A bit of a background story on Dav.
First of all 'WHAT AN ABSOLUTE LEGEND' Dav, For allowing me to film and document his classic car collection, Dav, started rescuing cars way back in the 80s, if he saw a car in a bush, On a driveway or in a shed, he would buy it, He's just like each and everyone of us, like me he sees cars as stray cats/dogs and simply has to rescue them, regardless of what it is or how much its worth he just had to save it, Through and through he has petrol coursing through his veins, Each and every car you will see over the weekend he has saved spending long days on the road traveling many many miles in search of that lost forgotten unloved car, he has traveled the UK & european Continent, Rescuing these cars.
The passion Dav has for cars spands back decades, Growing up in the by gone era of the good old Coal mining days, Dav has had a passion for cars that hasn't altered from his childhood to now a grown man, To this day hes still saving them and has amassed over 200 cars and counting.
What Dav is planning on doing is building a place where all walks of life can go and get hands on with these lost retro classic legends, and help get them running fixed up and back where they should be, Back on the road, His idea is in my opinion utterly brilliant and i won't lie almost brought a tear to my eyes.
Not only does he wish to bring like minded people together he also wants to allow people to drive these cars on the road for a day or even a weekend to experience a lost feeling of not only driving such classics but to also feel what its like to actually drive one as opposed to being driven by the car.
We have so long lost that feeling of being part of the car we drive and actually driving it having that sense of connection, Even falling in love with the feeling it gives us and not to mention the freedom to express ourselves,
old car makers had real to the bone passion for designing these cars, New cars have no heart characterless pieces of metal.
What dav, has envisioned will be a groundbreaking triumph, Its friends like dav that sets records for taking risks, throwing caution to the wind regardless of what anybody thinks,
We need more Davs in this word i for one am looking forward to this new venture and im so happy to bring you my amazing audience along for the ride. Thank you Dav,

Right, So what's on offer in this episode, well, first and foremost the iconic Ford Racing Ford Puma, now this is a car you'd never expect to see sat in a vehicle car storage lot, i mean indoors yes, but certainly not amongst rotting decaying cars, I mean this in the right light is a 20k car, Certainly not what you expect to see when doing the kind of thing i do, One of only 500 made, this car needs to be rescued id only wish i could buy it for the channel, Second on the menu is also very rare faze 1 astra gsi, one of my dream cars, again sat decaying unloved, Now before i spoil it anymore i will stop talking haha, So go ahead sit back and enjoy this ultimate collection of some of the uk's best cars of the 80s and 90s, Enjoy....

Wow! I'm blown away by the mix of such iconic cars in one place. Having owned a 1991 Citroen ZX 1.9 Volcane 30 years ago I would nab both of the ZX 16v's! They were such an underrated car even back then. There's so many more there I would also love to see restored. This era was when the manufacturers made interesting cars unlike modern stuff.
I think we all feel the same way seeing these lovely cars just left to the elements, countless locations. Seeing some of these vehicles takes me back.
Love the mk3 Gsi, most of these cars are salvageable because they have been parked on concrete and not grass
Shame to in-between that panel flanges will still rust as cars sat like this just rot from the inside out.

I'm crying! So many beautiful cars and that Astra GSi 16v took me right back to 1994 when I had an exact one as a company car.
What an unbelievable collection! Absolutely amazing! The Chamade 16V, Astra GSI, AX GTI, Racing Puma, the E30's, the list is crazy! All so rare now! 😮 More content on this collection is required! 👌
So many rare and interesting cars! the Peugeot 605 2:35 is the one that really caught my eye! can't remember the last time I saw one on the road
The guy that owns all these cars has another field full of cars, and a big unit where he keeps all his good stuff. In the unit he some amazing cars, E30 M3, Saph Cossie, Mk3 RS1600i, Mk2 Xr2 and loads more good stuff.
Well all I can say is stu is one of the most respectful people when comes to this sort of thing and the owner should let stu have a look 😊👌 there some nice cars there so what’s his unit like 😀😅

Love the video saw this the other day them Citroen ZX volcanos where a weapon I’ve had so many of the 1.9 td basically just a Peugeot 306 Diesel but the citrus look a lot meaner a lot more better looking wish I could find like the black one in the video xxx
Done 5 or 6 reg checks and all have last Mot in 2009 so I'm guessing they have been sat there ever since.. such a shame those citroen zx 16vs are so rare.. 😢

Always loved the racing puma, only made 500, I remember a time when good cars were being broken up as they were worth more in parts! As new spares were hard to get. Very few left now

At the start of the video I spied a Vw Scirocco mk2. I'm lucky enough to have one of those. Getting rarer now. Love that little 304, saw one at a car show last year, worth a bit now. Madness!

Wow great vid. I'd definitely save the white mk3 golf gti and the green Renault 19 16v for my wife as she owned one when we met.
The green gti is a colour concept should have matching leather inside. I noticed also a k reg whit gti early mk3 in white and 3dr too.
In front of the 304 was a rare rover 25 vi predecessor to the zr's.
The racing puma and silver rs2000 have had there seats robbed since this video @imstokze

The silver rover in front of the peugeot 304 ‘decapitable’ is actually a very rare car these days, being the Vi model with the 1.8 138bhp VVC motor from the MGF and Elise, iirc theres less than 10 or so left MOTed on UK roads
I have an extremely rare 1993 g200 rs charade sat on my driveway that we can't find parts for the mot, it's a much loved member of the family, 16v efi, 0 - 100 in 12 seconds,
It's a true unknown 90s hot hatch, you are welcome to come and film this car, also its up for a new home if anyone is interested.
These kind of cars need saving ASAP. Love to see them all saved.

I'm literally 4 seconds in and I'm already blown away 🤯 I thought I could see a renault 19 16v in the back ground in your teaser pics but a while saloon that's the holy grail of 19s would love that to make a touring car rep 🤍 what a rare motor!!! And then a wide arch Ford motor sport or Puma racing what ever it was!! They were rare when new! Used to see a local one regularly back when they were new! Hey Stuie, I just seen another video on the new Capri coming out. And just as I suspected it will be just the Capri badge only, it is going to be a crossover SUV. One day these car manufacturers will understand that the public all doesn’t want these over priced SUV’s or Crossovers, we just want a plain simple practical automobile for a reasonable price.

309 gti next to xr4 in white I had 4 of them back in the day but my favourite car I had in the 90s was a bx 4x4 running 312 bhp ...the good old days

No one has mentioned the little Peugeot 106 Rallye. I owned one just like it in red from new. Legend of a car, still miss it today.

And now parts are stolen from the Racingpuma, a Escort RS2000, and from a RS Turbo Fiesta. Mainly interiors that are gone.
I hope you can come in contact whit the owner an get a deal with him/here to help them save the cars and for you to get some content.
This is awsome to see, but i get a bit sad to see so many rare cars on one place. Here in Norway there are not that often there are place where so many rare cars in one place.

I've seen so many urban crossovers and 'white good' cars over the years on the road, i completely forgot about all of the decent and interesting cars like in this video. Thank you for bringing me back! The scrappage scheme was such a scam and environmental disaster.
