I would play your intro music on a loop if I could! Absolutely love it.
I really really really would love someone to deep dive into an unsolved serial case, the New Bedford Highway Killer. I don’t know if they even have anything as far as DNA profiles anymore or if they are actively doing anything with the case, but it could be a LISK type scenario. Especially since he has an address listed about half an hour from the crime spree at the time and would’ve been in his early 20s at the time. If it’s NOT LISK, it’s someone much like him.
Interesting…well take a look. Thanks for the tip!
@@szematowicz thank you!!! Some of those women have children my age and I can’t imagine being around 40, raising children without my mother’s guidance, and having no answers for what happened to her and who was responsible.
Dang I am sad I missed this. I would ask what the think of the timeline and time of death.
The State only has to show the minimum and that's all they do. They definitely have the evidence that will show he's guilty. In my opinion his lawyers know they have the evidence obviously. I think there's definitely a connection to someone else to because he had to the girls were gonna be there at that time.

This stream turned me into a Barbra fan ❤ Not that I was a hater before 😘

How could I miss this live! I’ve been waiting forever for this update 😢
Me too. And I missed it! Ugh
Amazing!

Thanks for checking it out, was a privilege to be with Dan and Barb on Bob's show!
I was working so very much looking forward to the replay!
Fantastic discussion!! I love hearing all sides of a case discussed intelligently. It's one of the things that drew me to DD and keeps me coming back. There's no shame in exploring a theory.. getting to a dead end, relooking at the evidence, and even being wrong. We literally have no skin in the game or impact on the trial. We have the greatest justice system on the planet, but we can't take it for granted. I've said it many times and I'll say it again. I've learned what the presumption of innocence means from ya'll, and it has opened up a whole world for me. I'm more compassionate and open minded. I didn't know I needed to work on that but I am and it's impacted me and my life in the best ways. I'm no blowing smoke up your ass but can't thank you enough for sharing your knowledge.
I couldn’t have written it better myself. I find myself being a more critical thinker and learning so much about what it means to be a (good) citizen of this country because of the information I’ve learned from DD.
I loved your thoughts bc they so eloquently capture how I feel
@@hammy74929 Thank you! 🫂
I couldn’t agree more. Bob has opened my eyes to what defense lawyers do. Support the Constitution. No prosecution should be brought without certainty. And even then the other side is due a defense. Too many wrongful convictions.
Such a wonderful breath of fresh air to listen to like-minded intelligent people who fully support the US Constitution and understand due process! At times, the dissenters want you to think you’re the crazy ones. Thank God for knowledge, discernment and intellect. Thank you so much for your thoughtful discussion! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Great show, Thank you Bob and panel ⚖
It's almost impossible to imagine RL not being involved to some degree. Just doesn't compute. I think at the VERY least he was hanging out with a perp that day, who later threw on his dented hat before heading to the trails. If RL wasn't directly involved, he still knew what happened that day and who was involved.
It’s law enforcement protecting law enforcement. I think it was a prison guards with police practicing odinism. Ron Logan was scared of them. I think he knew who was involved or saw someone or something that he didn’t want to poke his nose into because he was scared they’d pin it on him (since in LE)
Fabulous show, Bob! Enjoyed listening to all your guests very much! Thank you!
Great show guys! Immediately went and watched the first two episodes of Deviant and I'm hooked!
Thanks Jessica! We're glad you like the show. Ep 3 out now!
Just subscribed to the deviant podcast, looking forward to hearing it!
Thanks Mike! We hope you're into it after you listen.
Replay crew after watching live with Bill ♡
Replay crew. As always, you bring facts while at the same time including various perspectives. Keep it up!
I agree. Bob - it's a thing. Lots of things out there. Also, I agree about false confessions. :) Thank you, Bob, for raising awareness about this case for all victims. ❤ and the great Panel.
Awesome as always!
Thanks again!
Great show! Thanks so much Bob and I always enjoy hearing Barbara and her wisdom.
For the DEVIANT folks, PLEASE cover the West Mesa Bone Collector.
I’ve been following the case for years and it’s so much like LISK before they arrested Rex: 2009 remains were first found in New Mexico when someone was walking their dog, which led to uncovering the remains of multiple people all buried next to each other and linked to sex work (9 women, 2 girls, and one baby). The case needs so much more coverage and the victims and their families need justice.
YES!!
Oh yeah, great call! Adding it to the "check it out" list. Appreciate the suggestion!
@szematowicz thank you!!! I also want to add that I’m a satellite engineer and I’ve found that it’s rare to find true crime cases where satellite imagery provides detectives with clues on what might have happened - mostly because the image resolution (both spatially and temporally) for satellites isn’t good enough, especially at that time frame in the early 2010s (predating the rise of Planet Labs because federal mandates limit NASA/NOAA/USGS satellite resolution to ten-meters for one pixel in an image).
In this case, satellites have helped provide timeline information and vehicle tire tracks which has always stood out to me. I haven’t heard of any other cases that have done so - so much so that, along with the spooky name, strange tips, and the halted/ignored investigation from the police, this case has always stood out to me. I just wanted to share that interesting tidbit. Again, thanks
Watching this from Britain where I am a retired Solicitor (Lawyer) & Prosecutor. Judge Cannone has done a fantastic job of allowing Karen Read to present her case & have a fair trial. This is in stark contrast to Judge Gull who appears to be doing everything to prevent Richard Allen from getting one.
Go watch judge cannone pretrial, she was nothing but rude & impatient.
She wasn't as bad as I thought she was going to be. In pre trial hearings she was terrible and I didn't like her sighing and heavy breathing during the trial but maybe that was her mic placement, I'm someone who frequently takes deep breaths and I often get asked what I'm sighing for so I could forgive her for that. It annoyed me that she babied Lally asking him if he wanted to object.
But I did think she'd be worse.
Gull is going to be terrible, there is no way she is going to recuse herself though. I wouldn't wish ill on her in any way, but could she not get something that could keep her off work in October? Like a boil on her backside or something so she can't sit on her throne all day
I've heard that the woman who worked with Richard Allen sayed he was inappropriate & even followed one of them into the ladies restroom.
What worries me is it's not just one set of attorney's that say Allen is not guiltily it's two separate sets of attorney's. The court didn't like what the first set of attorney's was saying so they axe them and the second set say's the same thing. If there was a third set would they have the same opinion?
A defense attorney is ALWAYS going to say their client is innocent.
I thought they just wanted to ban certain words from the jury selection - not the actual trial. Maybe I understood wrong
It’s the entire trial - ban certain words/ names and third party defenses even though evidence points right to other people. Good ole Nick already has a list that can be added to as the state finds out what the defense uncovers as exculpatory evidence for RA.
I love this panel. So interesting.
There are cases people keep secrets till and after death... look at Mudoch, do you really 5hink a bunch of people knew and shut up. Most respectto all with yor knowledge, experience and intergrity.
Those skulls Keys drew with his blood was a load of bs. Imo, he did that just to make people believe that was all the victims he had. It was too cheesy for him. Hes one of the scariest sk’s ever.
Such a good panel and show 🤛
This was fantastic! I really enjoyed this panel.
Fascinating episode w a terrific panel.
Loved the panel and my suggestion for a possible deviant character is Albert Fish.
Thanks so much, we'll give it a look!
Bob as a person who is in the center on this case you are not. You without doubt lean hard to the defense. And that's ok just own it. Don't try to convince yourself you are anywhere beat the center. If you were your snark would not be 100 percent directed to the states case.
I was fooled by the states case for a while, its super sus and this Judge is off the rails. The DA plays games. I don't think its a one man job. I need all the facts.
Is this the pepole from "Somewhere in the Pines?" That Josh has been promoting? It hasn't been released yet. Maybe I missed heard the name of this pod. I keep searching Deviant and I'm getting an artist. Is it because I'm on Spotify?
Deviant hosted by Dan Szematowicz and Andrew Iden.
@@bibivanderveen5455 thank you
replay crew! keep it up DD
My issue with this case is how the judge is so biased towards the defense and how Mr Allen is being mistreated. It doesn’t matter to me whether he’s guilty or not. He needs to be treated with respect. Justice for Abby and Libby.
How has he been mistreated? His own defense team is responsible for constant delays in going to trial.
Jammn126. I agree with you whole heartedly, only difference is my gut tells me RA is innocence.
Sammyday3341. Where have you been?? Did you not see RA in his 1st court date. He had lost a vast amount of weight and he barely could focus. Why do you think that was?
@@joanneswords3640because he knows what he did and he knows he’s never leaving custody. He knows that sooner or later, his cellmates are going to make things really bad for him. He’s scared. As he should be.
@@subrosa4792They will never get a conviction if all they have as evidence is what we the people are aware of !!! it will never happen …. …. They only need one person to have just a tiny bit of doubt …. …. If I were sitting on this jury and this is all the evidence the state had …. Nahhh … That’s not enough …
I could not watch this - for one Barbara McDonald mimicked what the prosecution told her. Which was not true on Court TV!!!!!!
I borrowed the second edition of my friend's book-the Encyclopedia of Serial Killers.
Bob can you please post some the links to anything pertaining to this stream, on those cases if you have the time. ❤I would really like to interview Rex.
Great podcast! Question: Barbara said Doug Carter apologized saying LE made mistakes re: Delphi case. When did that happen?? Thx!
Hand picked lawyers? All Allen's lawyers ever were "hand picked " come on bob
Is this affidavit public? I'm not sure where to locate these types of documents.
Let down of a show. Bob just had these people on so they could listen to him cry about how tough it's been on poor Bob to express his views
Now, I've got three more cases to deep dive into. 😅
Could bridge guy be visiting the cemetery? It was valentines day so maybe he went to his passed wife's or daughters grave????
Seems unlikely. It’s a very roundabout way, and I doubt he would want to cross a freezing stream.
Add these great guests on just for Bob to talk the whole time and repeat his well known views over and over again. What a waste of great guests
You sure are obsessed with Bob.
In the meantime, I will google :)
Deep diving is the way!
I like these two guys!
Nothing but adds

Richard Allen is guilty !
Guilty of being innocent, maybe. He ain't BG.
RA, like every defendant in this country pre-trial, is innocent until proven guilty.
If you listen to DD regularly you would know one fact Bob states in almost every podcast is that Richard Allen is innocent until proven guilty and nobody can make statements like yours until all the evidence from both sides has been presented in a court of law and a jury of his peers decides.
He's guilty how many times does he have to scream it out 🤷
@@juniorjohnson5961 Ask yourself why someone in prison would go around telling everyone that they murdered 2 kids. That's a realistic scenario to you? lmao The confessions are actually evidence of his innocence. Not a usual circumstance however this isn't a usual case.
Replay crew, great show
