Dryers: Geddy used to have his amps back there, but then he started just plugging his bass into the PA system so there was this huge empty space behind him. So they started putting dryers, vending machines, rotisserie ovens etc. there to "balance" the look of the stage, as Alex still had his huge stacks of amps.
