All good things come to an end! The Kalymnos-vlogs were some quality content, keep that up! And also the voice-over while climbing is nice... Well done :)
yes, the voiceovers are really good, because as a viewer you normally can't tell how good the holds are or what thoughtprocess was behind certain moves
Epic dude, Your greece trip has been great, its so hard to film everything while you are trying to have fun and send sick routes and you did it brilliantly dude. Keep up the great work :-)
Thanks for you effort Magnus! Really enjoy these vlogs!
Thanks Magnus for all the amasing videos! I realy enjoy to watch them.
3:21. Rumor has it that, as an infant, Magnus learned to remove his shirt even before the soft spot on top of his developing newborn skull had closed. Of course he climbed vertical structures before he learned to walk upright as well.
probably my favourite vlogs are from kalymnos watched them a few times a lot of awesome 3d climbing!
Great videos. Now I want to go back to Kalymnos again. It's a paradise.
I really liked the videos from greece. Some of the vlogs (the earlier ones) had some great landscapeshots as well. The voiceover was great, especially when the climbing footage was shot well. (I know it's hard, if there are only two to three people at the crack) So thanks for the great content of your trip. Really enjoyed it. Greetings from Germany.
Definitely on my bucket list of climbing destinations Awesome content Magnus.
Really enjoyed the kalymnos blog series. Well done. Thanks for making great videos. Keep up the good work.
I love you! everything from your style to your skill to your personality to your passion. i just cant get enough
Great vlogs from this trip. The voice overs makes the climbing so much more interesting to watch!
I love the voice-overs on each climb, I'm surprised more channels aren't copying this innovation off you :)
"Just look at that tufa" :) love it
How are you so good at Vlogging! AND CLIMBING! great videos.. ur channel is skyrocketing, keep it up
Dude what a blast!! Hope to see you sometime in chile!! Bless!!
One of the best Climbimg area that i have ever seen!
Great VLOG Magnus. Really liked the voice-over.
Everything was spot-on in this vlog! Well done :)
Quite the tick list...nice work man
Sick travelling vlogs! Sick tick list! Keep it up :)
Good Vlogs Magnus!
Gonna keep watching 😁
I love the ending of the video (okay and also the rest of it)!
That hoodie tho :) such a great color
0:42 I thought that biggest mosquito is real, haha! btw great video.
Yuuusssss - voiceover Magnus best Magnus
you have so much onsights, so do you never miss like really hard route that you need to think alot and try multiple different betas and so on
4:00 looks so surreal!
Kalymnos should probably send you a royalty cheque. Great advertising for this magnificent island. Would be nice if you could stop calling 7bs easy though, there are mortals watching ^^;.
4:20 Just look at that tufa
Feel free to click over and over
What a savage tick list
8c+ redpoint means the highest you've onsighted right? that's pure beast.. and what a tick list, out of this world man.. I want to go to Kalymnos but I'm not sure if it's best before or after summer. Opinions guys?
Sensational vlog! Love the music and everything. I have some questions about Kalymnos, I want to go there on December in the holiday break, would you recomend going there in that time, is the ferry still runing or do they have a break? Could you recomend some places? I'm also thinking about going to Todra in Maroco, have you ever been there or planing to visit? From my site, if you like big walls I recomend Paklenica in Croatia, I think there would be some 8c's for you :)
«Ne pas toucher a ma bite» c'est du beau ! Cela explique le fait que tu met beaucoup de magnésie
Mais qui a eu l'idée de mettre un nom pareil :D
The real question is when are we going to see you in Oliana Spain on Joe Mama or other climbs there
I'm Greek and had no idea Kalymnos is known for its climbing! I also saw an interview by Honnold saying it's nice for climbing beginners! (but 8a doesn't sound too beginner-friendly to me..)
Amazing ticklist. Was it a 6 month trip?
Hey, nice videos about Kalymnos, what was your trip date ? I used to go there in april/may but temp are to high to climb mid may. I would like to go in oct/nov but don't really know what is the best time.
Why not try the project? You're a beast, so why not go for it?
If it wasn't my last day I might have. When I visit a new place I like to just climb a lot of routes and see as many different sectors as possible. But if I went to Spain or somewhere I have already been many times, I would invest more time into something really hard.
Magnus Midtbø catalonia please not Spain, don't call us Spanish anymore
What quickdraws do you use/prefer?
There were no crags on the route. At 11:00 I saw you take them off. Do you always lose 1 hook (the highest one?)
Fucking great episode magnus.
So do you use a 120m rope for those 60m routes?
@Life On Two Wheels at an onsight you have no information about the route, only what you can see from the ground and you have to put every QuickDraw yourself. At the flash you sre allowed to get beta before the try and you don't have to put the quickdraws yourself.
Sick song at 1:32, Magnus
What software do you use to make your vlogs? (Hopefully it's not some kind of secret!)
What time of year was this video shot? Thanks!
so when one guy goes up. how you get your quick draws back?
10:30. The Top are fixed anchors. In an overhang, just connect your harness through 1-2 draws to the rope and the belayer lets you down to the ground.
On the way down, you can collect all draws.
Is there a difference between a Flash and an Onsight? And what is a "Redpoint"?
"Flash is also first go, but you can get as much info as you want without actually trying it yourself. For example by watching someone it, looking at photos, video etc." - per Magnus himself.
Redpoint is climbing the route all in one go without a fall AFTER having already tried the route. So lots of people go for a onsight, fall. Maybe finish the climb and then Redpoint it later.
Ah ok thx for the answer :)
what is difference between onsight and flash?

Magnus Midtbø aaa okay! Thanks for answering! And that very impressive that you can climb such a hard routes whitout any beta help! Amazed! Keep up the good work you vlogs are so good!
Can you Upload the vlog and an uncut Version of your climbing?
Yo dude someone said your max pullups was over 80. Please link me this video haha
This looked so much easier in AC Odyssey
What's the hardest route in Kalymnos?
I believe its still 9a ( could be wrong), but there are a few 9a+ projects and for sure there has to be an unbolted 9b somewhere on Kalymnos/ Telendos
@@oscar8180 There should even be several 9cs considering the soft Kalymnos grading ;-)
I don't know if yall realised but the second route was literally called "do not touch my dick" 8a+
HAHAHA the name of the 8A+ means "do not touch my dick" in French
