It's truly an incredible demonstration of generosity that the elector count of Solland has the right to vote for absolutely every inhabitant of Solland. Something that isn't the case for the rest of the provinces of the empire.

Solland is basically Nevada for Balthasar, he can conduct whatever dangerous and wacky experiments he can in what is basically a wasteland with little oversight and being an Elector Count, he will basically run it with a lot of Sell Swords too as likely the population is too small to be recrutible even with Imperial support for resettlement, likely making up of mostly farmers, Miners and the Military presence in the area. (I imagine the population is around the same as Nye County, Nevada in real life around 50,000 people in total covering a huge Geographic area making it essentially abandoned)
The fact you used Kevan Brighting for narrating this is the best part. Loved him in the Stanley parable, and it's always a treat to hear his voice anywhere
Despite what people think Solland's main export isn't gold, it's gunpowder. Gelt invented a more efficient gunpowder and shared that knowledge with the people of Solland. Now everyone in Solland gains wealth from the patient and employment is 100% with well paying jobs.
I´m pretty sure that lorewise Solland has regained population since its devastation. It might never be what it was but it still has plenty of villages and people.
As someone not from Solland, but rather living next to it, at first I wasn't sure about that new Elector Count, but I was very impressed when 100% of Solland people showed up to greet the neighbouring state, although it was a little weird that the entire population was asking for a cup of lead

You forgot to mention how Balthasar transported half of the Empires military to the newly established Solland Air Brigade. I know this is easily overlooked however as each soldier transfered are not actual citizens of Solland thus the 100% charts are still quite relevent. Thought I'd mention it for any tourist to Solland.

Solland is like Sylvania and Stirland. Most people there live there because they are peaceful places. They might be as peaceful as Drakwald. The nice beastmen there just was you to get off their lawn.
I tried to become a citizen of Solland once but entire population of Solland rejected my request so I decided maybe its better not to live there since entire population don't want me.
