@@jlu3ai It's very simple. We subconsciously go, "It is logical to do this thing in this situation, therefore I should be feeling like doing the logical thing in this situation, therefore I feel like doing the logical thing in this situation." However, upon observing my actions over a long period of time, and the occasional desires I can identify (mostly tertiary Si desires, such as, "I want to do what is comfortable in this situation, even if that's not logically what I should seek to do in this situation"), the above hypothesis doesn't always hold up. In short, we try to rationalize ourselves into feeling what we think we should feel instead of dealing with what we actually feel; because we have no idea what we actually feel unless we devote at least an hour or two of thought to it, and that's only for simple emotions. For instance, it once took me 1-2 hours to conclude that I was feeling stressed because I was tired from working a 10 hour shift at a factory and standing on my feet all day whilst lifting heavy boxes. That's not even considering more complex emotions, like "I'm still not over my ex, and that's why I'm avoiding talking to her." It took me 4 years and some months to figure that one out. So yeah, emotions are hard. I've come to the conclusion that they're worth the pain, but they're still hard.
@@danielfranklin9784 I'm more like men with colors (when they have 6 colors for the entire color wheel): I know that I'm happy, stressed, angry, sad, but I don't pick up the more subtle shades of emotions, and that's perfectly fine by me. I am an ENFP married to an ISTJ. So I laughed when I saw them interacting during the Easter egg hunt. Everything was pretty accurate except my husband is scared of spiders. Yes, I do make up little characters. I once painted random faces on all the mandarin oranges in the fridge, so when my roommate opened the door she saw a bunch of oranges looking scared of her. Didn't make her laugh, whe was just annoyed I had so much time to do something like that.
This year I complained to my parents about how they stopped setting up Easter egg hunts for me because I’m “too old”🙄whatever that means. Anyway they set one up for me and even though I was the only one who did it, it was still fun. I’m 17 so I can still use the excuse that I’m a child.
Well, we do tend to portray ourselves as quite innocent to the outside world. 😈 (Although, imo, for as savage as an INFJ can be, we also tend to have a very innocent side, too. It’s like a baby wolf…or something like that anyway. Haha)
My brother is an ISTJ and friend an ENFP. This is just so spot on. It's funny to know that they share all of their cognitive functions but in reverse. Makes such a difference. Well done and Happy (belated) Easter to you, Kristin!
I'm actually really glad you mentioned that thing about INFJs not being as nice as we seem, because I felt bad about the comment I made in your last video, and I wanted to address it, and this gives me the perfect opportunity to do so. I am an INFJ and my brother is an ESFP(At least I think he is, I'm not sure). When we were growing up, we did not get along. He would tease me and I did not appreciate it. It took me many years to realize he wasn't teasing me to be mean, he was doing so to be playful. He teased me expecting me to tease him back, but instead I would get offended, and he ended up thinking I was a stick in the mud. Eventually I figured out that his teasing was done with affection. I started to tease him back, and our relationship started to improve. After this, my brother would start to be more sensitive to me, because he realized I wanted someone to say genuine things to me sometimes, and now we have this weird relationship that's kind of the opposite of where we started out where I tease him and he is nice to me. Now, going back to the comment on my last video, I sometimes forget that if people don't know us they don't know my teasing is done out of love. The comment I made about him was unfair, but if I said it to him he would appreciate it. I don't really understand how it works, so sometimes I might tease too far, because teasing doesn't come as naturally to me as it does to him. Some people don't get my brother, and if this is the case I do my best to convey to them just how great my brother is despite the fact that they can't understand him. I'm very thankful to God for giving me a brother who is so different from me because it helps me understand a lot more people than I would otherwise, plus he's a riot! I'm actually writing a novel about our relationship, or, more accurately, a very similar relationship because I find our differences, and how these differences complement and strengthen each other, very fascinating and entertaining. I very much hope I didn't offend you with the comment I made in your previous video. I adore ESFPs and my brother, whether or not he is an ESFP.
I hid easter eggs and made these nice cryptic clues needed to find them...and barely any were found without me giving extra hints. I don't know if I should be proud of myself or disappointed in others' lack of puzzle solving skills. Yes I'm an INTJ
As an INFJ and youngest son of an ENTP father, I can assure you that he was able to read me like he made a research about me when he actually never does while I'm struggling to read my own father. Gosh dag nabbit 🙂🤣😤
BAHAHA this was glorious! The captions were brilliant (the ISTP and ESTJ interaction was gold) and every single part of the ENFP was accurate. Even the clumsiness. I won’t deny it, LOL. Every time. …I was also just having a discussion with friends the other day about my tendency to use multiple voices to argue with myself or talk to objects. I shouldn’t be surprised at the accuracy of your depiction of my type anymore. Also, DANG, fellow Christian here, but I didn’t know the chapter and verse of the cast the first stone passage off the top of my head! If you really just pulled that out from nowhere, SERIOUS kudos!! Anyway, brilliant video as always 🤩💞
“We’re all sinners, Jill.” “Ok.” (I AM DEAD. Jill is my absolute favorite. Also thank you so much for this vid! I loved it, as usual. -ISFP sort of thing)
Never ceases to amaze. How do you do it?! So spot on, always feeling so seen and able to laugh heartily and understand myself better. Thank you so much- ENFP
Thank you so much for all the verses and references to what Easter is actually about!! It’s awesome to see you taking steps to give God glory despite what others may think. Also just all the thought that goes into every single video is just incredible! Thanks Kristin!!
The whole time I was watching Bob, I was thinking, "Please don't be the INTJ"--but of course, he was. And very accurate, too. I've done the exact same things more often than I care to admit (under different circumstances, of course). Especially, "No. It can't be Jenny. That would be too obvious." (Ni denial of Se reality.)
So the ENTP losing 80% of their interest is slightly inaccurate. It's really more like 72%. 22% is then dedicated to forging false security in the recipient of the kindness, and the last 6% is this spark of genuine good that we usually push down really deep inside. Cheers 👍
Oh, hitch here though, The ENTP does actually make sure to thank Jenny regardless. An INFJ asked, and well, INFJ... -ENTP (we only simp for INFJs... and even then only when they aren't looking)
As an ENTP, correcting the slight difference in percentages here, with logical reasoning and confidence as if those numbers are actually measurable, is one of the most ENTP things I've seen in these comments lol.
As an INTP, I relate to the INTP and ISTP the most, as well as the ENTP a bit, and the ENTJ saying to never assume that people aren’t idiots and that the ESTP has a problem. Because people often are by certain definitions. Also, I like chocolate. So I might hunt.
I love the ISTJ pretending like they don’t make up characters and narratives in their head and talk to an inanimate objects, because everyone does that…. Right? They aren’t delusions… (like when you make a sock puppet and do a rendition of wicked mixed with Taylor swift- as a story where a sock is breaking up with the sock drawer- I got really bored in lockdown. Or talk to chairs or the wall or tables or a pencil in class. Or when you were sat alone in year 7 a lot so you had an imaginary friend who was your partner in class who you spoke to or just straight up talking to the chair because you don’t need a person you just need to externally process, but of course it is better with people who can bounce off of you) Also love the ESTP wrapping up the stones because my ESTP sister 100% would do that and guaranteed it would be me who would fall for it and not even realise it’s a prank (happened sm at primary and secondary school- like I just am so oblivious to the joke I don’t even realise I’m being pranked 😂). I am also currently watching this with a messy bun- I’ve noticed you do the ENFP hairstyle as a messy bun a lot, but it is very spot on it’s my go to especially in spring and summer (which it now is in the uk).
@@glueball214 it was very dramatic. I got very into Taylor swift in lockdown- though that was when there was only a 5 min version of all too well- maybe I should redo it with the 10 min version 😂 (it was a mix of haunted and defying gravity and all too well). Probably would have made more sense to do leaving home- and done slipping through my fingers All the time. But breaking up with a sock drawer works a lot more than you think it would.
I'm kinda stuck on the chocolate eggs on the ground.. maybe it's an America thing but we always had plastic eggs, which were hollow containers, and we put all sorts of things in them, like loose change/coins/dollar bills, encouraging notes, fruit candies like Jolly Ranchers, Tootsie Rolls, loose m&ms, etc. You never knew what you were going to get. ;)
Ok 2 more things (for now at least). Happy (probably late for most of you) Easter! In my mind the music on Jenny’s footage was recorded in universe by the CCTV.
Oh I'm waiting for every new video of yours😍 But could you maybe do more videos where the INFP gets away happy and recognized for her strengths? Ohmygods, these just getting better! (You asked for this when selected "UK captions")... INTP ENTP, ENTJ, ESTP,,, all spot on till crack up. (I'm an ESL so maybe there is no such idiom like this but whatever, you get it)
Dear Kristin, Just wanted to say, 😊 thanks. Until now, I thought I was somehow weird-due to each time I try to tell someone an interesting and awesome story they will inevitably bounce out (before I finish). Now, because of you, I know that I’m not alone, and I am definitely weird. Sincerely, INFP

Its interesting that u use the captions to showcase 2 possibilities on what could have happened with the INTP, nice one! I would take the one w/o the caption. Peer pressure is overrated as u get older when ur an INTP. Peaking the curiosity of the INTP to get us out of boredom or a good Ti reason is the way to grab the INTPs attention for this hunt.

True 🤣🤣
I use it a lot!
Yes🤣
"Never assume that people aren't idiots" - that's the Motto for us ISTPs (although usually proven correct)lol
I mean, it's true! Common sense is definitely not common.
@@SimoneEppleryeah, today I tried to warn my brother and his classmate to stop them from hurting themselfs because they were playing in a dangerous way and when they didn't want to hear it I said that I'm just the common sense here, because I was worried about them. The friend replayed to me that "common sense ruins the fun" and of course they didn't listen to me. Thankfully though my brother and his friend didn't get hurt.

@@NightCloudI Ugh, how annoying! Glad nobody gut hurt. 🥹
As an INTP, I do like chocolate, but going on a hunt with clues sounds like a lot of fun. (Also, yes ... INTPs have been known to fake happiness.)
Yes, yes we do, and we especially fake it to ourselves.
I don't even know my feelings. How could I fake them? 🤣
And yes, that mentally stimulating hunt by clues sounds like a lot of fun.
Btw, that strained smile of Kristin's where her smile didn't reach her eyes was spot on. 👌
@@danielfranklin9784 emotions are your body signalling something to your consciousness, feeling them is just a more efficient way of dealing with them than a conscious technical analysis. Try to disprove that xD

I am ENTP and my friend INFJ trolls me in most of the time. It's quite funny that you show them always so innocent.
Well, we do tend to portray ourselves as quite innocent to the outside world. 😈
(Although, imo, for as savage as an INFJ can be, we also tend to have a very innocent side, too. It’s like a baby wolf…or something like that anyway. Haha)
It's because most ESxx don't know the power of third Ti.
I enjoyed the David Attenborough references in the subtitles. Now I want to see a David Attenborough style documentary about MBTI types.
The Attenbro line got a giggle out of me.
We do have the nature documentary now 👀
Also really nice seeing more of your lovely garden. Perfect backdrop for such a warm video!
My dad plants a mean garden 👌
So it wasn’t even your house?! (INFP thinks he’s observant…) Props to your dad!
My brother is an ISTJ and friend an ENFP. This is just so spot on. It's funny to know that they share all of their cognitive functions but in reverse. Makes such a difference. Well done and Happy (belated) Easter to you, Kristin!
It really is. I’m an ENFP with an ISTJ mum (my dad is also an ENFP) this is exactly what our dynamic is like. 😂
@@Meg_intheclouds Haha too funny. I'm an ENFJ so I just sit back and enjoy.
I never saw your earlier comment but I adore this one 🥺💞
@@sophiaredwood5825 I'm glad. :)
I hid easter eggs and made these nice cryptic clues needed to find them...and barely any were found without me giving extra hints. I don't know if I should be proud of myself or disappointed in others' lack of puzzle solving skills.
Yes I'm an INTJ
Give the INTP reason to try and they wouldn't need hints. The only reason they didn't succeed was because they weren't interested enough.
As an INFJ and youngest son of an ENTP father, I can assure you that he was able to read me like he made a research about me when he actually never does while I'm struggling to read my own father. Gosh dag nabbit 🙂🤣😤
Estj-Istp interaction is amazing in this video! So funny😀

Thank you so much for all the verses and references to what Easter is actually about!! It’s awesome to see you taking steps to give God glory despite what others may think. Also just all the thought that goes into every single video is just incredible! Thanks Kristin!!
Second this! Fantastic!
7:40 nah this isn't realistic, ENFP would never remember the reference 😅
It's in "John something" lol
FAIR
The whole time I was watching Bob, I was thinking, "Please don't be the INTJ"--but of course, he was. And very accurate, too. I've done the exact same things more often than I care to admit (under different circumstances, of course). Especially, "No. It can't be Jenny. That would be too obvious." (Ni denial of Se reality.)
So the ENTP losing 80% of their interest is slightly inaccurate. It's really more like 72%. 22% is then dedicated to forging false security in the recipient of the kindness, and the last 6% is this spark of genuine good that we usually push down really deep inside. Cheers 👍
Close enough for me to concur -ENTP
Oh, hitch here though, The ENTP does actually make sure to thank Jenny regardless. An INFJ asked, and well, INFJ...
-ENTP (we only simp for INFJs... and even then only when they aren't looking)
As an ENTP, correcting the slight difference in percentages here, with logical reasoning and confidence as if those numbers are actually measurable, is one of the most ENTP things I've seen in these comments lol.
This is the most brutal, stressful, and exhilarating Easter egg hunt I've ever witnessed.
As an INTP, I relate to the INTP and ISTP the most, as well as the ENTP a bit, and the ENTJ saying to never assume that people aren’t idiots and that the ESTP has a problem. Because people often are by certain definitions. Also, I like chocolate. So I might hunt.
as an enfp with bad arachnophobia, i new immediately that was my type!! it never fails to amase me how you get it so accurate every time
"But the INTP never did join..." sums up 90% of INTP social interactions.

It one of the greatest mbti sketch I've seen.
Thanks for flattering me.

As an INFP I can confirm that there is background music to our alternate universe imaginations.
Or when you were sat alone in year 7 a lot so you had an imaginary friend who was your partner in class who you spoke to or just straight up talking to the chair because you don’t need a person you just need to externally process, but of course it is better with people who can bounce off of you)
Also love the ESTP wrapping up the stones because my ESTP sister 100% would do that and guaranteed it would be me who would fall for it and not even realise it’s a prank (happened sm at primary and secondary school- like I just am so oblivious to the joke I don’t even realise I’m being pranked 😂).
I am also currently watching this with a messy bun- I’ve noticed you do the ENFP hairstyle as a messy bun a lot, but it is very spot on it’s my go to especially in spring and summer (which it now is in the uk).
I sometimes see a shirt at the gym saying "Messy bun - getting stuff done." Thanks to you, I now know that stuff = sock puppet theatre.
hahaha 💙 .. breaking up with an entire sock drawer 🙌

I'll allow it.

Keep up the great work, loved the my type's religious wordplay, we definitly do such things, sometimes on purpose to get reactions like Jill's😂
Last video (INFP in ESTJ's eyes) was so fierce tho, it gave me a good laugh
Happy Easter.
Very well done. The subtitles were excellent, and as an INTP I have to admit that I busted a gut laughing when they got to the "who would bother to fake happiness?" answer :)

It was about winning the competition, so the day after didn't matter.
