it’s a deep question so he returns to the basics - we have the source of creation within ourselves without actually noticing it, so just enjoy it, that is why he finishes his statement with- I can make you joyful within minutes, because he infers that we should just be part of life and appreciate that we are the result of intelligence we haven’t even grasped, yet, we are still part of the process even though we are ignorant of it. In short, what you can get out of his answer is that life happens to us, whether we notice it or not, whether we understand the intelligence necessary for us to be alive or not, so be joyful as a kid because it takes minutes, instead of as an adult, because it will take hours

So, it's better to experience those knowledge ourselves than just depending upon written texts. I didn't quite understand his answer, I thought he was going to say that it matters because knowledge lives on even if we don't. It has an impact, even if no individual could ever experience the entirety of it. If we didn't share knowledge, she may not have a bagel to enjoy for breakfast.

What he meant is We all have an inner intelligence within us that keeps working without our active consciousness, the girl doesnt know what she should focus on and make a goal and why she should do it when lifes short, Sadhguru says life itself is goal and within a few minutes you can experience inner joy thats the true meaning of life.

My friend went to see Sadh Guru years ago and she said it was a joke the way he appeared, like a magician in a cloud of smoke. But there are so many people lapping it all right up. I wonder what their deal is!
The answer is this, although the lessons learned by individual people will only last a lifetime the wisdom when shared will last generations bettering the lives of people who are not yet born.
There isn't a goal in life, to be really harmonious, peaceful and self contained within yourself. Just enjoy the ride, what life has to offer...We cannot control current events, all we can do is to float and steer... Happy Landings...Hahaa.
Such a clear question at such young age, I guess, we loose the clarity the girl had once we grow up. Sadguru took lot more time than usual, I think even he had to:)
The point is you pass on the skill of saving someone ( not just literally but both literally and spirituality/ morally) to someone else. That way the soul will die but the thought or the spirit will remain. And due to repeated practices through generation our honed skills will get perfected and might give rise to even newer knowledge which may be helpful for further discoveries. Individually we are finite and a single soul but together we're infinite, together we are THE ONE, the ultimate supreme, the SUPERSOUL ( Paramaatma)! That is the core message of Advaitism/ non-dualism, one of the core philosophies of Hinduism aka Sanatana Dharma.
Devotion is not for an individual being but for the whole society..whole generation. If saints from different religions were of the same mindset ..there would have been no religion…no spirituality…no direction/way of living your life…it would be chaos.

Respectfully he made this answer seem so complex to understand for a little girl. I mean maybe she understood because she was deep enough to ask a deep question. But wouldn't it be more easier to just say that the soul is eternal so the work never loses it's worth? ..
Sadguru’s main thing is to basically intellectualize some standard eastern spiritual concepts and regurgitate them in a way that makes white western people go ‘WOW!’
Best question ever comes from a child…perfect!! My question is the same. So much these “spiritualists” state the idea is to transcend ego. We transcend that when we die so why do we need to do it when we’re alive? We’re given it in this physical form for a reason NO? Also, fake foods such as bagels aren’t turning into humans, they’re destroying them…as is any “food” that isn’t FRUIT.
Ooooh that is wahahaha Sadhguru I was too engrosed with turning a bagel into a human being .. wow fantastic me!! Only to hear that last sentence Sadhguru !!!🤗😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
. Namaste! Living being as we know represents powerlessness against various things in the universe. So we needed a god to represent infinite power for consolation. Still, the concept God represents uncertainty and remoteness. But no one will ever be able to deny that something in the girl turned the bagel into the girl. That something represents certainty and immediacy. Ancient indian seers latched on to this amazing stuff and investigated this deeply, because it is immediate and certain, and worth investigation, without chasing after conjectures and inferences true or false. They discovered the unbelievable incredible fact that what you called god with the inherent problems of uncertainty and remoteness is nothing but you, with the reassurance of certainty and immediacy. Hence the great statement - That You Are. This is the GREAT RECONCILIATION of discarding uncertainty and remoteness and attaining certainty with immediacy. Namaste! .
He actually did not answer the question, he was just patronizing. Or he didn't understand her question. The little girl made a very very significant point that was totally overlooked.
So just to be clear, "the point" of teaching everyone something when everyone is going to die is that you can take a little girl and give her bagels til she becomes and unhappy adult. That there's some heckin wisdom.
@@s-nats bro how more clear could he have been lmao. first of all she asked him whats the point if we're all going to die anyway... he answered by saying what can be awakened within you can happen in a few minutes, basically in this lifetime..he used the bagel turning into a human being to describe how intelligent the body's mechanics are, so when this life you were given is streaming with intelligence, you just have to find access to that inner intelligence and "enlightenment" or self realization can happen to you as well.

Does either life matter in the grand scheme of the universe. ?
3 Answers to that Question. Yes , Yes & No.
Yes they mattered when they existed.
Yes they mattered to any offspring produced.
No, they do not matter when they've ceased to exist & all descendants & friends & relatives no longer exist.
We matter & then we don't.
@@Retired1967 you assume we cease to exist.
Physically perhaps, but then if you assume the destination of non existence is the same for all, you are fooling yourself in saying theres a difference in different paths and choices
From your point of view, The Destination is the same result NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO

This ia the most intelligent question i hv ever seen been asked to satguruji.

Can anybody explain to me wtf did he just say, asking for a friend

Me too!! I smiled so much
You understood what? I didn’t any, can you please elaborate on what he said?
2:40 explanation for me = mental blockages we create in our mind to not see the bigger picture
let me explain with 2 quotes:
"don't look at the finger poiting at the moon, look at the moon" -Bruce Lee
"in the sky, there's no distinction of East and West, the people make the disction in the lands and then they believe it to be true" -Buddha
or something like that :)
Honestly, I liked the little girl's question more than the guru's answer.
you surely didn't understood the answer Mr.
one of sadghurus greatest answers!
The answer brought tears to my eyes.
were you once a bagel?
lol
It’s an easy question.
Life is eternal. And goes on and on as we evolve (spiritually).
And evolving is the purpose of all life.
It’s our duty to spiritualise all matter.
It’s inevitable.
We get to choose whether to go through the steps on the path slowly or faster.
There you go.
I don't think that was the answer at all actually. In fact, there is no answer-- it's what we make it, so why not make it a good time/happy. Not sure how you pulled that other crap out of words that were never said lol, not to say it's not true, just not the answer to her question.
@@RagingBrohemoth4we believe it's to worship God. Worship means taking care of your loved ones, fulfilling your responsibilities as a human being, etc.

Sadguru, your answers are superb❤❤❤
I saw a guy doing documentary on eating meat with parasitic eggs, then show how they develop.... Poor guy wasn't enlightened enough to know he turned worms into a human. Also girl turned bagel into human DNA... This is a miracle actually.
His answers are always so evasive.
That they are. I feel he has wisdom to share, but his reach certainly exceeds his grasp at times. I'm sure most people are guilty of far worse crimes, even Sadhguru.
it’s a deep question so he returns to the basics - we have the source of creation within ourselves without actually noticing it, so just enjoy it, that is why he finishes his statement with- I can make you joyful within minutes, because he infers that we should just be part of life and appreciate that we are the result of intelligence we haven’t even grasped, yet, we are still part of the process even though we are ignorant of it. In short, what you can get out of his answer is that life happens to us, whether we notice it or not, whether we understand the intelligence necessary for us to be alive or not, so be joyful as a kid because it takes minutes, instead of as an adult, because it will take hours
@@vasilvasilev6225 source of creation is just beautyfull phrase but not any explanation. It's simply not related to question
@gniewomircioek6845 I think you might be new here. Look up some Ram dass or alan watts. We are all God, therefore the source of creation
Alan watts does say some interesting things. Ram dass is as evasive as this guru. 🤷♂️
Sadhguru asks at 1:12 of the video: What's your name?' Rabbi Tovia Singer from Outreach Orthodox Judaism.' Tovia Singer says to Sadhguru
I’m always amazed how he can make such a simple thing into such a complicated answer.
I think the opposite, how can he answer so difficult questions making it so easy to understand.
@@Jeed92what about his "answer" actually answered the question?
It's not about answering. The question itself comes from a place that isn't really sure. The point is to do regular sadhana and learn the truth about life @@MeettheMaker

So glad I found the “don’t show videos from this channel” setting
Evolution doesn't stop from one person dying.. So knowledge should always sown that will pass from one generation to another new.
There is a reason that philosophy and spiritual teachings were done differently at different ages.
Because kids are easier to brainwash than adults. Not saying the teacher is wrong in any way. Just saying that kids believe litterally whatever you tell them.
Can someone explain me how bagel is becoming a little girl ? Because from what I understand we just extract nutrients from the food and excrete out the useless.
Its like how car is using petrol or diesel. It wouldn't be correct if you say petrol is becoming a car right?
Just want to understand some context here.
They can store his knowledge in books, as we have done with everything we know and have seen so far 😊
Unfortunately every knowledge that has to do with the mental wellbeing is discarded as "Not that relevant" because it "doesn't exist in the physical world.
Well, much of India's knowledge were stored in the form of scriptures in the Nalanda University until Khilji decided to burn em off. So, it's better to experience those knowledge ourselves than just depending upon written texts. And his knowledge is already present in the vedas, it's just that there's very little people to explain them.
The little girl is closer to the truth since she is closer to the other side than the old man...although he is but from this side rather than the other side 😃. God bless her 😇
Wonderfully answered with truth-infused humor at the end 😉🙏🏻🧚♀️
A beautiful analogy! Thank you. 🙏
I didn't quite understand his answer, I thought he was going to say that it matters because knowledge lives on even if we don't. It has an impact, even if no individual could ever experience the entirety of it. If we didn't share knowledge, she may not have a bagel to enjoy for breakfast.
Yeah... he didn't really answer it.
@@DefeatLustyes he did….LISTEN
@@Aeneas-aojb No, I did. He didn't answer it. He started talking about how food becomes you, lmao.
@@DefeatLust sigh….have you perhaps thought about WHY he brought up the fact that food becomes the body? Firstly, he started off his response by saying very clearly that the little girl’s question is only relevant if it would take a thousand years (more than a lifetime) to teach what he’s trying to teach. THEN he brought up the fact that the intelligence within us is able to convert food into the body. Why? In order to demonstrate that what he’s trying to teach us is ALREADY PRESENT within us….he’s simply pointing us to a higher “dimension” of living that is already there. In other words, he’s trying to make us consciously aware of the intelligence and power already within us so that we can apply this awareness to our daily lives. Most people are simply ignorant of this higher “dimension” and they suffer as a consequence, but they can easily learn. This is why at the end of the video Sadhguru said that a person is able to learn these things in minutes or hours if they are willing.
@@Aeneas-aojb Ohhhh okay. Thank you 🙂👍🏽

What he meant is We all have an inner intelligence within us that keeps working without our active consciousness, the girl doesnt know what she should focus on and make a goal and why she should do it when lifes short, Sadhguru says life itself is goal and within a few minutes you can experience inner joy thats the true meaning of life.
Right, it exposed his charlatans ways, and the sheep in the audience laugh & applaud.

It's the classic, 'Yes or no?" This is a technique people in persuasion jobs like sales use.
My friend went to see Sadh Guru years ago and she said it was a joke the way he appeared, like a magician in a cloud of smoke. But there are so many people lapping it all right up. I wonder what their deal is!
I love that I can come to a comment section and find others that see through the smoke!! .. 😊
I resonate strongly with this. Thanks 🙏
The point is to learn how to live that short life in the most fulfilling way.
Love Love Love my Sadhguru❤❤❤
What I understood is, it does mean living forever BUT to live in quality
Is it correct guys
Huh? How did that answer the question? Whats the point in devoting your life to saving someone who will DIE anyway?

NO MATTER Whatever you ask him- you are NEVER going to get a straight answer, NEVER getting a simple answer. Because the QUESTION the girl asked is FAR Superior to the teachings. Excellent question- and the answer is there in the question itself. Because life is So Short, you need to be worried about worshipping GOD instead of following their whims and listening to fake enlightenment lectures
I can answer this in bagel terms too lol, whats the point of eating a bagel if u poop it out anyway ? Because its delicious, so can Life be. ❤
You poop out the wastage that you body doesn't need. Can you do that with you life too??? I think you know the answer.
Respectfully he made this answer seem so complex to understand for a little girl. I mean maybe she understood because she was deep enough to ask a deep question. But wouldn't it be more easier to just say that the soul is eternal so the work never loses it's worth? ..
when someone starts with "i dont want to be rude" usually they say something rude. child was probably coached. sadhgurus response was epic.
why, if he didn´t answer the true question "what do you want to do with the time you have here surely if you feel it’s not enough?"
Well in Hinduism there's a saying ,the childrens are the form of god themselves
So profound that he converted a child's existential question into a long-winded shit joke.

That little girl put you out of business. Guru. Mr know everything.
Sadguru’s main thing is to basically intellectualize some standard eastern spiritual concepts and regurgitate them in a way that makes white western people go ‘WOW!’
He certainly answers with a lot of dressed-up fluff.
Yea pretty much said what I have been thinking about him
Best question ever comes from a child…perfect!!
Ooooh that is wahahaha Sadhguru
I was too engrosed with turning a bagel into a human being .. wow fantastic me!! Only to hear that last sentence Sadhguru !!!🤗😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅

Namaste!
