For the Breeding center, a good rule of thumb that has literally never failed and this after getting 40 eggs continuosly. Put the 2 pokemon together at the breesing center, hop on the bike and go to the right until you get to the end of the bridge then turn around and head back into town. 1. You can avoid the soft lock by going into a Dynamax Raid, select 'search for others' then change the date and time. Then just cancel out and you'll be fine.
2:25 ive noticed that’s not 100% true. It’s when the leaves start falling out. (Little particles) is when the next shake will provoke battle. Also I recommend zooming out.
I really wasn't sure I was gonna like the new Dynamax system, but the first Pokémon I did it to was Arkanine and I was overjoyed when I realized he was basically Clifford The Big Red Dog. Now I'm okay with the system.
Fyi with the trees when you shake it enough to make it shake sporadically you can shake it 1 more time before being attacked, but thats it dont shake again.
Something I only found out very recently, more on the competetive side of things, is that dynamaxing nullifies choice items, so if you use trick on a pokemon to choice it into a particular move, they can just Dynamax and nullify what you just did. Reeeeeeally wish I knew that going into battles
The feathers from black and white are in the game, so that is free farming. They also made the ev reduction berries really easy to find. With those and the new EV consumable lock removal and chart view, they really made it easy for ev trainers.

If you want to over level (Make your pokemon stronger than you're allowed to catch) make sure the pokemon REALLY likes you, or they will stop listening to you in battle.
You actually can finish poke jobs fast. All you have to do is put a wishing piece into a well and go onto invite people, and change time. After leave and pick up your pokemon. Tip 1: Don't get excited if your pokeball shakes for a critical capture, it can still fail...It's happened to me at least 2 times...I was heartbroken. Tip 2: Tree shaking, as you're shaking the berry trees, look for it shaking loose leaves, once you see that, you potentially have one more shake left before those mooching tree rats show up. Tip 3: As you find treasures/rare items, save at least one in your bag and visit Stow-in-side market once a day, the man at the stall on the left will be in search of one item in particular and he will pay extra for it. Also check in with his friend to the right to see what special item he's selling that day for 3,000, Fun fact: if you have a limited edition switch (e.g. Animal Crossing theme/colored) the switch in your character's bedroom will have the same color!
They aren't always there, but if you can find the Watts Trader selling Luxury Balls, you can sell them for 1500 each at the center. They only cost 100 Watts each, so they can get you a lot of Poke Dollars very fast. If they aren't trading them though, you would have to either time jump or wait till their items reshuffle.

Thanks for the tips! This is my first pokemon game since Emerald and didn't know how EVs worked at all. I thought it was a totally meta game mechanic you couldn't track from in-game so I never bothered looking into it because I thought it was totally based around breeding. The egg tips were super helpful as well. I'm wondering if the nursery levels up the pokemon you leave like the daycare in previous games because none of mine appear to be leveling up yet.
I'm still learning all the new ways to do things since I started with the older games years ago. I usually end up with a solid party but I'm having trouble deciding which pokemon I like best.
Another tip: there are items everywhere in the wild area, they spawn randomly and at a pretty good rate. There's even some places in the wild area where you can get specific items every day (this is a good one for getting evolution stones)
To get money fast, go to the guy next to the merchant in Stow and Side and he’ll buy special items from you for WAY more than the pokeshops will. In my experience, he asks for pearl strings a lot, which is common to find around lakes in the wild area or from the fishing lady. The shops buy it for 10,000 and the merchant guy buys it for around 30,000. Dont get too hung up on it though if it isn’t an easy find, he refreshes daily.
Quick balls are an absolute godsend when catching Pokémon, you can buy them from the town centre Pokémon centre in wyndon, also the catching charm in hotel Ionia is very helpful, get way more crit captures

besides flame body the abilities magma armor and steam engine both hatch eggs faster so rolycoly can have steam engine and if it doesn't then all you need to do is evolve it at level 18 and heatproof turns into flame body, both carkol and coalossal will always hatch eggs faster as long as they don't have their hidden ability
So I was upgrading my bike before first gym because I thought those upgrades was how I'd eventually get to go over water. Nope, but honestly the speed boost was nice and it seemed a lot of ppl didn't have it then (still don't idt) so it was nice to just out-zoom them!
I've found around 9pm the wild area turns to night, no matter if your still in the initial game or not. It's funny because I'll go into the wild area to evolve my night pokemon, and then go back out to continue the story and the towns are all bathed in sunlight lol
Dude. The Pokémon Ditto is pronounced: _"Dih-toe"._ The name Ditto is based on the English word "Ditto" which means something like 'Repeat again' or 'The same thing again'. Hence, the Pokémon Ditto transforms into 'the same thing' it happens to be battling.
-Sure it's not regional, too with the all single weather? Because I recently got a day that was fog everywhere. -Managed to figure out the berry trees myself fairly early on. Got quite a supply going. -Steam Engine and Magma Armor help hatch eggs, too. -For sellable items, I just pick them up off the ground. If you search around trees, flowers, rocks corners and the edges of water, you can get quite a haul if you're thorough. Yes, I also use the Digging Duo, and you can get some in raid battles.
Certain rare spawns only show up every 24 hours. Even if you spoof the date and time, if a full day hasn't actually passed, those rare spawns won't show up until the next day. I learned this when I tried to catch all the eeveelutions for my pokedex.

Earliest flame body pokemon you can get is Vulpix. They are common in the overworld on the same route you can get Sizzlipede. Vulpix only come with flame body, making this tool a ridiculously easy acquisition. Also, you need a flame body pokemon in the lead spot of your party to bait out Sizzlipede encounters. They can be fainted and still bait these fire bugs out just as long as they lead your party. Friendship evolutions are made easier with cooking. No more need to grind out tedious battles. Camping also gives massive exp rewards to your pokemon if you talk to them, play with them and feed them. The pokemon in the lead position will gain double or more experience than the others if you spend the same amount of individual time and effort on each pokemon in your party. 3rd and 2nd rank curries are easy to make on your own. 3rd rank requiring a cheap ingredient and about 6 berries and 2nd rank requiring an expensive ingredient and 6 or more berries depending on how many rare berries you use. 1st rank curries require a team of other players or NPCs and the result boils down to RNG. So, don't sweat getting the perfect curry every time because the game is coded to cheat you out of a perfect score no matter how right you nail every step.
Vulpix doesn't come with the flame body ability, it has flash fire which doesn't help hatching faster, only flame body - steam engine - magma armor do.

it may seem like common sense but i actually didnt figure this out until trying to breed a male eevee and a female vulpix and getting a vulpix instead of an eevee. i dont know why i didn't figure that basic biology carried over. haha.
The pokeball x button has been available since sun and moon I believe.
in sun and moon it is the y button instead 😊
its been a bit but i think there was an easy ball button in X and Y too. Using that fancy shmancy touchscreen.
Whhaaattt??? How did I miss this?! Then again i know most of my friends did too
Removed in let’s go tho...
I don’t have Pokémon sword or shield at the moment. Yet, here I am.
Same just watching the videos and have no idea why lol
Me at the moment!! 😅
Also the door next door to the room where you get that egg charm has a guy that gives you a catching charm.
No
It's a shiny charm when pokedex is done
U should visit Stow on side each day as u can sell an item there at higher price then shops
The X pokeball selection thing, omg. THANK you! Just something you don't really notice.
I am a casual player that is currently about 3/4th the way through the game. I can't imagine how someone makes a better video than this. So helpful and especially direct which is what I'm looking for. Appreciate the effort and quality of this video!
Thanks for that comment, love to read them! 👍🏻
This is my first time playing a Pokémon game since Pokémon yellow.... it’s a lot different now hah
Lmao yellow is so much better
Haven’t played since black and white and I totally agree... a lot has changed
@@xPangu did you by end up playing? If so did you enjoy it?
@@leoking9914 I did. I’ve sunk about 130 hours in so far. Played through the story and expansion pass (loved crown tundra btw). I notice HMs were gone so that was dope as I hated HMs and I saw that your first Pokémon in the party follows you in the overworld. So dope 👏🏼. I could go on and on but basically I love the game long story short
X and y are better. This game is ok but imo most of the pokemon selection sucks. Like who wans a coal cart, a buttface skunk, or a garbage pile?
Another big tip: catch the Slizzlipede at the gym!! 1% chance to catch it in the wild
Having a Pokémon with Flash Fire at the front of your party increases your chance in the wild. I was looking a decent nature for Slizzlipede and keep getting encounters with my Growlithe.
Wait I didn’t know that the wild slizzlipede I caught was so rare
@@DerrickMrThomas you’ll know when you see it 😉
@@lennondorsey5369 it’s not rare it’s just since the catch rate is so low you waste a lot of poke balls so your better off catching the one that spawns in the gym not going to say which gym because of the guy that’s new

Online clocks
the membership is regulated by the company, so it has its own clock, like the person said above me, an online clock. the system clock can be fucked around with so it doesnt affect your membership.

I've found that doing raids I. The wild area as soon as possible, gets you early access to level up items. You'll be strong enough to do some at level 20. If you want to over level (Make your pokemon stronger than you're allowed to catch) make sure the pokemon REALLY likes you, or they will stop listening to you in battle.
When you change the date while you have jobs on in the poke Center they will never end
And you cant begin the same job again
You actually can finish poke jobs fast. All you have to do is put a wishing piece into a well and go onto invite people, and change time. After leave and pick up your pokemon. I use it alot for iv training plus I stack up on a ton of watts since it resets too. It doesn't work with game made well, it has to be your own piece
I think there should be videos on this technique since people use it alot for farming watts or for resetting wells for a specific pokemon or star
@@Pineson14 there is a better way, switch internet on then start a ranked vs match and leave while spamming B and voilà you can change the time anywhere anytime as long as you have internet on and dont use any connected features
@@elpaloma4177 ya saw that hack. Posted hours after I commented but just incase people don't have wifi pass this still works too
Tip 1: Don't get excited if your pokeball shakes for a critical capture, it can still fail...It's happened to me at least 2 times...I was heartbroken.
Also check in with his friend to the right to see what special item he's selling that day for 3,000,
Fun fact: if you have a limited edition switch (e.g.
Okay, so I didn’t know that the spinning move thing evolved a pokemon at all. I just found it amusing 😂😂
Rebecky Ev Its really weird, but its mainly for evolving Milcery into Alcremie, since shes a whipped cream pokemon. youre 'whipping' Milcery into Alcremie. its neat. Alcremie has 63 variants in color and design based off of when and how long and what direction you spin. its so weird. but cool.
forgot to mention that its also based on that type of sweet Milcery is holding when you do it*
@@kittyc0n Don't forget the Shiny variations too. I only need one more Shiny :)
That's why I never understood when I watch UA-cam players go to their bag to throw the ball

I'm still learning all the new ways to do things since I started with the older games years ago. I usually end up with a solid party but I'm having trouble deciding which pokemon I like best.
I’m coming back from a long hiatus...FireRed and LeafGreen...Im so lost but excited at the same time xD
Cosmetologeek dang those are old classics!
Beastmode7400 Dude I am old...I started on Red and Blue for the old school gameboy when 180 was the max....What even are these pokemon?!!!!
Cosmetologeek yea I started on red aswell and played most pokemon except the last three and there is way more Pokémon then the 400 I know haha
Got damn! 😱😂
@@cici39177 started with Silver for me... in the late 90s.
God, Pokemon, stop making me feel old. I'm not even 30 yet, for crying out loud
Another tip: there are items everywhere in the wild area, they spawn randomly and at a pretty good rate. There's even some places in the wild area where you can get specific items every day (this is a good one for getting evolution stones)
If it starts shaking alot, I think you can do it one more time and you'll be safe
You *earned* my like and sub. Thank you for the concise information.
8:08 i think a lot people still go to their bags to capture pokemon lol
it's like muscle memory by now
At least the bag doesn't run out of room anymore. I'm also replaying yellow so it makes you appreciate the little improvements.
1:04 It was a BIG mistake to change time to 2020
Quick balls are an absolute godsend when catching Pokémon, you can buy them from the town centre Pokémon centre in wyndon, also the catching charm in hotel Ionia is very helpful, get way more crit captures

Pokemon with the ability Magma Armor and Steam Engine are also just as effective as Flame Body for speeding up hatching times
besides flame body the abilities magma armor and steam engine both hatch eggs faster so rolycoly can have steam engine and if it doesn't then all you need to do is evolve it at level 18 and heatproof turns into flame body, both carkol and coalossal will always hatch eggs faster as long as they don't have their hidden ability
i was actually running rolycoly in my main party and had no idea it was helping with eggs.
How is it you say “deetoh” but also say “vye-tuh-min?”
Americanisation
That is a die-ffe-rent example
You know, I actually did learn something new watching this. I had no idea that some people pronounce Ditto as “DEE-TOH”
I already knew these tips, but it was a good and uncomplicated summary
So I was upgrading my bike before first gym because I thought those upgrades was how I'd eventually get to go over water. Nope, but honestly the speed boost was nice and it seemed a lot of ppl didn't have it then (still don't idt) so it was nice to just out-zoom them!
I've found around 9pm the wild area turns to night, no matter if your still in the initial game or not. It's funny because I'll go into the wild area to evolve my night pokemon, and then go back out to continue the story and the towns are all bathed in sunlight lol
Did you know that you can find leftovers from shaking a tree
Solid video, my man! There were several things I didn’t know, much thanks!

Not sure if this has been said but, while online, if you run into another player and click A they usually give you something.
Addition, if they're next to a den and looking around, it'll just tell you that they're looking for players and not give you an item
Just to clarify, you only need to press b for the bike speed boost, not hold it
Certain rare spawns only show up every 24 hours. Even if you spoof the date and time, if a full day hasn't actually passed, those rare spawns won't show up until the next day. I learned this when I tried to catch all the eeveelutions for my pokedex.
Tbh breeding would be faster ^^
@@narutogmbh I just traded the eeveelutions i didnt have with a friend. We were trying to finish it up quick and even with the camp and play feature, I didn't feel like befriending 3 eevees and evolving them for Umbreon, Sylveon and Espeon.

Awesome video, helped me a lot!
Equip a 'luck insence' on a Pokémon and you'll get double money per battle !
The totally broken watts for luxury balls exchange rate will make you make money faster.
Boris The Soviet Love-Hammer but how do you farm for alot of watts?
Give it to G-Max MG Meowth and you will make near 6 figures per Raid.
@@iAMNinjaDarkovia bruh there's like 50 way lmao how do you not know
For money farming, I farmed magikarp raids. They drop a ton of nuggets and big nuggets which sell for a lot, and it drops them every time. 5star magikarp raids will net you several rare candies, and about 25,000-50,000 in nuggets.
Hidden items like pearls and star pieces and rare bones respawn every day
Also on Axew’s Eye you can get a free rare candy every day on the 3 rocks formed like a triangle on the edge where the tall grass is “sparkle spot”
Ooh. I didn't know about that extra shiny hatching trick, though that does explain why I got a shiny Spinerak when I was breeding a Japanese Ariados in Ultra Moon by wonder trade despite it literally being my first bred Pokemon in the whole game at the time

@@novafiregalaxy204 actually region matters a little in the sense that if you are in America you can't use a Pokemon from England to do the method

Can anyone answer this? He said if you have say a ditto from a different country for breeding you have a higher chance at getting a shiny. Commie Yep. The auto generated captions are garbage. Proper captions are so important.
After you beat the game, the best way to make money IMO is to get the gift G-Max Meowth to level 100, give it an amulet coin, and redo the tournament in Wyndon. You will get between 100k-120k per battle in the tournament if you use G-Max Gold Rush (Meowth's G-Max normal move). This will net you between 300k-360k per tournament depending on who you battle. Bring Leon or Hop as they give the most money.
