Honestly, I’d like a testing basics of sustainable undergarments. It doesn’t have to be a regular “this is how I’m wearing it” testing basics, but I’m so confused on where to begin that I’m hoping someone else would have already started this journey.
I never comment here but I must say that I love this natural vlogging content, always happy when I get the notification, keep up with the good content :)
LOVED the vlog lizzy but frankly I’m very annoyed you didn’t share your jacket potato topping of choice. Was it cheese or beans? Did coleslaw feature? I need answers.
Just wanted to sympathize with your skin being a bit "off." Have you tried stopping your skincare regime altogether? I did this recently because I was breaking out more than normal, and I read a few articles about people who gave up using any skincare and it improved their skin massively. Sometimes our skin just needs to breathe, and when we keep putting more product on, it doesn't get a chance to heal naturally, and the dead skin cells get trapped under serums/lotions, etc. At the moment, I'm only using a bland cleanser (CeraVe) and I only use a teeny tiny bit of lotion if absolutely necessary (but I avoid it if I can). I'm honestly amazed at what it's done for my skin. I just have a sneaking suspicion that these skincare brands are just trying to make us feel inadequate and that our skin acts up because we don't have the correct regimen or we aren't using the magic ingredient, but I think our skin just needs to breathe a little! Maybe using a product once or twice a week can be okay, but taking a break from skincare has not only improved my skin, it also has me obsessing way less/prevents me from over-researching (and overspending on) products and so on. Lastly, I just want to say, if your skin is acting up, it doesn't mean you're failing in some way. I think we put a lot of pressure on ourselves/think we're not up to par when our skin doesn't respond, no matter how hard we're trying. But we aren't failures. Not sure if this helps, but maybe it will be useful for someone. x
This! This just happened to me last year, my skin was freaking out for months and I would get pimples all the time - just two or three at a time but big, red, angry ones. I tried all the products and nothing changed (for the better), so I went looking for a book to read on skin. I read 'Beyond Soap: The Real Truth about What You Are Doing to Your Skin and How to Fix It for a Beautiful, Healthy Glow' and ended up switching all my products for the La Roche Posay Toleriane face wash and moisturizer. In one month, my skin as normal and I could not believe it. I never came back to the old routine: in the morning I wash my face with water, put moisturizer and sunscreen and I'm ready, in the evening I use an oil cleanser, then the LRP one and the moisturizer again. Sometimes I do a clay mask, and besides the hormonal spot when I'm on my period, my kin is fine, and I'm still amazed!

I totally understand being scared! I think Cristiana's recommendation is useful, though... you can try committing to a week and then you can always change your mind. It's only a permanent switch if you want it to be :). I'm also using an exfoliant maybe once a week now, too! I kind of think that's all my skin needs... space to heal/allow for cell turnover and the occasional exfoliator to help in the process. Good luck if you give it a go!
I once read that Jodie Comers facialist recommends 2 days a week of not applying anything after washing your face and have to say my skin really loves this. I don't have skin like Jodie Comer yet though 😂

Full scale authenticity helps us really ride the highs when you feel them and you really are greatly a success story. Here’s an offer of a potentially useless but full of thoughtfulness recommendation to get you back feeling confident & at peace - I would take myself somewhere warm and sunny and pick a little bit of a bold outfit that is so me and strut around feeling risky and free. I loved when you wore those insane blue velvet balenciaga boots. You pulled them off so well, they made a head turn and were so fun. Have fun xx

No need to thank me but what you must do is put the crumpet back in the toaster after you have buttered and marmited it, on the lowest setting so it doesn’t burn but does caramelise. You’ll outgrow all your clothes cos of this crack but you won’t care, it’s that good.

Try to completely not use skinscare and if you can makeup except really light ones and cleanser and lotion that you know that work and then add mosturizer if you have dry skin. You could also take an allergy test and see if you maybe are even just slightly intollerant to some food which may cause bad skin. The jeans look good to me btw!
i don’t know if you know this but if you do please ignore. hyaluronic acid works best when applied to damp skin because it will actually do the opposite of applied to dry skin. and you want to immediately moisturise to seal it all in
On the hunt for a great oversized wool blazer and u are my go to when it comes to reviews of clothing pieces, especially where to invest etc. Bought my all saints leatherjacket last year because of a testing basics you did years ago, that was when I found your channel. And I looove it, so def. trust your opinion. :) but an oversized wool blazer testing basics would be 👌🏻👌🏻

I know it sounds gross, but I switched to using a menstrual cup & it’s CHANGED periods for me. Don’t even know I’m on it now. It feels like any other day, really changed my mood. I recommend!
