“If it took 45 years to walk into the woods, you’re not going to walk out in a day or a month.” This is the most powerful thing I’ve heard regarding TMS healing in all of the research I’ve done since I first read “Healing Back Pain” in September. All of us in pain are so sick of being in pain that we are impatient to be done with it. And therein lies the paradox. Because that impatience prolongs the pain for the very simple fact that it pours more unnecessary anxiety into that deep dark well of suppressed emotion. Thanks for the continuing guidance Nicole. And I sincerely hope you find your ring!
Nicole, finding you has completely changed my life. I am still new to JournalSpeak (3 weeks in), but have noticed immense changes in this short time. Looking forward to life ahead. Thank you for releasing me from the prison that was my pain. I express my gratitude for you everyday I journal.
So much FREE material from you!!That is true love, because many of those healed ,never give back!, and if they do, it costs a hell of a lot for “ their” system! To we poor people, thank you ,and I send all my love back to you!
Hi Nicole You are very beautiful inside and out. Thanks for helping me/us For 5yrs I suffer from RA medicine did little I did natural for a while Then came September 2017 I discovered Dr serno and immediatelly I believe I had TMS So for 2 months now I keep searching then I find you I stopped all natural remedies Started jounerliing Talking to my brains No change in pain level No change in insomnia I released my childhood tramars I let go I forgive I am calm Relax No change in pain that is my concern Thanks Am waiting for your reply In regards to your ring relax and it will return The background of your daughters room is lovely and the art work is relaxing with the soft colors We thank her too for giving up her private room so you can make this important UA-cam video.
check out my website and online course. sometimes this work takes time - do the work every day and use your body as your proof. www.thecureforchronicpain.com/course
Nicole, what do you recommend for someone who had a full healing of TMS for nearly a year, total remission (cure) of nearly all symptoms (severe neck pain and upper back pain for YEARS, disappeared from journaling)...but now...after a few months of really bad stress, totally back in the pain again. Bang! Neck spasm in full force. But now, I KNOW I can heal. Do I just keep journaling again? I have to be honest, I stopped journaling probably when I needed it most, because I was symptom free so i (wrongly) thought I could just stop journaling. I’m being really hard on myself. I’m afraid that “this time it’s gonna not go away”. What do you recommend for relapses?
As you might have predicted, I recommend to do the work, like a warrior, every day. Stop feeling weak and decide you're strong! You did it once, now do it again. Have no doubt. Do the work and heal.
Hi, not a specialist on this by any means. I’m at the four month mark learning about TMS for the first time. I just hit the one year mark with chronic pain from the waist down. I’ve just had my best week in a long time and I can’t put a finger on what helped. I have only recently begun journaling again. I do think, like many things in life, variety might be a way out of this. I, like most, have been devouring many videos on the subject on UA-cam, I’ve read a few books including Sarno and Alan Gordon, I meditate most days (I really like the Mindful Movement videos), I’ve been working on more self-compassion, as I’m my worst critic and have suffered from low self-esteem/confidence, I’ve been speaking to the pain, no no no, I’ve been telling myself there is nothing wrong with me, the list goes on. I’m hoping it’s starting to help. Felt compelled to reply, as I’ve also found Dan Buglio’s success stories are really helpful - hearing what other people have done to get better. Best of luck, I’m rooting for you! Matt.
HI Nicole... how do I find a TMS specialist? I know in my heart that I have TMS, but would love to see a specialist for confirmation. Thank you for answering at your convenience
Hi Nicole, thank you so very much for your loving encouragement, it a means the world, I AM having slow and steady movement happening and I am so grateful to have come across Dr Sarnos work. His website left me a bit confused with too many options. I feel you have narrowed it down to the basics. I wonder if I’ve missed something however,…..so I’m currently doing the journaling 20 min 2x per day. Did I hear you say her e to do meditation as well? Is that a requirement as well?
I adore you! You are so wise and you’ve helped me so much! I’m dealing with pain from an injury that is healing and has a super strong TMS component, when I began to treat it as TMS, the symptoms “flipped” into “Piriformis Syndrome” and sciatic nerve pain. About a week ago, after a lot of letting go and indifference, and telling myself I was safe, and journaling, all pain ceased. Gone!!! Many good days followed. So I went out and did some things that I have not done for the duration of this, just “living life”...as I have not done in months. Feeling good! The next week, my pain/spasms returned but flipped into neck pain and GERD. Major “symptom substitution” situation. I said, “Aha! I have you. I now KNOW this is 100% TMS. And.....now the old symptom (pelvis/butt pain) has come back in full force. Scaring the hell out of me. How do I tell it to go? How do I be stern and present with it at the same time?
Hi Nicole, My back pain started 2 and half months ago. I consulted a Physician and from the MRI got to know that I have a bulged disc at L5 S1 level. The bulge was minor and it showed only minimal narrowing of foramen. I tried physio, ayurveda treatment and the pain on my back reduced but I started to feel numbness and tingling in my legs. Then after few daya my hands also started to feel it. I don't have major pain but numbness and tingling moving around hands or legs or some times both. Do you feel I am a right candidate for TMS treatment?
Just raise the foot of bed about fifteen to eighteen inches, secure your feet to foot of bed, by stretching this way, pain should subside. If you find this to be the case, keep it up, the longer you stretch this way, possible total recovery! Had herniated disc. Ten years before This method worked. Be patient, crutches to get around, stretch this way, even after recovery or it will come back. You c also secure your upper body, stretch either way, alternate J.H.
Hi Nicole. I have been doing therapy with a therapist trained by Mrs Feinblatt who was on Sarno’s team. The issues I’m working on are very difficult. Thank you this video comes up during one bad bout of symptoms. For some reason all I’ve heard from the therapist is “ignore the symptoms and the emotions aboutthe symptoms” which is hard to understand since the work is about not repressing emotions..... Your message in this video is more precise and encouraging. I read your book a few days ago, I got it on Amazon kindle. Is your video course that you offer on your website different than the book? What does it include? I find your work to be a good complement to my therapy session with the psychologist. Tryingto get as much information inside my brain on the cure modelled by Sarno; didn’t connect as much with Steve Ozanich work so far.
Hi Paul. Thanks for your comment! The course is 14 lessons which can be reasonably completed in 30 days. It takes you through my program step by step, and is very comprehensive. It sounds like your mindset is right where it needs to be to do very well with it! Learn more here: www.thecureforchronicpain.com/course
Thanks Nicole. About "How to listen to your body and be mindful of what your pain is telling you. The importance of giving a voice to your pain, and healthy ways to do so.".... This is a fine line between focusing on the symptoms and ignoring them, Dr. Sarno says to ignore them... I absolutely can not "Track" the symptoms and Have to ignore them while I do therapy - I know from experience that they get worse if I observe them. So what exactly do you mean by that? I don't want to purchase the program if it doesn't bring me anything more than your Book. If that makes sense.
There is much to be said for action. Taking action and doing something differently is the greatest factor in shifting TMS. Your question about focusing versus ignoring is too complicated to answer here, but I think your process will lead you to the answers, and I focus a lot on these issues in my course. I can't tell you whether or not to take it, but I can say that it offers far more than the book and gives you a month long plan of action that, if done with heart and purpose, will be a huge step in alleviating your symptoms. Best of luck!
i read the book , listen to your videos and write for 20 minutes every day and my back pain got really really better.. i even had days when it went away ! but then i started to feel it again.. not so strong as before but it came back even though i was still doing all those things. can some people feel better and than feel the pain again? /and another thing. i was listning to some meditation for TMS yesterday and the back pain gone but after 5 minutes i got horrible pain in my neck (i still have it) and in the fingers of my right hand can the pain move around? and what do i do now?
Everything you are feeling is TOTALLY normal! It means you're healing. This is a long journey, and the slower you go the quicker you get there. Don't stress out - just breathe and do the work every day. You are on your way!
Thank you 😊 my neck much better today and i notich that a pain in my leg that i have for 3 years with no change at all,now feel really better. Thats amazing.thank you very much

Call me a conspiracy theorist if you want, but I don’t feel safe joining your social media page on Facebook (I believe they’re collecting personal information for Intelligence Agencies via these platforms). I know your page is private to other viewers, but that doesn’t make it private to the staff.
Hi Velvet. Sorry i am just getting back to you as I missed this comment somehow. Yes! I have had clients with this exact diagnosis get well completely.

Yes, self-compassion meditation helps after a session, I know i often feel shame and guilt so it does help in my case
Definitely take your sons advice... the audio is really low :-)
THANK YOU (times 20000000) ;-)
the ring fell off your finger - were you able to get the ring or it fell off without you being aware that it fell off?
