I hope he is never released. But knowing our system, and with him now at a much older stage in his life, I wouldn't be surprised if they do eventually allow him out. He should, and so should other people like this, stay incarcerated until their dying day. That's only my opinion though.

I spoke with the old Collation Officer based at Blackburn police station. He'd been told of Michelle's murder, he said "entwistle would have done that if he was out" - he was told he had recently been released. His replied was "thats your man"
We still talk about this video today, myself and the wife. Can't really get out heads around why he was let out of prison, considering the number of charges he'd already had. I don't know the law, but it just seems incredible to us.

I believe he was banking on the gypsy people being blamed because he knew they were there. Michelle was exactly a year older than me age was not the only thing we had in common and seeing the news at the time it was scary for us all, a lesson in not being talked into anything, if that person (male or female) is practically hounding you to go with them then you go in the opposite direction. In theory that works well…. In theory.kind people don’t always see the danger in others we all like to believe that people wouldn’t do what we wouldn’t do. I could be wrong but I think back then only Home Secretaries could order a whole life term rather than a judge handing down the sentence as in the Letby case. I cannot understand why he wasn't released on license for the previous attacks, but maybe that wasn't available back then. It might be his claim of widespread attacks could also be a lie. I'm not sure if the attack could have took place on the towpath as it's quite a drop from the road above and a busy road as well. It could be that somehow he used some form of coercion. Life should be life.

Very disturbing case this chris, like any case like this is. These people are more often than not failed at birth, by absolutely useless parents and growing up are damaged by the school system then failed by a health system that fail to spot the warning signs and leave these people to their own devices as they have no boundaries in their depravity and it's poor innocent children who suffer disgusting

That little girl (because that is what she was) would clearly not have voluntarily has sex with him as she did not do it with her boyfriend given the opportunity and also less inhibited as she was drunk, I also do not believe he killed her by the canal as he would have disposed of her body in the canal rather than risk carrying her body to his car and being seen. We've had the notes ready for a couple of years now, but a few other channels covered it, so we decided to leave it for a while. We only live 10 mins drive from Rawtenstall so it's easy for us to do I guess. Have you read the book Odd Man Out? That's a terrific book about her life and the murder.
