Thats the most honest youtube Pagani Design video i have seen. I ordered a Pagani Design PD 1673 yesterday before I saw your video & i thought it would be to what you said. Also because Im not going to ever buy an expensive watch I hopefully will get a good one. Obviously people who buy expensive watches do so because they can. I have always watched my money & I do believe in depreciation up until a certain age, so almost everything goes down in price, then what cicks with people over the years, they want what something they may have wanted when they were younger but couldnt aford to buy it & some of them by that stage can aford to pay for it. Something like a 1970 Holden HT GTS 350 Bathurst Monaro, or a XY 1970 GT Ford Falcon.

Ma786sai Dua truly this is an absolutely wonderful video. Have you seen the Pagani homage to the Royal Oak Chronograph? They come in 3 colour ways a panda, reverse panda and in blue all with the paved chequered AP dial. A lovely piece is the Chronograph homage.

That’s a delicious hot take. I like the royal oak, but it’s not some kind of holy unassailable design. People that aren’t Genta have designed great watches.
You can pick up the Casio Edifice (EFR-S108D-1AV) for about $120.00. Its not an exact copy of the AP Royal Oak but has similar features. Its cheaper than the Pagani and has more accurate time keeping with a quartz movement.
This is one of my favorite debate topics. I love hearing what people think about homage pieces. Personally it depends on the homage. For something that costs a few months of my income or more - it’s kinda fun to wear a lookalike. Same for homages to pieces long out of production. I draw my own line at homages to affordable (sub-$1000) current production pieces. I’m not buying a Pagani PRX or anything.
This particular watch has some differences to it. Pagani could have done the same bezel, bracelet, and crown. The bracelet is different. The crown is different. The bezel is different, it has 16 sides. It is an homage to the Royal Oak. I don't think this particular one is a one to one copy.

Screw down crown, yes. Screw pins, nope. Old school push pins. Which is better than pin n collar in my experience
I want same strap like original AP oak in pagani design, so is there any same model available in PD???
Not that I know of. The only AP style bracelets seem to be mod cases

It has taken me years of being a watch enthusiast, to truly appreciate (and desire!) a Royal Oak, and its homage here.

Its clearly not an exact homage though.. just very similar looking.

I checked my wallet, and to my surprise, I in fact did not find a spare $30k in there.
I too know that disappointment. Which is one of the many reasons I do not own an AP.
