I'm a delivery driver who goes all over the south west. The amount of classic cars, caravans, lorries, tractors I see just sat in gardens and farmers fields just rotting away. Such a shame!!
The green Fiesta UEO272T is a 957 High Compression Base model, that someone bought new in September 1978. Last changed hands in September 2012. On SORN so at least somebody is still thinking about it. The round XR2 headlamps were a popular upgrade in the 1980s.
As always, a very great video! It always makes my heart bleed when I see what beautiful cars are rotting away! Just the Nissan ZX 300 and the imported Mitsubishi! At 13.30 minutes, that's a rare Scimitar SS1. A friend owned this as a very rare LHD and also as a very rare SS1 Ti 1800, with a Nissan Turbo engine (most had 3 different Ford engines). The chassis was hot-dip galvanized and came from Germany from Thyssen-Stahl AG (that's where I had worked). There we had a brand new 5-series BMW E39 raw chassis and a Porsche 928 raw chassis in the basement for demonstration of welding and soldering technology! Who knows who bagged that after the factory closed! Regards Klaus from Düsseldorf
Stu, that video was amazing. The first place was ok but the second place Wow dude. The parts off them japanese cars alone would run into tens of thousands of pounds. What a cool place though and a Rover v8 too not to mention all the other Rover's, other cars, boats, caravans ect 🤜🤛 The house looks abandoned and the grounds look like a big storage yard. The owners must be local though as that's one hell of a place to be left unattended. It's certainly in the top ten of the places you have been. All the best brother 🤘🤘
Froze the upload at 00:01 as some snacks were calling, when I returned and looked at the screen I thot it was Peaky Blinders. Had a Rover 820i Fastback around 1995 - was rapid for that period but mine had automatic transmission issues, they also always developed heater problems. Thanks again fella, cold morning which never bother me as I enjoy the cold days but still fair play to you for all the groundwork effort. Cheers!
Hurts so bad seeing those 200sx’s, I love them so much and hope to own one in the next couple of years so to see 4 s13 an 2 s14 like that is just heartbreaking
@@Caleb0106 s13's rot badly you need to get under it to check it out. I've seen front chassis legs rot badly but then theres not much underseal really and the usual boot lid rot. Was looking at the price or 14, 14a and wow monies
In these locations you explore, the phrase "Take only pictures, leave no trace" comes to mind. You always share without compromise of location Brother, always admire your integrity 🤠🌲🍃
The white car you thought was a Lotus and wasn’t is likely a reliant Scimitar SS1. It didn’t look like the shooting break scimitar. The red car next to the eclat must be some sort of kit car or low production model as the boot lid has external hinges. A ginetta maybe? The white Japanese car with the big whale tail is a Mitsubishi GTO. You also missed a Toyota MRS (mk3 MR2) hidden under stuff near the GTO.
yeah i saw the mrs but like i say it isn't the coolest place to be knocking about, so i couldn't look around as much as i wanted to, Cheers for watching chap
Absolutely great video, Saturday morning wouldn’t be the same without your vids, some lovely cars, you deserve more followers, love the channel and how you present it, much love Stu🤛
Wow wow wow.. What on earth are all those Rovers doing there ? it seems they had no intention of selling them as most of that lot are all SORN.The Range Rover was due to be taxed in 1999.The Green SD1 and the Gold SD1 tax was due in 1991 . What a crying shame. Montego's are very very rare now but see a row of estate's sitting there is just such shame. That Blue van that had been converted into a motor caravan badged as a Dodge was interesting as those vans are very rare and when they first came out they badged as a Commer. Later on they were badged as Dodge.Once again a great video .
Another Excellent piece of award winning journalism stu . It's true what they say One man's trash is another man's Treasure .you manage to bring us back to a simpiler time in history 😍✌️🎖️
The Dodge was actually British Commer/Karrier part of the Rootes group which was bought out in the 70’s by Chrysler who then all commercials Dodge, the bright green Fiesta was actually a factory colour named Peppermint Green!
It’s a hoarders condition, they love to stand there with a beer and watch their collection rot into the ground knowing it’s all theirs and no one else can have it !
The other cars by the lotus the white one is a Scimitar SS 1, the red one looks like a Ginetta G26 from the 80's normally ford powered from that era and Ginetta are still making cars, cheers Stu another decent upload.
Killer video Stokze! Best stuff you've found for a while! Don't take too many risks though mate, you never know how people will react if they see you. Stay safe brother.
Thanks for another harrowing video stu. (Great video really) just so sad to see those cars dying like that. And! I’ll never understand what goes on in the heads of the people that leave these cars in this way! The only plus side I suppose is that at least these vehicles are still in existence rather than being cubed years ago..
Mad what goes through peoples heads and the retro car buyers are out there right now buying up anything cool worth selling now. That evo 4 on your other vid though if it was any good is worth over 10k now! I bought a white evo 4 for just under 5k in 2017 was immaculate but found it had crank walk i changed the crank shells and sold it but more because it was so juicy with very short ratio gears was no good on the motorway but quick but juicy.
