this review is absolutely right! specially about the battery life, i bought the matebook 13 core i5 3 days ago and it only lasted for 4-5 hours... but the rest of the specs is amazing.

Great review Emkwan! The laptop is great but the battery life is a big turn off. Huawei will surely take notice on that and improve it on the upcoming matebooks. Speaking of that, when do you think the next Huawei matebooks will be launched at.
Huawei is doing awesome work but in this gadget battery is a major lacking feature. I wish it could give a more work time to the battery.

I have measured the battery to 9.5 hours with WiFi on (just browsing, 40% brightness). This is with the 42000 mWh battery that was charged to 98% percent.

@@rahulsinghrawat2323 Well, it all depends on your usage scenario. I've done an actual burndown test on my own Matebook, which yields the before-mentioned 9.5 hours (from dislodging the charging cable to the PC turned off), with the screen on at all times. (40% brightness), wifi on (bluetooth off) and Firefox open (5 tabs including one with youtube - NOT showing video though).
So, it was a surfers test.
Perhaps Emkwan was using his for Photoshop work when he got 5 hours - that would obviously wipe out the battery faster. Maybe his screen was at 100% - and so on.
@The JP Haven't tried with external storage. But in general, with Wifi on and about half brightness, expect 6-9 hours of runtime
@The JP I've only tested while playing from UA-cam, Netflix and HBO.

looks like my macbook :) The 2 usb slots is the problem with my Macbook as well. I require more since I do music production and I need to use a usb expander which isn't always the best option.

It's the version you have, you need 16 gb RAM version for it to be touchscreen

The Matebook X Pro is as big as 13" Macbook even though it has a 13,9" screen...watching this review from a Matebook X Pro :)
