I didn't even notice that, mind you I have een like whippets baws at this time of the morning....get a hot toddy down you that'll sort your cold out....🏴🥃🏴🥃
For fans of the Royal Oak, this could be a nice alternative and the size is good. It's extra important that the bracelet is good particularly with an integrated design. Looks like a decent job.👍👍👍
Not sure fans of the actual Royal Oak would consider this a meaningful alternative....this watch costs less than the price of one bracelet link on the AP, that’s the gulf in quality we’re talking about here.
@@dougm659 You could be right Doug. I admit to not being a fan of that watch design so I've never looked closely at it, but for people who do like it but can only afford one link of the bracelet of the real one, they might be OK with it.😁
Looks pretty decent, I got the original cadisen, not even the 42 but the bigggg one I've actually got pretty small wrists so for wrist shots it looks ridiculous but I'm a big guy so actually when you look at it from photos and stuff it doesn't look bad, could still see me getting this though and maybe giving the cadisen to a friend. Look forward to the review, any chance you could give the 'real' lug to lug from where the bracelet starts to drop?
I'll definitely pick up the real L2L, just so we all know where it stands. I had the bigger cadisen too and I'm not a bulky guy so it just wasn't for me haha!
Looking forward to the full review. Do like the 42mm Cadisoak mainly as it's got a ton of brushing whereas this (and the real AP) has a lot of polished surfaces. Pretty sure this is going to be a big seller for them though.
Thanks for the heads up & G'morning Jason 😀 . I'm liking that one more than the cadisen although the one thing I liked about the cadisen was it was almost a sterile dial with the cadison logo on it. I haven't had a Pagani in my collection yet and now that I pulled the trigger on a nice Bronze Watch I'll have to add this one to my bucket list
I've been wearing the HUGE Cadisen for the last few days... Today, I had a good look and the indices are off, none of them align with the opposite markers.
Nice watch! Would you be able to measure the bracelet width at its widest point, as well as the actual lug width of that integrated link in the middle? I've got a Casio EFS-S570D with a very similar integrated bracelet and I was wondering if this Pagani's bracelet can work on it as well. The Casio has a 26mm band width and 12mm lug.
Mi è arrivato da 3 giorni. Orologio stupendo, pensando a quanto è costato.
@@JasonTheWatchGuy - yeah, it looks like it. I have the Caddisen. But that’s huge (even though I have the “smaller” one). And the bracelet on the Caddisen is pretty rough. Still, a pretty nice watch for the $$$.
Great size, I have the cadisen 46, the only thing that puts me off is the dial texture, squares, brickwork really get to me, no idea why, if they come out with a standard dial then I'd seriously consider it....looking forward to the review....braw tag too boot, a nice Brucey bonus for the video....🏴⌚🏴⌚
I owned the Didun. The bracelet was terrible (links stuck, not moving), the dial had dust on it, the hands were not aligned correctly, the caseback had ugly marks, it was one of the worst watches I ever received. Now with Pagani I had some QC issues but not all of them with the same watch, and not so obvious ones. I stick with a bit more expensive for a little bit more quality.
It's a great looking piece, Jason, I'm just not a fan of the shiny brushed look personally. It would be nice if it was just plain brushed, but they've managed to make it really shiny lol. Look forward to your full review though :)
wait to order a PD Royal Oak, there will be a newer version, where the last link in the bracelet against the watch is not wider than the watch itself, a miss from PD that will be corrected soon.
You'd probably want to change the thumbnail and not use photoshopped images from pagani design. The actual product looked a bit different from that image, like the actual shape of the bezel.
Difficult to see how this seemingly innocent piece warrants such a hefty price tag. Be interested in your review. It reminds me of the Patek Nautilus. Not sure about the strap though!
@@JasonTheWatchGuy Good point! Both look great, although in my humble opinion the Royal Oak looks better proportioned. A side by side review is called for Jason.... !
I've seen the cadisons and this pagani I really like the 42mm from cadison this one idk I luke and I dont the brush or lack of as I can see bot alot or idk I just like this pagani alot less
Lol the AP Royal Oak did not get popularized by rappers, it was popular among the wealthy very soon after its release in the 70's. It became popular by its own right
I prefer the 42mm Cadisen Oak. The industrial look of the bracelet actually makes it very unique and the blue waffle dial looks more classy in my opinion.I don't think a Royal Oak omage should have so many polished surfaces. And on my wrist the 42mm looks perfect. Smaller would look tiny. Seiko NH35A, sapphire crystal 100m WR and costs around 60-70eur which is much cheaper then the Pagani.
PD WATCHES ARE MAKING OUR DREAM COMING TRUE ECONOMICALLY
The size is perfect, dial looks ok too. Pagani watches without a bezel are bang on
Less space for them to mess up then haha
Looks snazzy! Can't unsee the wider first link though, it's wider than it should be! Get some rest Jason, you look cream crackered!
I know, it's killing me at the moment! Hahaha, I'm feeling a little better now...its my own fault I'm a workaholic and combining that with a cold has done me in!

Everyone: copy
Watch enthusiasts: homage
this is a great watch, just received yesterday! 40mm and inverted mud links makes it wear very nicel...!!!
Agreed, wears much better than the cadisen

Good looking homage but between Cadisen and Didun I'm all good for Royal Oak look-alikes. Thanks for the review.
Thats fair enough! Thanks for watching 😁
I wish pagani design made this exact watch with a quartz movement
They have the chronograph version with a vk movement
Just have to justify buying this in my head, after getting the 42mm cadisoak last November sale. How does the bracelet compare between the two?
I like this bracelet more but the end links are an issue

I like how this one breaks up the brushing, theyve detailed it quite nicely
I love mine too, mind, went to bed without taking it off and woke up with chest lacerations from the bracelet!
Wrist size should always be written on display everytime a watch reviewer show it on the wrist

I've bought about 10 after my first Pagani...it can become quite addictive haha!
Hey there. Great vid. How’s this watching fairing up a few months later? I’ve read mixed reviews about the quality of the movements etc.
This one is still running well, still gets a good workout every now and then and doesn't let me down
I've been wearing the HUGE Cadisen for the last few days... Today, I had a good look and the indices are off, none of them align with the opposite markers.
Thats a killer, something you can never unsee
Regarding the size, i am curious to know what is your wrist size if you dont mind me asking :)
My wrist is 6.2 inches

Im not sure on the rest of the specs but it's a 13mm lug on this one
Good video mate. My Pagani Oak arrived this morning too so will be featuring it on my UA-cam channel very soon 😊👀
Very nice, I'll give it a look and see what your opinions are too
It’s a nice watch, but is it just me or is the bezel slightly too circular to look like an AP?
The bezel definitely is different but I think I like a little bit of a different look and not just a straight homage

Start doing San Martin watches! Or are you aware of any other companies that make homages have that high quality lume. :)
I know a couple but you're right, I do need to get a San Martin in
That’s a nice watch,Jason.
Love the dial.
Does it come in different colours? Look nice in Purple...
I believe its this blue, a black and white variant
@@JasonTheWatchGuy Thank you.
What's the dial size on this watch? Was thinking if the case can be used for modding with standard sized Seiko dials
I'm not too sure on the size

I think price is high. I bought Didun design before, that was around 60-70 dollars.
I'd agree at this point, Pagani have a tenancy of introducing pieces at a premium and then letting them steadily decline

Better to be 43mm
No, I think this size is much more wearable
