When you don’t have any left you need to slap backside as much as you can. Stand off the plate more so you can make that inside pitch a middle to outside pitch. One of the biggest lessons I learned while moving up from E to B ball.
Just be happy it wasn't an IEO ( inning ending out ) for those who don't play tournament ball ...if you hit a home run when you don't have any it's an automatic end of the inning 😅
I would use a flat downward stroke when we were out of home runs.. with that low fence it still would cruise over it. My league had 16ft fences. I stuck a few into it. Lol. Never forget the original Demarini Double wall. La Bomba.

In this league they only allow a team to hit a certain amount of homers. After that number is reached it becomes an out if a homer is hit. I accidentally hit one here 🤦🏻♂️

So the game doesn't become home run derby. No fun when everyone can hit it out of the park and can't get anyone out. My team tries to save the home runs until we need them.

Balls wound so tight they jump off the bats like golf balls! Fights all the time! Glad I played back in the day. Wouldn’t want to nowadays. Maybe be a church league with old school wooden bats maybe?

100% agree but lots of different rules now that make it more fair, but also way different.. Home run = out, switch balls for guys/girls, 5 runs max per inning, a few wrong words with blue will get your team thrown, etc.. at lest in my league

Where I'm from it has a massive Amish population and they never really got to play organized sports at a higher level because they didn't go to high school. So, if you try to play softball anywhere, you would think you just walked into their world series. They take it to a point where its not fun
