Undefeated in Thai Fight. His resume is around 400-50 though. You gotta remember through out his career he has given weight to his opponents, even the elite, elite thai fighters he would give a 2lb advantage. His losses come predominantly from clinch fighter smothering him - stopping him from using footwork and, as they are larger than him, they have the power to clinch and wear him down. He also lost to absolute legends in the sport as he was coming up. Samkor, thongchai, he was around 15 or so when he faced them and lost. But they were golden age legends already. I remember back in the mid 80’s when my pops first got cable tv. I was into boxing and all that. Pops called me into the living room and said sit down and watch this. I was like wtf, they can kick and throw elbows. My dad said you think your tough? I sat in silence watching and after the fights I turned to him and said NO, I’m not tough like that. That music always playing in the background. I thought I was watching some type of underground non sanctioned fighting. At 12-13 years old I was amazed. Then in my mid 20’s the Gracie’s came around and yet another martial art that astounded me. The good ‘old days.
Oh my God, I remember when the Gracie's were dominating 2-3 of us w'd pitch in and get a room to watch and also the Tyson fights. I was a hood nerd and didn't have cable 😏 but an appreciation for technical organized fighting & all what was happening there! 80's were an awesome time!
I'm Thai and I have to say Saenchai is the Muaythai legend that proud to introduce Muaythai to the world. and as he said on the news and as many muaythai fighter known that Muaythai is a sport version of Muay BoRan so many techniques were banned and Saenchai is just like many Muaythai lover's that do not want people to forget about the Ancient Muaythai techniques(Muayboran) so he chose this technique called "ม้า ดีด กะ โหลก"(Ma-Deed-Ka-Lok)=(The horse bouncing skulls) from Muay Boran Table to represent Muaythai to the entire world. And most fighter all around the world called the cart wheel kick because it's make sense too right?? lol

I’ve just watched this video in full, and honestly he makes every fight look like he’s fighting tourists playing at fighting. Unbelievable 👏🏻
Dude hell yes. Glad you made this one. All of them but this man is a true goat
Would love to see you do a bit on Ramon Dekkers. One of the first foreigners to dominate the Thais.
Saenchai's full record is 378 fights, 327 wins and 0 losses, ZERO!!! That's beyond impressive!
Something wrong with your math? 😅
@@theoneaboveall7708draws exist?
Wikipedia claims 49 losses.
But in a 378 fight career... that's insignificant.
He has 40 something losses, not undefeated but still the greatest.
He has loses but he's still the GOAT
The perfect embodiment of a Muay Femeu.
Khun Saenchai is the indeed the GOAT !!
And most fighter all around the world called the cart wheel kick because it's make sense too right?? lol
You can see so many UFC fighters emulate his style. Dude's legendary!
this just made my day, you’re the man J Vincent
I've watched and been involved in combat sports for well over 30 years now.
He is the best I've ever seen when it comes to skill
'sonic boom perfect timing' Joe Vincent out here throwing combinations. Loving the Muay Thai series man!
Holy crap! Thank you. Just looked up this fighting style on my lunch break at work. Now, I can not stop watching. These fighters were and are incredible.
JV comes through yet again! That kick at 2:45.....that's some serious power.
Your Dokus about Boxing,MMA are by far the Best ones on UA-cam. Love you!
WOW.!!'WOW WOW.!!! What a brilliant upload. I'd heard of Saenchai here in England, but had no idea of his ability & achievements. That was so well done, with brilliantly edited fight scenes. I'm going to have to watch that again right now. Very much appreciated. Bless up bro 👊
I’m SO happy you did a video for Saenchai 🙏🏽
The deep dedication and the dedication of the mind more importantly is such a honor to have watched
Your videos communicate the beauty in martial arts perfectly.
What a legend... he's hardest fight that I've seen was him vs Nong-o and Namsaknoi who are legends themselves.
Watching that fight now, thanks for mentioning it.

Saenchai, Dekkers and Buakaw made me love muay thai. The goats 🐐
Master Warrior Artist! What a Fighter. A real living legend!
These videos are awesome only started watching them this morning and I already can't enough
YOU CAUGHT ME OFF GUARD, WITH THE JIM CARREY PART, HAHAHA YOU NEVER MISS, THANKS FOR ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO!
I don't know anything about Muay Thai but Jesus Christ this was smooth to watch. The way he can balance and still move around on one leg and then unleash power shots from hell is just something else.
Saenchai and Buakaw. My favorites!
And lerdsila for me all three are amazing and different from each other
Yeah, I wish I could have seen an official fight between both...
I am just now watching all these about muay Thai. So who was better?
@@DregGayton777 Samart Payakaroon > Saenchai > Buakaw
@@ksemiwhere does rodtang fit into that
This guy is awesome. That’s all I got. This guy is awesomeness personified
This guy is the true definition of the greatest of all time never lost a fight
I love seeing Muay Thai Legends! Please keep making more Muay Thai videos! You do great work
He is a funny guy
He is a entertainer
He is a muaythai monster
Yes he is Sanchai
This was so amazing both Saenchai and this documentary. 🙏🏼
Amazing video as usual !
Thank you for the constant quality of your work
Would you consider doing one about K-1 and one about Pride FC ?
There are so many great fights and fighters during that era (Fedor, Cro Cop, Le Banner, Mark Hunt, Andy Hug etc etc)
Usually I don't watch same video several times. But not this time. Man, this guy is a weapons of mass destruction
His signature moves called "Ma-Deed-Ga-Lok" (Strummed horse) in ancient Muaythai table or Muaythai Bo-Ran. But not use in new generation Muaythai. Many fighters all around the world called "Cart wheels kick".
Joseph Vincent I gotta give up mad props I love your documentaries about the best of the best in all mma and boxing!
Hell yeah. I knew this was coming after you did the great piece on Buakaow!! Maybe we get one on Badr Hari? Or Rico Verhoeven??? Or how about Bas Rutten!!! Haha love the combat sports videos you do

Saenchai & Buakaw the true legends of the sport
Who would win tho ...
@@iamalegend5620 I've heard stories these two guys won't fight each other is that true?
@@Chron880 we will never know!! Since two are really good friends and sparring partners
@@Chron880 buakaw said That's my bro,I won't fight him. But they play together like kids🤣🤣
In turn, SuperBon said the same about Buakaw, the he won't fight his for he's a dear brother
They’re fighting soon bkfc
I love how the video concludes that Saenchai never lost. What a heck of a fighter, true GOAT.
Saenchai is poetry in motion you're lucky to even hit him before he crushes your soul...
Best sport documentaries on UA-cam hands down
Incredible video! I never heard of this guy and wow. Dude is like the matrix, PSY, and the OngBak movie wrapped in one. Dude was really going OngBak on all those fighters 😆. Thank you Joe!! NOBODY brings it home like Joe Vincent.
If not for this channel, i wouldn't know a thing about muay thai except from Bloodsport...respect to Joe Vincent for putting those of us not exposed or knowledgeable to the sport on game. These guys are true warriors...Props man. Need a video on Manson Gibson
A true legend in all of sports.
I don’t know shit about this sport but I do know this is beauty personified in this man’s gorgeous fighting style.
I'd like to see him fight Buakaw! I really like Buakaw, he's a one-of-a-kind athlete to me, he's one badass dude! This guy looks a lot like him with his fighting style.
sadly they are very good friend... they are both retired, but they do sparred together for fun. you can try to search that on UA-cam
@@micalalaland5914 Yes, I know they are good friends and they spar together, I've been watching them both for awhile now. There's videos I watched awhile back when they were acting all crazy, it was hilarious! They both are badass and they both have good personalities. But Buakaw isn't completely retired, he still fights here and there when he can.
American here, 42yrs young...this is a first me hearing of this warrior. I will do more research on him...what a fighter!
진정한 킹이네....놀랍다..주먹 팔꿈치 무릎 킥 뭐 모든 공격이 다 완벽...거기다 스피드까지..
the front kicks are so powerful. you can actually see it coming and it throws the opponents flying across the canvass! he also seems to know the reaches of the oppnents. when he dodges attacks, it is just one part of the body - upper body or lower, without another part moving an inch. 17:00 karate comes in play.
