Just wondering if you guys are hurting or doing better now that your prices are through the roof. Can get a lot of part online for a 5th of what you're charging. Guess it's nice for warranty stuff but I feel that doesn't justify 5x the price.
You are paying for connivence. Can you get the cheaper parts online to be delivered in the 15 minutes it takes to go to the store? Depending on what you are fixing, time is money. If you can’t finish the repair today, do you miss a day or work? Lose your job? Or if you are doing the repair for someone else, you may lose the business to a competitor. You also get their help, if needed - for what that’s worth.
Yes as you say, there are a lot of 3rd party parts out there where you can save a ton of money. But I can tell you from experience, it is always best to use the vehicle manufacturer's genuine parts. These were designed by engineers at the factory. I have had to remove 3rd party parts many times because they fail because they are not made to the correct geometry. Yes, the 3rd party looks OK but it is slightly off. This results in "binding" of the steering linkage and wearing out other good parts like a chain reaction. Then you are in the game for big money. Got my automotive education and degree at UTI 25 years ago. They told us to just use the genuine parts. ASE Master Tech Automobile and ASE Master Tech Med. Heavy Truck.
Pro Tip - Have the zip tie already on the tie rod/bellows, loosely fit. Once you get the tie rod where you want it, just pull the zip tie over and tighten it up. Idk the next time you'll be fiddling with tie rods, but if you remember to try this little trick, I hope it helps :) Saved me plenty of busted knuckles and countless zip tie fails lol.
What do you mean by rod shaft ? The language was not explained well and the video was too much on the guy than the car when it came to the inner tie rod
I like these informative channels but the problem with this one it did not tell you or show you every single step. Well it might’ve explained it but what we need is visual more visual on how to install the inner and remove it this was not a successful video in my personal opinion. Merry Christmas and remember the reason for the season is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ so repent and ask Jesus Christ to come into your heart so you don’t get left behind amen, I forgot to mention we are living in the end times of the world so repent and accept our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ into your heart.✝️✝️✝️🙏🏻🇺🇸

Thanx 👍

I managed to get a special weird doorman part for only $5 more than Amazon was charging, I was SHOCKED. $52 vs $57.

It looks easy, as long as you don't show putting the inside zip tie on the rack!! Lol
Yea... it would be nice if a certain auto part store store carried ear clamps.
