Are these capable of a grisaille underdrawing and then color added on top?

Hmm grisaille is completely new to me. I would assume it would work since you are able to push and bleed with the alcohol but probably not the the effect that you are looking for.

Riky Song Su After asking this question I searched and found one person of all of UA-cam who has done it on a Halloween drawing for deeper tones. It seems to fit less vibrant tones and more muted or darker tones but it’s interesting nonetheless.
