I am from Jaimala Shiledar and Chota Gandharca generatio. The new 'sanch' group of performers are excellent that I cherish watching 10 thousand miles away from home. Charudatta Afale and Smita Chinchalekar that I see playing different role are 'Treasure' for the Marathi Rasngabhumi which took plunge downward in the age of computer. This performance of sangeet "Saubhadra" is adding new breath of life to it. My hearty Congratulations! to you all.
I watch Italian, German and French (western) Operas and for the first time I am enjoying this musical play, which I had seen in my childhood, but I realized its rich heritage today. It would have been a nice gesture if women also would have received same exposure as the men. I still do not know the name of female artists. Also it will be very gratifying to know who wrote this and other Marathi plays.
Fantastic personalities playing the roles. I am thrilled to see the tremendous devotion to present such a show piece.Really great! Tribute to the acting world.
