I'm from the old school, it took me a while trying to convert the grams to tsp and tbsp, etc. Would it be too much to ask. in the future, you can list the ingredients in imperial measurements as well? Much appreciated.

我煮飯所用的豬油其實是來自於煎Bacon遺留落來的Bacon fat. 哈哈. 反正都出錢買了Bacon了, 所以就物盡其用, 一舉兩得. 有時候, 煎豬腩肉釋出的油脂我也會收集起來, 當豬油用.

我用电饭煲做过,是可以的,有很多水蒸气出来的时候放腊肉闷熟就行。不过用锅做更用时更短且更美味。我也没有cast iron,用任何保温性能好的锅都行。我用的是不锈钢锅。

Thanks for sharing! 我都係用緊cast iron煲,請問有冇秘訣可以煲到有多啲飯焦?
個人經驗(同為cast iron用家):預期煲飯時間夠鐘之時唔熄火,反而加大到中猛火然後企正喺隔籬唔好行開,聽到脆聲以及聞到澱粉質煎香之後(聞落會有d似煎餃)再熄火焗佢七至八分鐘,中猛火加熱時間約莫2-4分鐘,但每個廚房爐頭唔一樣所以時間只是參考,最主要係靠自己嘅五官嚟判斷,可以去盡d唔需要驚,試多兩次。至於某d食譜所謂嘅大火一分鐘焗飯焦,除非係炮爐,否則心理作用大過實際。
