I will always seek a natural remedy over pharma drugs.
Can you talk about how to get the right and safe kind of honey for your dog? I was told that if it’s unpasteurized or raw, that if it has a certain bacteria in it, dogs don’t have the enzymes to break it down and it can cause a problem. I eat raw local honey myself,I just want to get the cleanest and safest possible for him.
What about giving it to a cat??
Honey is truly nature's wonder food. Just make sure it's pure honey from beekeepers or health stores.
A lot of Supermarket ones have been blended though they say pure honey
COULD YOU PLEASE DO MORE INFORMATION ON CATS?????
Can you talk about Olive Leaf Extract drops to use for dogs? And all of the benefits of Olive Leaf Extract Oil or etc! Thanks
This really is. I use honey on my dog for trachea collapse. Works amazing. Thank you soooo much doctor!
Awesome
@@VeterinarySecrets What about cats ? With such a small pancreas can the honey trigger diabetes ?
My dog has the trachea collapse! What kind of honey do I use?
@@majeanmestas3318 I use makuka honey
Oh, I'm going to try it. My little Lhasa Apso suffers from that. But, he doesn't like anything sweet so I'll be giving it to him with a syringe in his mouth.
Can I give this to my cat?
Can this be done in conjunction with antibiotics?
Thank you so much for doing these videos. I have a notebook that I write down things like this for the hard times ahead. God bless you! :)
Thanks
I've found that Manuka honey with a K factor over 15 is super duper effective. My dog had a chronic sinus condition and the manuka honey got rid of it in 2 weeks. Thanks Doc!!
Honey is a great natural remedy. Thank you much
Thank you Dr, my dog just had that happening.... I truly appreciate you... 🙂
Did it help it?
Is it also safe to use in cats? My cats keeps on getting coughs. What natural remedies can be used? Also pls feature cat remedies as well. Thank you Doc.💕

Thanks for all your tips Dr. Jones! For diabetic dogs prone to UTI’s, would the honey still be a good option? Honey versus Meropenem

Does pasteurized honey work?
yes it will still help
Honey Gods wonder therapy for both animals and humans🙏.. Be kind to bees 🐝
Can we use Minooka honey?
Does this work on cats as well....ive seen this question all through the comments but no answer???
Thanks my dogs been out of it, she ate the honey right away!! Gave her raw organic honey, it tastes so good, I had some of her honey🥰🥰
does it have to be local raw? Or just any honey?
Do you have any recommendations for RCCL in a dogs right rear elbow? This guy is great. Thank you
Thank you Doc. Have a great Day.
Can it be used for bacterial skin infection?
Can try pure organic cold pressed honey... It's great for humans for coldsores, insect bites, styes etc. As long as it's not somewhere the dog will lick over and over. They like the taste...
Also colloidal silver... Natural antibiotic...
I used it in my dogs eyes for eye infection.
If the skin isn't broken, look into organic apple cider vinegar, diluted down. Remember it Will sting on broken skin though.
If you can't find other help, worth investigating for yourself first though...
Blessings 🙏🏻
try castor oil
Medical-grade Manuka honey, or regular honey? What about a senior dog (16 years old) who has degenerative myelopathy and has to take Denamarin to manage high liver enzymes? There's sugar in honey. Recommend or not recommend?
Thank you
I just learned something new! Thank you!
Thanks a lot
My dog is a lil over 5 lbs do I give half a teaspoon then??
Thank you God bless
Thank you ❤ is there a specific kind or brand or just any honey???
Does this work for cats also?
I have a question Doctor,
I've been using Em-1 homemade ( organic milk mix with 5-6 day old rice rinse water shake it up and let the whole concoction ferment and separate for 5 or 6 more days, then I take the clear solution that separated from the curd and mix it with equal parts molasses = lactobacillus effective microbe's Prebiotic probiotic mother culture solution, for an extra microbial kick sometime I pour kefir in the milk mixed we the wild Rice rinse water then I let it do its thang = but magic) I've been giving this to my in house dogs for years.
What I notice is before I gave it to them their bowels were unstable sometimes dry sometimes hard sometimes wet etc,,
Ever since I've been using it I noticed consistency with their bowels ( always very healthy now) I also noticed their body odor and breath changed, they tone down 80% ( 75% less tear stains, it's like it stopped) my Maltese stop having skin irritation issues/ dry patches, all those spots healed up and the hair came back in full snow whiteness ,,,,
With my Bully seems to help with his flagellants and ear issues ( I noticed his insides don't smell so rotten like garbage and old cabbage now after Em-1 effective microbe solution).
Maybe once or twice a week I give them black seed oil too,,
I noticed they don't shed as much now and their eyes are super pearly white when you look at them( seems like my bully put on more muscle 🤷♂️) seem to help my Bully breathing = less coughing and wheezing, it sounds way more clear and less obstructed or nasally when he works out or eat ( no more hair ball coughing and wheezing fits neither ) .
My Maltese would get a limp when it gets cold that went away after black seed oil🤷♂️ ( a friend of mine suggested it, his Shih Tzu has hip problems accompanied by knee inflammation /pain that went away after the black seed oil daily and CBD 2 uh week treatments) ,
The vet didn't even believe my Maltese was a senior at 13 years old
She looks too good and her Mobility is to frisky ( Zero tear stains) but she does eat salads vegetables, fruit, she always steals the children's Flintstone vitamins or they give them to her 😂, she sleeps on a orthopedic bed etc etc on a regular ( my bully is a Protein/Fat Junkie, he loves his raw lean hamburgers with a hit of Lea and Perrin Worcestershire sauce Worcestershire sauce with just meat cheese & bread 😂. He loves bananas, peanut butter, any-meat, fish beans Some potato's especially if they're baked in beef or chicken broth, hugs and naps while watching TV with his Dad/Me🤣 ) one of my bully favorite treats is my leftover Fruity Pebbles cereal milk😂 ( I used to hate the gas that came after it but the EM1 seems to eliminate that🤷♂️) I'll take a spoon and dip it into the EM1 solution then swirl it around in this water or I'll take my finger submerged a digit then wipe it on their tongue ( the black seed oil I only put a few drops on the tongue, my bully likes to flavor of it now ), I use the authentic cold press black seed oil it almost looks like molasses and it has a Pine Oak Wood taste in it if interested I could tell you where to get it( it's from a old old California Los Angeles Jamaican herb spot I think it's called Taj Mahal on Crenshaw and 50 something) ✌ .
DOC TELL ME IF IM DOING SOMETHING WRONG

Coco saying thanks to you❤
My pooches love honey, I'm giving it to them regularly 🙂
what about ear infections
Ty .is it regular honey or dark?.
Please could you link the study which talks about the honey being better than an antibiotic.
Was the honey used in this study as a systemic thing, like you’re saying or topical? As I’ve only ever seen evidence that it’s good to use topically
Does anybody know if honey will work for a bad tooth abscess on a dog? I'm going to try it on my dog to see how it works
What about for cats
Does the brand of honey matter for uti
Im scared to give him new things what if he is allergic to it ? And if so how would i know ? I dont have enough to take him to the vet
Can I stop eamoxicillin and start this? Or should I finish amoxi? He had a UTI... 13 years old dog male
Natural remedies are better than antibiotics every vet should have suggest remedies first before reaching for medication
1 tsp for a 8 lb dog..what kind of honey for uti
Honey is antimicrobial not an antibiotic.
Same as silver.
It’s both.
Antimicrobials is a term that includes agents that act against microorganisms, specifically bacteria, fungi, viruses and protozoa. So the main difference is that "antimicrobial" has a broader meaning that antibiotic which just acts against bacteria.
What about cats?
Will honey help with allergies?
Yes, but in order to help with allergies the best, the honey needs to be locally harvested bc the bees r pollinating the flora in ur area which is what ur pets r exposed to. We buy our locally harvested honey from the local farmer’s market or the health food store which the guy who sells the honey at the farmer’s market also sells to. We give our dogs honey in their breakfast every morning on the advice of our vet.
@@loricawley54 thank you for the info!

Yes raw.
What can you suggest for a dog losing most of his fur but not on his legs ? Shish Tzu sge 13 yrs
I would wonder about Cushings disease- best to first see your vet

Hello, I just found your channel. How about for kennel cough? I rescued a dog last week they have her on doxy she's a mess walking into walls, eyes half open. I took her off the meds she's a completely different dog. I'm afraid if I don't finish the meds what will happen? She's been off them for 3 days.
Slippery elm and honey!

Hey Dr. Is it safe to give human grade amoxicillin to dogs?
Can try colloidal silver if not 🙏🏻
There is no “human grade” to medications. All medications are the same “grade”. In fact a lot of the medications given to animals are the exact ones used on humans. The only difference is some animal medication has been specifically licensed for animal use, and comes I’d doses in the right size for animals too. However. Saying all that, I would never give antibiotics to an animal without a vet saying they need it. Not only could you overdose them, but also under dosage is just as bad as it can lead to antibiotic resistance and a much worse infection.
Isn't this the neighbors dog?? .. can you hear them like has anyone seen the pup ??? ...He's on the Dr Jones show again
What about for cats all of these videos are for dogs? 🤔
Thanks Doc!!!!!
