Thanks Josh - as always a very informative video. I wanted to point out something that caught me by surprise when I purchased Vegas Pro 365 that wasn't at all clear to me initially. The Vegas Pro 365 subscription ONLY allows 1 computer activation. While the normal Vegas Pro (upgrade) allows 2 computer activations. This is a show stopper in my workflow with a desktop computer and a laptop computer for work in the field. This seems super "silly" (substitute your own colorful word here) and to me negates any of the Vegas Hub benefits. I sure hope that if Magix switches to a subscription only model for Vegas in the future, that they allow 2 computer activations (as Adobe and others do). Argh!
Did you buy the full licence or subscription? I just bought the full licence only to find out, that there is no stock content for the full licence. This is so retarded, also you can only install the subscription licence to one pc! I have more than one pc and I´m switching from one to another.
Love this video. Which option should I choose when I start a new project and I want the downloads in my HUB explorer removed, but not deleted. "Remove Vegas HUB file? OR ... local file?
How do I register in VEGAS HUB, I don't know how to do it, can you explain it to me please? When I try to enter my email I get We couldn't find an account with your email address I'm trying to register but it doesn't work
Can’t download the hub app on my iPhone, says not available in country or region . I live in California in the states, I guess this feature, as good as it is , does me no good
Yes. There are a few subscription only features because subscription based features have a monthly costs of utilizing cloud storage and network. Unfortunately, monstrous amounts of hard drive space along with the internet and bandwidth to go with it all cost VEGAS money every month. So it will always have to be subscription based when you're using subscription based services and features.
@@ScrapyardFilms Ahh right i see that makes sense. I was thinking i no longer have to use storyblocks because i thought i had lifetime free service with Vegas stupid of me to think that haha fair enough. What about the mobile to timeline feature ?
Usually VFX are done in VFX specific software like VEGAS Effects, HitFilm, and After Effects. I may get around to that in the future but I have a lot of vids in the queue at the moment.
@@ScrapyardFilms Ik but i have seen many tutorials on Pr and Ae not a single on Vegas that's y i asked you . Vegas is kinda underrated it's simple to use and powerfull as well i hope once you finish your projects you'll work in this genre as well 💯
Hello Josh = ) The most in depth review i've seen so far , great effort. Please i need your help about a monitor Asus ProArt PA278QV. Currently i'm doing my own laptop desk setup, the one thing left is the monitor. I want to get back to editing and Photoshop after 5 years of leaving this field so i need to make a huge upgrade and you have been a great inspiration for me to do this. My main laptop now wich i bought a few months ago Lenovo Legion 5i RTX 2060 with refresh rate 144 and IPS panel which's i found very good rather than TN panel used to work with. In your opinion does this Asus monitor is totally worth it in 2021 and btw it's an expensive monitor where i live. So any help or tips would be very nice from you = ) And of anyone's else read my comment please give your own opinion Have a blessing day Y'all
okay i dont have the subscription version of Post, i just have the paid up front full amount, i can sign in but i have no content available, is there an option on their website to buy this option?
It's absolutely confusing the way they layout that these features appear to be included in Vegas Post when it's only inclusive to the subscription model?! Why can't they list all of the subscription features separate from Vegas Edit, Pro And Post? that's why I deleted all Magix and Vegas products from my machine.
But..... they did separate them.... I even show a picture in the video where they state the features that are subscription only and the rest that come with the program
V19 is also a perpetual license program also. Only reason this is a subscription based feature is because of the monthly costs of utilizing cloud storage. Unfortunately, monstrous amounts of hard drive space along with the internet and bandwidth to go with it all cost VEGAS money every month. So it will always have to be subscription based when you're using subscription based services and features.
@@ScrapyardFilms Yes but I thought the perpetual licensed didn't include text to speech and the free stock footage. I don't see what else V19 has to offer other than a new UI and some colour grading tweaks. I have over a thousand videos on youtube but I've never felt the need to use online storage, so that's not a selling point for me either (besides UA-cam is practically free online storage lol). Been using Vegas since V12 under Sony. It's a perfect editing suite for my needs but I'm not won over by the marketing push towards subscription. I'll see how it develops but I think V18 has all I need for the foreseeable future... I'll see what V20 or even V21 brings. Thanks for the vids anyway!
This is so awesome but it fucking sucks that this shit is locked behind a fucking subscription! I totally refuse to purchase the subscription for this. 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 thank you very much for the video again outlining the features of something I'm not going to be able to utilize but still it's definitely dope.

kinda expensive... compared to After Effects? And when you stop subscribing, the software disappears. You can choose to own outright Vegas Post. Only losers use cracked software. I hope someone "pirates" your work and when you go to get paid... they'll tell you that you have been cracked.
Excellent as usual, thanks

I’ve been holding off, but it does look sensational.
No videos show up at all in the hub when I access it :S It always says "no results found"

So If i bought vegas pro instead of getting the subscription, then I cant access the royalty free things?
Is it worth it to switch to 19 and Hub if I only have integrated graphics r/n?

This is only for the subscription version, unfortunately, since it deals with third party servers

not a good reason to delete the software from your computer considering that the features have always been listed separately....
I love Vegas but hate subscriptions... so V19 looks like a no no to me.

The price is kinda expensive, you cannot do much of pro effects like in marvel movies. After Effects is better, especially cracked :)
If you’re using cracked software you’re a douche.
