch with brand new songs nobody heard of. He played them and created them from the heart.At least he's not using songs that made him famous from over 20 years ago and using the same band name just so he would stay famous. Slash worked to get where he is right now. Axl is only there because of the contract making the name Gn'R his. Axl Rose is a poser.

4. Yes, Anthony wrote that book for Slash based on the interviews. Should we believe in that interviews? FIY, Duff wrote the book himself, and everything in it was his true thoughts and feelings. Both confessed that Axl forced them to sign the contract, giving him the right to own the name and others are just his workers.
5. Every rock band has problem with drug including Aerosmith. Did they break up? No! why? Cuz noone is bossy, they're friend forever!

Every rocker uses drug, man. Look at Aerosmith or Motley Crue, or other rock bands: they did drug together, got sober together. Doing drug can't be a reason to break a ROCK band, as long as they still can performance well, you know! The diff between Aerosmith and Guns is that no one is bossy around in Aerosmith

1.Duff was 1 of the very first member of GnR (along with Izzy and Axl). In my opinion, he owns every rights as Axl does. If Axl were the boss, then so were Duff.
2. They ASKED Slash (and Steven) to join. why? cuz he's good! He would be famous one way or the other, with or without GNR
3. Every GnR songs were written SINCE Slash joined the band.
4. Axl forced they signed the contract before Slash left the band.
5. If there were a bossy person in the band, that band would break up sooner or later.

And if u prefer miles' singing than that's completely ur choice. Miles would still be in my top 10 list of great vocals(not frontmen because there are way more charismatic singers than him) but Axl is definitely number one for me. And miles definitely is the most talented rock singer in the past five years behind only Brandon Boyd of incubus. Just my opinion
