They betrayed us, turned their weapons onto us, as we marched forward into the palace grounds, the bullets of the bolter tipped polearms of the Emperor's elite and personal guard had ripped and tore their way into and through our lines hurling our 8 foot, 600 pound frames into one another, sowing chaos amongst us. We had no choice but draw our bolters and swords and return fire, so we did just that. But we were too overmatched and outnumber, outgunned and outflanked, leaving us with only one option... Run. So we did. We ran. We ran our enhanced asses off, clad in full thunder armour, full battlegear, but it mattered not. We were running for our lives, covering our retreat with both smoke and covering fire. For as long as 3 days and nights, we bound back as our numbers slowly dwindled and withered until I was the last one alive. I stayed hidded, held my position in a embedded position, though overcome with grief from the sudden lost of my brother that had been taken from me... killed off in the most unfathomable and disrespectful way possible... and confusion, I knew what needed to be done. I am their mission, I don't know how long I can hold out or how long I can evade the infinite forces the Emperor has fully to his disposal, but I will promise this: I may not kill the Emperor. I may never see him again. But every day I survive, is a big chunky loogie hawked into his face; a slap to his face from a hand of solid iron. I will send him a message in blood. There will be no forgiveness for this, no mercy, never will I forget my brothers being gunned down around me. The Emperor himself, may not pay for this directly... But this betrayal, will cost him. This is the story of Kahne, the very youngest but also the most dangerous of them... The story of "The Last Thunder Warrior". Bless you, sir. Thank you for this.
