- Figuring out how to combo into, out of, back into and then back out of his V-Trigger Orb was so much work/testing. Doing it while keeping the opponent standing (as in the First Menat clip then a bunch throughout) looks sick though, so I'm happy.
This took a stupid amount of time to make. Been working on it since Seth was released and really happy to finish it and watch all the clips back-to-back.

Damn this might be the last combo video for SFV and wow I just gotta say what a way to go. Thank u desk for these awesome combo videos might actually get back on SFV even tho imma scrub.
Desk managed a way to make look good a lazy, bad designed and cheap game like SFV with almost no logical mechanics and full of 50/50 situations.
Im upset because in all this years this game had the potential to become the ultimate Street Fighter, like the best of the best in the world of fighting games if they fixed the online issues and added a few modes and mechanics, few more ways to have your own playstyle, like mixing some stuff from the mysterious mod plus some defensive things, but nah, we better stick to making DLC costumes and Halloween stages and make it look like a celphone game with microtransactions, right Capcom?

A complete game with everything you could ask for, being the most balanced, abundant, and overall definitive iteration of SFV for a small price, and also the netcode is apparently getting fixed this week, so instead of continuing the hate train, let's help contribute to the success SF deserves.

Seth needs a Perfect Cell Costume, it fits him so well.
There was a SF4 mod that had one for him.
@@JackCeck I only Played SF4 on 3DS because I didn't have a Play Station. I still got enough training in to play Balrog and Juri competitively. By far my favorite iteration.

That Alex combo wasn't the longest of flashiest but still made me audibly gasp at how sick it was.

I don't think there would be another Street fighter game. There is no story line to follow.
@@harjotsingh-ps1wo there definitely is. We have not seen Ken's son in action, Chun Li's adopted daughter in action, we haven't seen Oro, who is arguably stronger than akuma in action, or anything like that. Sf3 is definitely not the end of the story. To my knowledge, Gill has yet to be defeated.

Most interesting character in SFV. Actually makes me want to pick it up again. But to busy playing KOF and Garou. Seth has some legit combo creativity/variety that this game has been missing. The only characters to really have it are G, Gill, and now Seth. Most of Seth's combo variety comes from the V-Skill and V-Trigger gimmicks working together with his natural special moves. Pretty neat. Good stuff as always Desk.
hilariously enough, seth's my current main and those two are my secondaries
Damn that's weird I was just thinking earlier how much more fun and creative G, Gill and Seth are than the rest of the entire cast. It's a shame it took them so long it hit their stride, but they knocked it out of the damn park with those three.
@@whotfisKy same here. I use the same along with Akuma and Ryu just cause they are long term favorites if mine. Hardcore players want characters with interesting mechanics they can delve into and more casual players like flash and spectacle that is exciting to look at. And those are not entirely exclusive l. It can be vice versa it both are appealing aspects, but at the end of the day both are important to implement for a game that looks to have a healthy lifespan. People are still figuring new things out on games like KOF 2002 and MVC 2 because those games had fun systems and the designers left certain aspects of them open ended enough to allow players to explore and experiment. SF 5 is in a much better place now, but it killed this mentality after the beta was over when they started removing interesting things characters could do. Hell Chun li could combo after her super and continue the combo.

I love how long Seth can make his combos go with VT1. And even at the end of it all, Seth still usally has some VT bar left. It’s so VT meter efficient that it reminded me of how it’s the complete opposite of Juri’s VT1; drains so fast because almost everything you do either consumes VT meter (EACH chain) or just outright drains big chunk (fuhas).
Seth truly is the new Juri that we needed! Do I sound salty? :3
It makes a morbid amount of sense given that he's stuck using a version of Juri's body. She's lucky he didn't steal all her moves too while he was at it.
your not wrong but juri's vt1 is also 2 bars, juri's vt1 strength comes from confirming and not long combos or pressure and extension, for example st lk into st hk criticial art is very viable in neutral/footsies, I personally main vt2 now cause I don't have to change my game up just for the vt1 and I can finish off most chars with a 3f light if they have less health then the stun bar xd. I also like having multiple CA's a round

Seth's combos are great, but I don't think many people have pointed out that it's one of those situations where he spends twice or even three times as long on his combos.... but they end up doing the same amount of damage as the relative few hit combos of the other fighters. Of course, they couldn't raise his damage because then he'd probably full meter you off of one combo =b
