Everytime Manny had a fight, my father would let all of our neighbors come to the house just to watch, I remember so many people cheer while my mother prepared a feast to celebrate, almost like they already knew that Manny was going to win. How can you not love Pacquiao? The skill and philanthropy, a combination very few can claim. A true sports role model that people of all ages can look up to. Can't say enough good things about this guy.

They keep talking about his power, which is impressive, but let's face it: What's truly impressive is his pinpoint accuracy. His hands seem to fly effortlessly to exactly the place they need to be to get past guards that look impenetrable. One second you're thinking, "He's gonna have to wait for this guy to drop his guard a bit" and suddenly he's punching his opponent with a flurry of blows as though their arms don't even exist. Pac / Marquez is THE greatest rivalry I’ve been privileged to watch in my lifetime. Rarely have there been 2 more evenly matched fighters. Both all time greats.
There is a documentary here on UA-cam called MANNY which was narrated by Liam Neeson. Or just check The History Boxing Channel here on UA-cam. That's the closest you can get to a Netflix production.
I believe that when he lost to Marquez in the 4th fight, is when he changed his life & was truly touched by God. Manny fights for those who can't. He has inspired me for years. His fists made him famous, his heart made him a legend. Greatest fighter to ever do.
he lost too much in his early career, Tyson withstood the hardest fights known to man and only lost when drugs became a factor. Mayweather retired undefeated. I disagree
@@swerve9857 I disagree to you, being define as a greatest of all time to manny Pacquiao is not about the winning a toughest fight and perfect records. Pacman is inspiring to watch he gets back again when he was defeated and fight again proving not his strength but his will to fight and love boxing. Modern boxing is now full of arrogrant people and forgot that it was used to be a gentlemen sports but he truly define boxing as a gentlemen sports during his time from prime and being a legend. Pacman always accepts challenge from fighters and willing to fight no matter who his opponents is that's why he lost sometimes because his not like the others who would choose their opponents based on their money and ability just so they can keep their records clean. Pacman always accept Marquez to fight him until he was Truly defeated in the 4th fight and Marquez then deny to fight Pacman again when he requested to Marquez to fight him again because he has no reason to that's not very gentlemanly for rejecting a proposal, seeing pacman is weak then Floyd finally accept Pacman to fight after a decade of request to challenge him yet pacman still accept the proposal. They just like to keep their record clean while pacman don't care about his records and he will accept his mistakes to make him become more stronger until he win against anyone in the boxing world. If that's not tough then I don't know what is it.
Wow! I am just blown away by this man, his story and his legacy! i used to believe that Ali is the GOAT of boxing, but i have found both a contender for the title of GOAT and a new personal idol in Manny Pacman The immeasurable amount of respect and admiration people have for this sports icon could not be more hard earned and well deserved! I hope his heroic and decorated journey keeps continuing, with a long and illustrious career.
Manny was a seriously good athlete. An illustrious path that shines to all. Truly, He must be living proof of what fantastic achievements are available when ones commits to digging themselves out of a hole. Salute Manny 👏👏
Ya same Ali is a great idol and great boxer but when i ask people that says Ali is the GOAT ''why do you think Ali is goat in your opinion they always say he was more than that like his politics, culture, religion related and he was against war and a really great boxer'' and i ask them that's why he is the GOAT? GOAT of what Politics? no ohh Boxing that doesn't make any sense at all. We all know Ali is great but Don't judge a sportsperson by his/her religion/politics/ or Skin colour judge by there Victories,Trophies and Achievements. Look at the Resume and Judge a Sportsman not other stuff and When you really think about it Manny Pacman is the GOAT it's very clear
alexis repil straight facts! There will never be another pacquiao..... virtually impossible for anyone to emulate his skills and style! Win lose or draw he’s entertaining and gives the best he can
@@KuyaArbee I know we're all Filipino here and support Manny but just like everyone thought that no one would replace Muhammad Ali back then, someone in the future would come to be able to replicate how big Manny's impact inside and out of boxing.
This man has a true sense of honor. A statesman, a military man, a charitable man for his own people donating many many homes, and one of history most ENTERTAINING combat sport fighters. Couple that with his against-the-odds success story. A modern warrior and gentleman thru and thru.
I remembered when my late grandfather and my late father loved to watched boxing. When there was Manny Pacquiao fight, my dad prepared a TV outside the house, some snacks, juices or beer are on the table and some chairs for me, Mom and other people to sit to watch the fight. Good times. Rest in Peace, Grandpa & Dad. You always be missed. ♥️ From a fan in the Philippines 🇵🇭
Zero crime rate here in the Philippines when manny fights. Never will i ever experienced it again. I'm so thankful that I've witnessed his greatness in my time. 👊
Manny Pacquiao is the greatest fighter of all time. A true "Fighter". Win or lose, no ducking, no running, he fought whoever,, despite the challenges, the hardships in life, and even when all the odds were against him, he still fought and fought with all he can. That is the definition of a true fighter. When Mayweather fights, you know he fights for money and pride. When Pacquaio fights, you know he fights for his family, his friends, his country and for all boxing fans around the world. GOAT.
Manny and Mayweather were avoiding each other for years it was a 2-way game to make more money they would fight each other's opponents, like when Floyd came back from retirement and made Marquez look like a amateur in a squash match...... A guy who took Pacquiao to the limit or when Pac-Man fought Hatton and beat him easier then Floyd did If you want to say Pacquiao is the Goat when factoring in everything outside the ring included you're entitled to your opinion but IMO the entire GOAT debate should be for what you did in boxing in the ring and within the sport that why I think Mayweather is the GOAT, all time skills, all time success, all time promoter/fight builder and trash talker and when he came back in 09 to face Marquez he went on his final 10 fight run beating the best the sport had to offer including Manny and made it look easy for many of them it's arguably the best career ending run in boxing history he alone was keeping the entire sport relevant bringing in more eyeballs than anyone ever and money Pacquiao is all-time great, and yes his philanthropy is amazing but I believe Mayweather is the better boxer
He's humble to everyone, the best thing I really love about this guy, he prays before his fight to ask for strength. And pray again after his fight, to give thanks for what he receives, whether he wins or loses.
Watch Kid Kulafu on Netflix. It's the story of Pacquiao whem he was young. He even witness a decapitated head when rebels fought government troops in his province at a young age. Now that made Pacquiao a warrior.
This is the best Manny Pacquiao documentary I've ever seen. Thanks Joseph Vincent. Manny Pacquiao is absolutely top 3 greatest boxers of all time! Salute!
@Panty Sniffer I think there's a few that earned his respect after i.e Morales and JMM. They fought 4 times, kinda hard not too after that point. Margarito on the other hand...
I respect anyone and everyone that says Floyd was the better fighter of the two, but for me Manny IS the GREATEST "FIGHTER" in boxing of all time. His achievements, his fights, the way he fights, the way he boxes, the way a nation gets behind him, his victims. 8 Divisions. No one else has done it the way he did it. For me, to be the greatest of something means you have to the best fights, the greatest matches, and that is where Manny has a significant edge over his competitors/colleagues. He makes boxing a joy to watch, a spectacle to experience, not just a "money fight".
Honestly, i got tears watching Manny on his age fighting to put foods on the table for his family. He's an extraordinary human being. He's gifted with talent, with big hearts. He's one of a kind. So special. He deserved all the credits and praises 🙏❤🎉
Manny PacMan Pacquiao is a living legend. His love for God is beautiful to witness, his compassion for mankind is astounding. May God continue to bless Pacquiao so he can bless the world!
Michelle, you've hit the nail on the head. Manny knows God and his purpose in life. That's his strength, that's what sets him apart from all his other peers.
Beautifully said. That's right, he is loved by millions of fans, and by our heavenly Father, because his humility and giving heart. There is a Bible verse in James 4: 6, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”, that I think explains why Pacquiao has been blessed.
shamefully I admit I didn't know nearly enough about this man until this video. after watching, he has become my favorite boxer to ever lace up gloves. what a man. what a human. he is honestly what I would call the ultimate role model and without a single doubt the GOAT
Grew up watching him, bit of a bias as he does represent my nation, but damn that bias is really justified when you hear his story. It's so inspiring hearing this kid who slept on the streets rise to become one of the greatest. While I'm out here with better circumstances accomplishing far less, his story pushes me further
@atrailofblood He was asked about same sex marriage and his views on it. He unwittingly quoted a biblical passage to justify his stance, unaware of the interview's political agenda. He's not the brightest bulb around and probably just parroted what he heard some pastor said. It sounds worse when it's just a clip taken out of context but he clarified that he is not homophobic. He's had extramarital affairs as well so he is also a sinner. Only God can judge us, if He/She exists.
@Midnightrambler3760 yeah I just looked it up. Pac was 143.8 while algieri was 143.6, pac was also a pound heavier than marquez but Bradley was heavier than pac by half a pound
@Midnightrambler3760 oh yeah I checked it's true. I didn't know that. I think I assumed since the walk around weight of Oscar was a natural welter then Pacman was smaller
This man had the heart of a nation behind him, boxing is so mental in so many ways and having the eyes and dreams of a whole nation behind you, unreal. Truly the essence of a people's champion.
"His legacy is often compared to the greatest. Mohammad Ali." "Both men used their incredible gifts to build up and give hope to those who felt hopeless." "For them, every time Manny steps into the ring, it means more roads, hospitals, parks, and schools."

I’m just so glad I got to grow up watching most of Manny’s career! I can remember so many of his fights that brought my family and relatives together. Everyone always freaking out over the smallest things during fights, listening to the Filipino national anthem, debating with relatives what the tattoo on his chest is 😂, listening to his hilarious post-fight interviews lmao, etc. His fights were some of the best times of my life. There are only 2 sporting incidents that have ever got me heartbroken-and one of them was when Manny got knocked out by Marquez. I had bad feelings going into that fight because Manny always had a hard time against him. When that knockout happened I felt like that was the beginning of the end of his career. But I’m glad he still continued on to have a solid career afterwards. He’s one of the very few inspirations in my life so I’m very grateful for all he’s done for boxing and for his people. The people’s champion and forever a legend!! Also thanks for all that you do to create these amazing videos 🙌🏼

NMF x Plays I brought everything. I was so fast out there My quarterback kept under throwing me all night. I was wide open in the end zone for a TD on an out and up route and he misjudged my speed and underthrew it so bad the Corner that I burned caught the int lol. I only caught one pass that night. And that was on the drive to win the game. It was 3rd and forever and I ran a deep dig route and he finally hit me over the middle to pick up the first down. And then the next 2 plays he threw a quick pass for a TD and we won. It was a frustrating game for me. But we played hard and we won. Oh and on defense I caught an int. My defense was stellar. 1 pass completed on me all night. And that was on their best WR. But after that 1 catch he had on me, I almost caught another int but he stuck his hands in there and saved his QB.
From time to time, after Manny retiring this year, I feel nostalgic and just feel both immense sadness and pride to be able to witness MANNY "FREAKIN" PACQUIAO. Yes, he literally defeats not just his opponents but the challenges of life. He is my GOAT. I miss him so much. I literally cried when he loses and when he wins, and even now, I am tearing up because we will never see him again in the ring but he will live in our hearts, forever.
He learnt from his mistakes and whooped arse..what a legend. Relentless, skilled, fast, giving heart. Never forgets where he comes from. I will forever respect this man.

A guy who took Pacquiao to the limit or when Pac-Man fought Hatton and beat him easier then Floyd did
If you want to say Pacquiao is the Goat when factoring in everything outside the ring included you're entitled to your opinion but IMO the entire GOAT debate should be for what you did in boxing in the ring and within the sport that why I think Mayweather is the GOAT, all time skills, all time success, all time promoter/fight builder and trash talker and when he came back in 09 to face Marquez he went on his final 10 fight run beating the best the sport had to offer including Manny and made it look easy for many of them it's arguably the best career ending run in boxing history he alone was keeping the entire sport relevant bringing in more eyeballs than anyone ever and money
Pacquiao is all-time great, and yes his philanthropy is amazing but I believe Mayweather is the better boxer
why does every manny fan keep mentioning maywheater if u hate him so much than fight him in a boxing ring jesus

For me, to be the greatest of something means you have to the best fights, the greatest matches, and that is where Manny has a significant edge over his competitors/colleagues. shamefully I admit I didn't know nearly enough about this man until this video. after watching, he has become my favorite boxer to ever lace up gloves. what a man. what a human. he is honestly what I would call the ultimate role model and without a single doubt the GOAT
Grew up watching him, bit of a bias as he does represent my nation, but damn that bias is really justified when you hear his story. It's so inspiring hearing this kid who slept on the streets rise to become one of the greatest. While I'm out here with better circumstances accomplishing far less, his story pushes me further
I also learned that he doesn't really like people like me. thats a shame :/ hes entitled to his views though. ah well
@atrailofblood He was asked about same sex marriage and his views on it.
The special thing with Manny is that he entered virtually all his fights as the smaller guy. This kid was born to box
@Midnightrambler3760 for sure? In which important fights was he bigger?

And then the next 2 plays he threw a quick pass for a TD and we won. It was a frustrating game for me. But we played hard and we won. Oh and on defense I caught an int. My defense was stellar. 1 pass completed on me all night. And that was on their best WR.
