It's utterly disgusting how the Japanese judges treated him. You can clearly see that they certainly didn't like Buakaw because he destroyed their best fighters.
Maybe but judges are biased everywhere, you would know that if you ever competed in anything at a higher level, still those judges ware assholes, idk what Japanese have to do with it but sure.
Yeah they’re racist and sore losers.
Same goes with partial decision on Russian fighter
He won fair and square.if he had influence
Yes
They didn't wanna see the brown man win. Lol.
Takayuki: "I don't play by the rules!"
Buakow: "You don't understand. The rules are to protect you, not me."
Monster
That's original @bell
I’m not locked in here with you you’re locked in here with me haha
ฅชษจีนฝนตก😅ฃ😊ภู😊
Honestly those judges fucked over Takayuki if anything else, because all they did was subject him to more punishment from an even more angry Buakow lol. If I was Taka I woulda been like what? another round? Hell no I give, you fuckers come fight him he's crazy lol.
His story is always inspiring...I like how you dubbed him, the God of Muay Thai. Undeniably, because of him, Muay Thai gets international recognition today.
Alongside with Changpeuk
Funny enough his career best acomplishments are in kickboxing lol
Please add legendary (a bit old, too) Saenchai who is so softer and almost gentle. surely friendly, but very efective - like the strike he uses so often to get the oponnent down to the ground..., etc. In nearly opostte ways, both raised muai thai level, international recognition. Buakaw os more fearless, fear maker, destroing right low kicks and an amazing left cross punch. Saenchi is more like a performer, he does put quite a show, and in the end, all is friendly
@@davidpineda9160 Very true but if anything it just compliments Muay Thai.. just the fact that he fought Petrosyan to a 'draw' (would've been a clear W if the fight went exactly same was but the name wasn't Giorgio) speaks volumes!
@@davidpineda9160we all know that kick boxing is like the down-grade version of Muay Thai though.. so that also means lots of his weapons were taken out and also got robbed, but still dominated in "kick-boxing". 😅
Imagine being a man that reaches this level of greatness. A true national treasure and worldwide star. Most of us can only dream, but he made it happen.
Is this the REAL Jackie Chan??
I lived in Surin, Thailand, for 4 years as an English teacher and got to take part in the Buakaw Surin Marathon which he organised to promote health and exercise to people. He ran himself among everyday people and even presented the awards at the end.
I guess he is very nice guy .don't carry the headweight
When I was in Thailand and my friend, a local and a former Muay Thai boxer, brought me to a gym to for some lessons and I asked him to strike me. He told me I needed a pad and I insisted not to but he ended up getting a pad for me to hold and just one kick knocked me off my feet. So I got up, asked him to do it without the pad and he said "your ribs will break" and he gave me some strikes at 30-50% and I was bruised for a week. We got some food with some other fighters that evening and I'll never forget when I asked what would happen if Buakaw striked me and my friend translated and they all laughed and my friend replied "you'd die!" and I asked what if he striked them? and they all laughed and my friend said "you die....we die....we all die" lol
Yes u r smart... sorry
@@realitymatters4745 I am sure you are smart too

Buakaw is one of our Thai legends.
It couldn't be easier to be remembered as a legend.
He has been practicing hard since he was young.
It’s genuinely disgusting how many times Buakaw was robbed from winning the Grand Prix by biased unprofessional judges
It's crazy! I feel like I'd have flipped out if I were Buakaw, but he kept it cool in public at least.

The way this guy trains is to be respected because not many people are willing to go that deep.
Buakaw is a very good man. He came to a buddhist festival to pray for a monk which passed away, showing just how humble and respectful he is. No boasting, no nothing. My role model

I hadn’t known about Buakaw until a few years ago when I started really getting into combat sports. When I say this man is one of the all time greatest athletes in any sport, I truly mean it. He may not be as popular as Ronaldo or LeBron, but this guy puts in twice as much work both physically and mentally. Muay Thai training regiments are brutal and the vast majority of people wouldn’t last a day working out at these guys’ level. These fighters might as well be from another planet with the way they are disciplined and the amount of work they put into their craft.

True. The word legend has been overused and it has lost it's significance. That's why I'm still a bit confused that is this fighter really a legend. Is there no Muay Thai fighter who is better than him?
@@nasdoc1 Rather than a muay thai legend, he's the greatest kickboxer of all time. The game changer, the first two times K-1 world grand prix champion. He’s a legend because of how he helped bring Muay Thai more popularity. I don’t think he is considered one of the GOATs of Muay Thai though.
I was lucky enoug to watch Buakaw train. And yes the other guys train hard too but he REALLY goes 120% of capacity. Never seen anyone constantly exhaust himself in every element of his training. He was like a unstoppable machine. So this is not all "talent" - it is a very high degree extreme hard work every single hour every single day!
it's like buakaw is cristiano and saenchai is messi
in K-1 he need to be extremely fit to fight many round in 1 day
Well it did say he trained for around 10hrs per training day
No, its talent and everything else. Not everyone is born the same. Your mama lied. Get someone to train exactly the same as buakaw, he is still not buakaw. You get what i mean? If talent is not part of buakaw then there will be many buakaw but no, there is only 1 buakaw. Buakaw have a talent that no one can ever get with just hard work. Just like you can read a million books, you're still not Einstein.
