All around Japan you can find anandoned drift & race cars which tell a story of the early 2000’s when the country was thriving on motorsports. Sadly owners of these cars moved on. Due to road tax & other expenses the cars become abandbed & left to decompose & be taken over by nature.
If youre a car enthusist youll need tissues for this one…

@@liamcluett1298 the cost yes, absolutely so. But the value to the owner though, might be different. Some people have restored junk into pristine beauties, because they want to. And if nothing else, some parts can be taken off and used to save other cars. The sum of the parts may be worth more than the whole.

Oh god, all those 180's just disappearing into rust, just so sad. I remember when I was a kid in the early 2000's playing Need for Speed Underground and my favorite car was the 180 because it had the best looking taillights when you upgraded them to the chrome inserts. It pains me to see them like that but, life goes on and so do the memories of these great JDM legends.

Oh man, I've always wanted a car like that. Now I see this video and all these beauties are rusting away. How I would like to have such a JDM car. That's what makes much so sad

    Woulda... Coulda... Shoulda...
I owned GTRs, JZX90s, S13s 180s in Okinawa, Sold all to get the other. The rule on Okinawa for Military Personnel is you couldn't have more than one Vehicle at a time.
I had one hell of a well collection, sold it all in Germany.

Awesome video Sam and all those cars just wasting away. The rusted holes placement on the trunk of the red 180 look like where the rear spoiler was attached. The EK civic looks like the only car I’d want from that car lot and part out the rest.

Little 180sx Trivia: The pignose Inlets you talket about are fake afaik, I have a 200sx and they aren't real. I havent spent that much time examining them but they seem very 'fake'

That blitz wagon next to the black 180sx. Probably going to have the same fate

i love 180sxs but those were too far gone. I'd save the AE111 or the EK hatch though. I'm actually weighing my options in buying a 4th gen prelude or AE111 in the next few weeks

Went to the bio park up in Nagasaki a few days ago and on my way back down to Sasebo I came across the same man... few gtrs and supras... literally a lot of " project" cars rotting away.

so sad to see these cars in this state. Knowing that they'll probably never been on the road again.

For some reason these abandoned car videos are so intriguing to me. Really makes me wonder about the history of the car and the reason the owner left it.

Some of the cars would probably fall apart if you tried to move them. Some of the interior parts and drivetrain would be salvageable but they’re rough

Sam just made me feel old. 🤣🤣 Didn’t know Espelir. Espelir was a performance suspension company. Back when BC’s were eBay junk.
