You can’t spin laying off an entire department as a good thing. The Cybertruck needs V4 superchargers. Not dispensers, actual chargers. Good thing Tesla is a Texas company. They are good at shooting their own feet.

Big congrats on ep 400. Been with you since almost the v beginning. Boggles my mind how you keep this up every single week without fail. Still appreciate your work and content as much as ever! 👍❤️
Firing the whole 500 person team is extreme. 500 people probably cost Tesla $100-$200 million per year. That’s a pretty small number for Tesla. Especially, since superchargers help adoption rate and perceived as a major benefit for Tesla.
@@georgedemchak8367 Sure, they *can* fire whoever they want, but that doesn't imply that doing so is a good decision. At a bare minimum they could have handled things better dealing with all the business relationships the people on the charging team had with external parties.
Ya it is tough to defend Elon's decision making on this without a real explanation. I get you may have internal management problems but the people doing the work didnt deserve to get canned due to politics and it has been a major cause of FUD and stock value issues. Owners and EV owners deserved better and this decision will slow thigns massively.

Congratulations for your 400th episode on your UA-cam channel. With the valuable content you've made, you ought to be at 1 million subscriptions by now, in my opinion. Suggestions on how to improve your subscriptions: 1) Make each episode shorter so as to make it more digestible (not more than 30 minutes), even if it requires dividing the episodes in 2 or 3 segments released per day. 2) Invite more VIP guests. Try to get an interview with Elon Musk for exemple. 3) Have a day when you get in a call in episode to get the subscribers involved, with a question and answer session. 4) Have a workshop project, where you get for example to work on the repairs for an electric vehicle. Otherwise, you could work on the installation of photovoltaic solar panels or some other renewable energy project. 5) Have an episode that is related to charitable projects. For example, traveling to an African country to help an African village with a renewable energy project. I could make a suggestion in that respect if you're keen on that idea.
I would be so happy find out my car had more batteries/ range than advertised. Even if you don’t unlock you always have that potential if you want it And at resale it can be a selling point for the next person.
Respectfully disagree that they don't need any new locations. You have the benefit of living in the US where you can already get everywhere using the SC network. LOTS of places, especially up here in Canada, still cannot access many areas because there aren't superchargers connecting them. I can only get from Calgary (1.5M pop) to my home town in Saskatoon (350k pop) directly in the summer because there aren't enough supercharger locations in between. A 6-hour drive turns into a 9-hour drive in the winter because I have to go 300km out of the way to a route that does have coverage.
Maybe they finally have wireless charging ready to deploy everywhere, such as in front of your favourite shops in the parking lot. It's been a while they've been developing it and at their rate of technology Tesla has to be ready to deploy.
Agree SC is a global charging network there are so many black spots outside of the US. Already so many permitted locations that were funded by governments are now been told that by their local Tesla staff that Tesla won’t commit to these agreements. Surely Tesla has the credibility of at least honouring these agreements that have already been permitted. No doubt Tesla credibility will suffer from this from partners, suppliers etc.
you don’t need development, engineers and marketing people for a system that’s 99.9% reliable and already being implemented by the installation department. See Sandy Monroe’s take on it all.
Thank you, and congratulations on your 400th episode! I have been watching you guys for about 4 years now, and can say with all sincerity that I have learned so much from you! Absolutely agree!! AZ needs a minimum of 14 new locations otherwise the CT is not useful. We have a 402 mile S now, and it is a challenge to see the backcountry.
However, there should now be enough driver data, such that a well written program should be able to determine suitable/necessary locations where none exist. You certainly wouldn't need a team of 500 to locate & negotiate to buy/lease the sites to put SC station on. What other team exists that could expand a few members to take this task on? I suspect this isn't as poorly thought out as most seem to think
You are absolutely correct Jessie on upgrading the Model S from 60 to 75 for a small fee. We bought our Model S in Feb./17 and a month later we upgraded to the 75 for $3,000 CDN.
I saw my first Cybertruck about 5 miles south of Eugene, Oregon. It was pulling a flatbed trailer and both were covered with mud. Actually a work truck. About 12 miles Zak, from Arcimoto, or 480 miles from home.

Thanks guys for being there stoically for such a long time. You've introduced me into Tesla back in 2015, making me a happy fanboy-investor from Argentina ever since. I was lucky enough to make a trip to US and fulfill one of my dreams of driving a Model Y a couple of years ago. Next dream is to own one but it'll take a little more time 😅 Keep going forward!
Congratulations on getting your CyberTruck. It would be great if you could do a video about your delivery and any issues or problems you had with the CyberTruck when you took delivery. Also if you had to setup any service appointments for things to be fixed. It will be nice to know what things to keep an eye out for when taking delivery. Thank You
I'm not convinced that the Optimus robots were working autonomously. The trainers were making the exact same motions as the robots at the exact same time.
Watch the original video, and read the text... It shows that at that point it was teleoperated for early training. Other parts of the video shows that it's doing it on its own.
@@francoisbedard6021 I did watch the video. You can't tell if there's someone in the room doing training. Tesla should have more clearly explained the video.
Some thing that I thought that might be cool is if you could put just a washer dryer in the back of the cyber truck just a cold water hose and do one or two loads of wash and see where the battery is. The idea is that theoretically in a disaster you could take a washer dryer and really help people who need to clean clothing but maybe their electricity is off and by doing a couple of loads you could possibly figure out how many loads That the truck could do With a full battery . or heck maybe just washing clothing and handing out cheap nylon cord that they could run a clothesline to dry. I just remember this was a big deal after some hurricanes in Houston. And by the way my name is Michael I live in San Antonio Texas I’ve been watching you guys since you two were sitting in front of a brick wall. I really enjoy watching you two . I was born in 65 and my son was born in 95 . I was in construction and my son is all about tech And has a good computer job. But aside from these similarities I really enjoy your Content , and your humor, and you’re keeping this presentation fresh, your hard work your honesty and your concern that humans stop polluting themselves needlessly. One day I might get to shake your hand at some event but thanks again for all your hard work.
You guys are absolute legends. So glad I stumbled across your show a while back now. We need MORE super chargers in Australia. 🇦🇺. We don’t have many at all.
I think you minimize the effort of all of the super charger team did in the last few years, your channel did not exists because of the super charger network and I think you should mention that. I understand that as an leader you have to take decisions but if you take on consideration of the people that got fired, and take impartial and objective view and not defending Elon Musk all the time. but agree to disagree.
I'm surprised how far I had to scroll to finally see a comment about this. For a show that has TWO segments dedicated to celebrating the competitive advantages of an ever growing Supercharger network, Zack and Jesse's flippant dismissal of Elon's decision as an astute, thought-out business move is baffling. They didn't even mention that the firings were so drastic and unexpected that Tesla no longer even knows who they are dealing with and whom they owe money to. I can understand that Zack and Jesse are excited about their new Cybertruck right now, but if I want "Fox News" type reporting that twists everything to support "our guy" no matter what he does, we're no better than the FUDdy mainstream media outlets that brought us to seek out wonderful shows like Tesla Time News in the first place.
you don’t need development, engineers and marketing people for a system that’s 99.9% reliable and already being implemented by the installation department. See Sandy Monroe’s take on it all.
@@mikegingerich7808 That is interesting. You didn't say, but you could have 2 wheel drive (31.5 ft circle or 15.75 radius) or 4wd (36.4 ft circle, or 18.2 radius). My Geo Tracker 4wd is 32.4 ft circle or 16.2 ft radius. The smallest I have found, on the Internet was 26.4 ft circle or 13.2 ft radius for the Scion iQ hatchback. A small turning circle does make a car "fun to drive".

I am also launching my own EV level 2 charging network. Appreciate your coverage and dedication
Episode 400 and getting your Cybertruck, you couldn't had planned it better if you tried. Congratulations on both achievements. I hope I get my VIN soon for my Cyberbest. My close friend just received his all wheel Cybertruck today.
I haven't watched a lot lately, mostly cause it's okay to hate Elon's commentary and still also like his products. Something y'all can't get behind and I get it. But I'm here for this, proud of y'all's wait.
It doesn't help with Zac and Jesse's credibility - they are drinking the kool-aid from a fire hose. Elon fired the *entire* supercharger department. Sorry but there is no justification for this.

The worry is how the previous owner treated their battery.

Congratulations on your 400 show. Please keep up the good work.
Thanks guys for being there stoically for such a long time. You've introduced me into Tesla back in 2015, making me a happy fanboy-investor from Argentina ever since.
I was lucky enough to make a trip to US and fulfill one of my dreams of driving a Model Y a couple of years ago. Next dream is to own one but it'll take a little more time 😅
Keep going forward!
Thank You
Tanks A Lot Z&J for teaching us!
Tesla should have more clearly explained the video.
damn that was a hot minute. where does the time go. super happy for you two. its a bit of relief to see finally your cybertruck delivered. cheers!
Thanx for 7.7 yrs of educating the public about electrification and Tesla news!
Congrats on episode 400 and receiving your Cyber Trukkk !
Been with you guys for like 376 of those episodes, way to go!!!
I very much enjoy watching the news from you guys! Keep up the good work!!
Congrats on Cyber! Thank you for all your great coverage!
Easy, S3CXY
Congratulations on 400 programs!
When new Roadster & (if) Model A exist, it would be S3XY CAR
Congrats guys. Tons of hard work.
Glad you finally got your Cybertruck
Congrats on 400. love you both.
37:15 This is one of the greatest TTMs yet!!!
I have watched you from time times of news from your car! Great going guys.
Welcome to the Cybertruck club! Congratulations on 400!
37:14 this black and white bit with the 50's-esque singing was mint. loved it!
I've been watching since ep. 183! Thanks for all your hard work! Here's to (at least) 400 more!
Well done guys, I'm a huge fan 🙂
Yes!!!! Cybertruck made it to your 400th video!!! ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Congrats fellers! Keep up the good work !!!
Congrats you guys!! You really deserve it!!
Please compare the turning radius between Rivian, F150, hummer, model 3, model s, etc
ID.4 turning radius (RWD) is the best of any car I've owned
@@mikegingerich7808 That is interesting. You didn't say, but you could have 2 wheel drive (31.5 ft circle or 15.75 radius) or 4wd (36.4 ft circle, or 18.2 radius). My Geo Tracker 4wd is 32.4 ft circle or 16.2 ft radius. The smallest I have found, on the Internet was 26.4 ft circle or 13.2 ft radius for the Scion iQ hatchback. A small turning circle does make a car "fun to drive".
@@wilfredvanvalkenburgh2874 I have the rear wheel drive ID4
Congrats on 400 !!! perfect timing of the cybertruck!
I agree with Jesse. P51 is a fighter. Plus the Tiger mouth nose art was for the P40 Fighter.
Congrats on 400, I was just thinking back when you got Sparky and went on that crazy road trip all over. Where does the time go. Looking forward to the next 400
It seems they hired the same team to work on the Fresno rail as worked on the border wall. Fresno Area Rapid Transit, FART. Jeannine
Clever editing for Zack in the frunk 😂 love it
Congrats on finally getting your Cybertruck. I started watching your show right after the Cybertruck reveal. A few days later I reserved my Cybertruck. I have been driving a Y LR since june of 2022 while I wait patiently up here in Canada. Thanks for the amazing content and I have been a Patreon since my 2nd show. I am looking forward to voting on what we want to see with your truck.
You guys are hilarious ... I totally see the same father son dynamics in my house !!!
Congrats on your Cybertruck!!!
You guys were my first show and deep dive into Tesla faning the flames of obsession, then all in on TSLA with help from Steven Mark Ryan, now Model Y performance owner last 2.5 yrs and future Cybertruck owner. I am also launching my own EV level 2 charging network.
Appreciate your coverage and dedication
Congratulations guys!!
Congratulations on the 400 episodes!
Cybertruck on Episode 400, how perfect! Congratulations 🎉👏
You’re doing a lot of assuming here.
Same. Tesla > Elon
Many more returns of the show!
Love the show and been watching for ages. Congrats 🎉
