- Arco is a lot more than the caves at Massone, so today we felt it was time to let the projects dry while checking out something a bit more exposed!

I really really liked this episode. Something about multi pitches.
If you're worried about the unsteady GoPro footage - I don't mind it at all. It's just the way it is with a headmounted camera. And it's so interesting to watch!
I really miss these older vlog styles! I hope when covid is over you can do more traveling and show us these outdoor climbing destinations again.
You've done one of the most iconic multi pitch of Arco bolted by Maurizio Zanolla " Manolo " and Roberto Bassi in 1983. There is also a movie about this route. Good choise !!
Leonardo Polo Thank you for the information😊🙏
So great to watch! I love multi pitch videos and I think the balance between Robin's camera and the gopro footage from both of you was really good. Super intense (and scary) route, amazing view!
Magnus, long time viewer here. THis Vlog is up there with some of the best of your vlogs, really exeptional stuff even amng you videos. Thank you for the video!
Those views are gorgeous!
Loved the gopro. Your hand placements are so careful and relaxed, the rock closeups are endlessly interesting, together with the exposure.
The shots on the top are really amazing! Nice vlog! I enjoyed it👍
Guys this vlog is amazing! Putting your hands on a multi-pitch route was a great idea, I loved to see also this kind of climbing. I hope there will be more after you come back to Norway.
How long is the rope you're using? I've been there last month (I was able to see where I camped during the breathtaking sight up on the wall) but I didn't go climbing multi pitch routes. I'm looking forward to come back to Arco, so your info might actually help me.
Good effort, have a nice italian meal tonight!
Michele Franciotta 80 meter rope😊
Really nice vlog, thought the shot selection really gave a good idea of what the route was like. Keep up the good work!
Love seeing what you see through the go pro .. bit scary I must admit. lol
Really awesome footage!
So great! Thanks for sharing this
Really enjoyed the wholesome end of the last vlog, exited to get into this one
Man the view of Arco from the top looks so unreal. Makes me wanna go! When it's not raining...
Awesome multi-pitch. Hope there will be some more!
Sick climbing with that multipitch and the ropedragg!
Super view aswell, I still feel a slight fear at 15-20m wall inside and you guys are so relaxed at 150m haha!
The goPro footage was really awesome on this route, much steadier than on the overhang :)
Amazing video!
Multi pitches are so fucking fun. One of my favourite aspects of climbing!
My favourite video on UA-cam! I aspire to climb like this
How many videos in how many countries do you not have enough water for? Good seeing your old vlogs. All good in different ways. Thanks for doing this guys :)
beautiful, thanks for sharing
I am just discovering your channel and it's very good!
That rope management though 😄😄
Commenting to support
Amazing climb!
Ah I knew it, that view from the thumbnail was so familiar to me 😃
great vlog guys. grats for Robin with that multipitch. Show some more of his climbing;)
Magnus, your posture looks very well compared to some other climbers. I am kinda chunched and want to prevent injuries. Do you apply any specific exercises/stretches to keep your body balanced or does it come naturally for u?
Peace :)
specialdefect00 Thanks! I have done my abs program thousand of times over the years, so it could be that. Don't really know.
thank you for sharing as always! would you be willing to let us know what camera/lens you use?
I loved this video, great seeing a multipitch.
What are you using on your smartphone to find the routes? Is it just a map or some app one should know?
theotaaku Thanks! This time it was just a picture I found on google. But there are plenty of topo apps that I like to use. Like Vertical Life.
maybe daft question , Does the last man once he gets to clips remove them as he passes them? or do you leave them there for others too use ? sorry if daft questions
This looks so superhuman for ordinary folks :P
What/who are you using for music on your vlog? Really enjoy the soundtrack!
tie in at the top of the cliff Magnus. Come on. That's why they're called accidents...you don't plan them.
what length rope did you use for your multi pitch? And how long were the pitches? Also approximately how many draws did you have??
80 meter rope, 16 draws. The pitches probably averaged around 30 meters:)
Hey, Magnus! Awesome vlog. Do you do much Trad at all? Was just wondering. Thanks again for a great video.
Thanks Max! Haven't done that much trad, but would love to do more:)
Well if you are ever looking for a psyched partner let me know...
SECOND!
fantastisch
What backpack was Robin using? Was it the Osprey Talon 22? Amazing VLOG! :)
It was the Talon 11 liter :)
I'd love to climb multipitch too, but it just looks too damn scary for me...
Like in the gyms you know that someone is responsible for the protection and safety, but outdoors.. its difficult to make myself trust those bolt anchors. =\
Trust me, it's worth it
was the hardest pitch harder then 7a ? :) Nice Video like always!
If it is the "Diedro Manolo" which i am not sure. It is graded 6a+
That stretch at around the 10 minute mark looked a little harder I wasn't seeing many holds but it could just be hard to see on the camera but it looked like a spot kinda had no holds for about 10 feet I wish I coulda seen how he got past that
Should have had helmets, especially with the loose rock on the final pitch and the top.
FIRST!!!
