@@jmontoya4689 Hey, if you're asking me, I would go with the safe and great answer of the entire Horus Heresy saga. Over 50 novels, dozens of short stories and other related works. I say this because the entire series is now complete and can be read in chronological order. It also encompasses both the very height of the Imperium of Man with the Emporer's Crusade, participation of all 18 known primarchs and of course covers the tragic betrayal and civil war of the Heresy itself. So many great books there and IMO incredibly satisfying. Cheers
There almost nothing to say every game you play isn’t just a warhammer game where you’re a cut off regressed planet even magic makes sense as does technology
Those techno barbarians must of been so powerful if not even the emperor of mankind could defeat them and seeked diplomatic solutions. I wonder what warp entity the priest worshipped. Was it a chaos God? During the unification wars where there any tribes/groups that worshipped the chaos gods
You'd get that, you'd also get culturally specific deific Archetypes hyper charged by the self belief of the humans. Roughly what the Eldar do, & kinda what the Emperor has as his foundation from all the Shamans, but well, they didn't have his longevity I think. Someone put Caine in 40k at some point as well, but that was pretty weaksauce.
@TOUGHEYES I have always been under the impression that those Archetype thingies were always just the Chaos Gods. Like all Religion sooner or later always ended up somehow being the Four. I remember a fertility god that was actually just Khorne being worshipped as an example.
@@MaticustheRedu mean nurgle. How tf would Khorne be fertility? Nurgle is the cycle of life and rebirth but to a perverse degree on each end of the spectrum

Nah. There is so many turn based and strategy 40k games. We need a first person narrative game like the Witcher. Imagine it starts with you as a Primarch, crash landing on your new home. You achieve things following the lore until the Emperor arrives for you. The next game would have you at the head of your own legion. Each chapter has its own series of games until they all culminate with the Horus Hersesy trilogy.
Nightlords, iron hands, an deathguard, were Albion legions is a suprise. I was thinking Iron warriors, imperial fist, dark angels. Would be a good idea for a vid about what legions came from what areas *hint hint*
Unifications Wars: Basically Pendulum Wars and also Age of Armageddon from Gears of War, all the Post-WW3 Reconstruction Eras of Humanity from Fallout, and ironically all Post-Fall of Rome and Medieval Dark Ages to Renaissance/Enlightenment Recovery Periods from actual history, blended together and injected with fucking steroids!

I honestly believe that the emperor was no more than a weapon. Much like the rest of the perpetuals. He and the other perpetuals purposely destroyed all hope for advancement, peace or any form of true enlightenment. With all the crap about him being a master strategist, every decision I've seen him make in the lore has seemed designed to fail. Example: not bothering to warn his Primarchs about chaos... Especially since big E probably tried to dupe the chaos gods in some way. Just saying.
I guess you just are going to act like the war with the men of iron never happened huh. Tell me you don’t know much about 40k without telling me you are just trying to make them views the war with the men of iron was just as bad as the birth of the shittiest chaos god.
